5 million stars for Leah. This is my second balayage with her. She is so talented at balayage and blending. I feel so lucky to have found her. She gives me just the right amount of lift, warmth and blonde. My hair has never been healthier. She won't over process your hair (because who wants that!?) and she gives you a gorgeous natural look. Not to mention she's a total sweetheart. Love you Leah! Thanks a million! read more

Naomi is fabulous. Second time seeing her and I meant to write this review the first time. Some people cut hair and some people are professional hair stylists who, listen, think and then create the best cut with what they have to work with. This is Naomi. She knows her stuff. And she's kind. Highly recommend. read more

I went to Callie for a few years and she is by far the most amazing blonde specialist I've ever been to - I moved across the country and haven't been able to find anyone who can transform my hair the way she did. I'm about to hop a plane just for a hair sesh!! Anyways one thing I really appreciate about Callie is that she always took into consideration the health of my hair, she always found a balance between the perfect blonde and leaving my hair healthy and without damage. It was truly an art that I haven't been able to find anywhere else. If you're blonde and aren't going to Callie and Treo you are missing out big, can't recommend enough!!! read more

I have struggled for years to find a colorist I trust for my hair, until Callie at Treo! She is absolutely AMAZING and has transformed by hair. She always know exactly what to do to get my hair to look how I want it to be and is always open and honest about how we can achieve the hair goals I want. She is truly an expert in blonding and anyone would be lucky to have her. Plus she is so much fun to be around, I look forward to seeing her every few months :) read more

Sarah has long been my hairstylist. She recently opened Treo Organic salon and I couldn't be more happy to continue to be her client. Her new line of OWay products have all the products you need without the harmful chemicals. I am a natural dirty blond and have been playing around with different Rose Golds with both Kevin Murphy and now Oway.. I am so far excited with this new line and I have gotten many many compliments on this beautiful hue called Rose Pearl. The salon also sponsors a charity each year and holds multiple opportunities for their clients to participate in contributing back to the community. If you haven't had a chance, pop in. Great new space and local stylists to meet all your hair care needs. read more

Just want to extend a warm and happy thank you to Anne, who left me with just about the cutest little pixie cut I've gotten in a while. I'll certainly be returning. She's also a doll and so easy to chat with. Jessie was right next to us and she was also a joy to meet. read more

Callie is truly a gem! I have been going to her for almost a year. I came in with my goal hair pictures and she has been nothing but open and honest about achieving my goals and every appointment I am one step closer. I am always so happy when I leave the salon and my hair is the healthiest it has ever been. A beautiful and clean/non toxic salon. I felt safe and pampered due to care of Jess and the Salon's adherence to Covid-19 requirements. I love my hair makeover! Jess was so attentive, delightful and talented. I'll be back! read more

Treo Organic Salon - I had a hair makeover with Jess at Treo! - Hair Salons Near Me - Seattle, Washington

I have been going to treo for over 2 years now and cannot say enough good things! Finding a salon that cares about the ingredients in their products and advocating for cleaner and less toxic ingredients is what drew me to this salon. But what keeps me going back is the amazing work the stylists do, especially Callie! I've finally been able to find someone who specializes in blonding that can really make me look and feel like a million dollars! I have found my forever hairstylist, she's a true artist!! read more

Love this place. I just moved here from NorCal and have only ever had one person doing my color or cutting my hair. I lucked out by getting Sarah who is wonderful! Great job! Beautiful person and runs a really nice salon. She is my new person for all things hair. So happy I discovered this place. It was recommended to me on NextDoor. read more

Since the mid 2000s I've been following my stylist from chair to chair at various salons. I'm happy to say I no longer need to because she's opened her own - Treo Organic Salon. Sarah and her entire staff are amazing at what they do. Treo is full of gifted stylists and they never fail to amaze. When the pandemic forced me to embrace my gray, Sarah began helping me transition my previous brassy (and sun damaged) tones into a more natural silver. It's a phenomenal change and I feel beautiful in my natural color. I get compliments on my silver shine, and at an age where one normally dreads going gray, I couldn't be more pleased. read more

After trying out several salons, I am so grateful I finally found Treo and Callie! Even after moving further away from the salon, I'll happily drive 1 hour+ for my appointments. It's beyond worth it. Not only am I constantly obsessed with the color of my hair but it's never been healthier. Callie has proven that you don't have to compromise the condition to get your dream color. Plus, Callie has the sincerity to really listen to what you want, the experience to know what will work and not work, and the talent to execute (and exceed expectations)! Plus the personality to light up your day! Callie is simply the best. Pro tip: pick up a pastry right next door from The Original Bakery after your appointment to celebrate your gorgeous new hair! read more

It took many attempts to find a hair salon in Seattle that understood my MN blond hair and my MN thriftiness (read I love MN prices as compared to Seattle). Well I found my hair salon that is warm and cozy and gives you a great cut and color. Based on my schedule i have actually seen three different stylists - Heather, Elaina, and Ke'sha. They have all been fabulous giving me a great cut and color that is easy to maintain and grows out really well! read more

Seriously amazing place. I've seen Kotay, Sarah, Heather & Ashley and each one of these ladies has serious talent. The salon is so beautiful, modern but cozy, they keep it super clean and the service is what I'd expect of a place in NYC. The owner is a doll and it's a very warm and welcoming environment with no pretense, which I LOVE. Quality without the drive or the attitude. I'll continue to see the gals at Treo for all my haircare needs! Oh, and their product line is pretty dope, also. read more

Callie is the best! She is such a perfectionist in her work and so good at what she does, a natural talent. She also really cares a lot about my hair health and not just an immediate perfect outcome. She helps me achieve my hair goals over time and she seems to love the process too. She is so nice and honest. I'm tired of previous hair stylist that just telling me they can do things they can't do- Callie is always upfront and honest about what my hair can handle. read more

I am so happy with my experience with Callie. She listen to what I wanted and I felt cared for throughout the whole service. She made me feel comfortable and really paid attention to detail. I wanted something bright and blonde, but also lower maintenance. She delivered a beautifully bright, yet natural and blended end result. I can't wait to go back! read more

Definitely the best salon in west Seattle!!! Every time I get my hair done here it comes out perfectly! Every single time!!!! All the ladies here are super friendly and welcoming and easy to communicate with and best of all GREAT AT WHAT THEY DO! And reasonably priced! Couldn't get an appointment before a trip I was going on and went somewhere else for a bang and layers trim expecting the same level of care (how hard is a trim?) and walked out with a horrible chop job. Learned my lesson and should have just waited for an appointment here! Don't waste your time or money somewhere else GO TO TREO!!! read more

I don't want to give it 5 stars because getting an appointment with Kotay is already hard due to popularity, but they do it right here! Their products are all organic and they try to be as sustainable as they can be given their industry. I LOVE my color every time I get it done and want to show it off as much as possible. Great vibes, natural light and a great location. I always look forward to my next appointment! read more

It's 3 weeks after my color and it's already fading and I have found long grey hairs that seem to have not been missed in the coloring process. This color should be lasting several months not WEEKS. I am BEYOND livid. I have never spent this much on my hair; let alone have it last less than 1 month. I want my money back. During COVID I didn't color my hair for over a year and my color lasted almost 9 months. Here I have it fading in 3 weeks. WTF?!?! read more

Sarah has been coloring and cutting my hair since 2009. I always walk out of her salon feeling young and stylish despite being "of a certain age." She takes the time to understand what I want but is also good at making suggestions that work for me. Sarah is adept at mixing and applying color so that it looks natural. She also has a knack for cutting and styling to complement my features, and I can maintain the style on my own with a minimum of fuss. She is also very warm and funny and fun to gab with. I feel like family when I'm there. I love the new salon too. It has a stylish yet comfortable vibe with lots of friendly faces. And a big bonus is that they use only organic products without the harsh chemicals that stink and make you feel like you should be wearing a mask! read more

I saw Leah and I'm thrilled as she understood the assignment! I've been colouring my hair (solid blown) and my grey roots for many years but I've decided to go heavy blonde highlights and do some grey blending so I won't have to dye my roots every 14 days. The foiling is perfect and I believe overtime, what I want to achieve, Leah can do! It's not a cheap process but I feel I'm in great hands to complete the blonde mission. read more

When I first moved to Seattle in 2013, I struggled to find a colorist that could keep my hair both blonde and healthy. I went to three highly rated professionals, all of which over processed my hair so severely that it began to break apart, and eventually, it started thinning out as well. On two recommendations I went to Heather and the rest is history. Heather rescued my hair from the damage of my initial Seattle stylists and brought both my hair and spirits back to life. She's a perfectionist committed to her craft who never sells me on products and services I don't need. Heather's approach is honest, kind, fun, and best of all, effective. She has taken the time to understand my style, my preferences, and my level of comfort with change, in order to keep my look up-to-date and exciting. I adore Heather personally and respect her professionally! read more

I've been a loyal customer, fan and friend to Collins for a decade and have followed her in her journey along the salon quest. Honestly, I would follow her anywhere. She is an artist (no, really, a very talented painter!) and that artistry shows up on every head. Her color, composition, creativity and PATIENCE are unparalleled. Treo is by far my favorite of all the salons we've traveled together! Impeccable style, where everything matters, including a purpose. Good for our heads and self esteem but also the community and planet. Also, the music is on point! Just sayin. I recommend whole heartedly and only with minimal hesitation at sharing this treasure with the world (because I'd love to hoard the magic!) #shorthairdontcare #collinscrush read more

Sarah saves me from a really terrible haircut and she is such a lovely person. I could honestly chat with her for hours. Such a gorgeous, bright spot and the lighting literally makes everyone look fabulous! Prices are high but worth it. read more

For more than 30 years I've been looking for a stylist who will listen and give me the hair cut I'm asking for. I've been a nomad migrating from salon to salon on the recommendations of friends with stylists giving me good cuts, but not what I asked for or what I ask for done very poorly. FINALLY I have Heather! I've known about her for a while, but didn't want to go to DT Seattle (I live in rural east King county) to a big busy salon. Now that she's in W. Seattle, in a neighborhood, at sheik little digs, I'm all in! She did a fantastic job and I luuuvvvv my new 'doo!!! It's done well AND is what I've been asking for! BOOM! If that weren't enough, just steps away is an awesome bakery-coffee shop and a fantastic little restaurant. I had coffee before and lunch after which was icing on the cake...or should I say "a massage on the scalp" lol, which Heather excelled at!!! read more

Callie is absolutely incredible! I have been going to her regularly for a couple years now, and still to this day I am amazed at how talented she is. I always get compliments on my hair and I owe that to her! My Mother in law was so obsessed with my results that she now is a regular with her as well now too! Callie is a true artist who cares very much about the people who sit in her chair. I always leave in a better mood because her personality is uplifting! I couldn't recommend her enough! read more

I got a balayage and haircut yesterday with Elaina, she's the best! I've only ever highlighted my hair with foils, so a balayage was new for me. But I took Elaina's recommendation and it turned out wonderful! Naturally blended and a nice caramel blonde color that effortlessly compliments my natural hair tone. The haircut turned out great as well (I was overdue). The salon itself has a modern / crisp and clean vibe to it, made me feel like I was having a relaxing spa day. All the stylists seem like they really enjoy their work and were very warm and welcoming. I'll for sure be back! read more

I'm a last minute planner, so for years I've asked for whoever was available to cut my hair at Treo - at this point I've had my hair done by almost everyone there and I have left feeling amazing every time. I've been getting my hair professionally colored, on and off for decades. And Elaina made me the happiest I've ever been with color! I came in needing all sorts of color help and it felt complicated and impossible. She made it simple and her execution was brilliant. I love it. Also, I have very curly hair that needs a lot of expertise for a cut, and she has that. She really knows what she's doing. Finally, the salon itself is lovely. The aesthetic is calming and beautiful. read more

So happy that I followed Heather during her move to Treo. I was having a hair crisis (for a few years) and wanted to make a major change from longish hair to a pixie. Only one person in town could do me right: Heather. She is a master at her craft, she listens to her clients (she can quote me from 3 yrs ago) and shares honest feedback. I LOVE MY HAIR. Go see her now. read more

I have been on the hunt for a great colorist for blonde hair. I have tried many people, based on referrals, but no one imptessed me until I went to Heather! She works magic with a blend of foils and balyage. She takes her time and I am always so pleased with the results. I highly recommend Heather...but I hope this doesn't make it harder for me to get in to see her with this review! read more

I've been getting my hair cut by Heather for at least 15 years. Heather was voted best stylist in Seattle a few years back and I highly recommend her. She used to be downtown and is now at Treo in West Seattle and it's well worth the extra drive for me. The salon is very nice, too, with very friendly people. read more

Amazing new salon. I recently made an appointment for a foil and trim with Ashley. The color turned out natural and perfectly vibrant. I have received so many complaints in the last few days on the color and style, so grateful! The ambiance and decor are beautiful. I look forward to my next visit. Thank you Ashley! read more

I have been going to Treo since it opened and it is fantastic. There are 7-8 stylist there....and based on the craziness of my schedule, I have seen many of them....and all are great. I started going there as I had been a client of Sarah and Collins at other salons.....they are both very experienced and wonderful. I most often see Rachael (who works S-M-Tu), and she is outstanding. I am in the salon every couple weeks....everyone is nice and so talented there. No reason to travel downtown....and deal with traffic, parking, etc....when this fabulous salon is filled with stylists who all used to work at the salons downtown and also don't want to deal with traffic, parking, etc. read more

Love - Love - Love this place. This was the first time I had my hair colored with organic products. I am so happy with the results. I'm so used to my head burning from the ammonia while getting highlights. Since I am new in town, this was also the first time to get my hair cut and colored from someone other than my guy in LA. Elaina was awesome - listening to me and working with my hair, my style and, the color she added was just right. Super happy! Easy to book online and super responsive and informative if you decide to call. Go Here ;-) read more

I just finished getting my hair done with Elaina and she's amazing! I truly love this salon and haven't loved a hairdo like I do this one for a very long time. Elaina took time to make sure every inch was perfect. Sarah, the shop owner is extremely personable and not only does she exude the kind of contemporary style and professional poise that we all look for in a stylist, but has opened a salon that feels like the perfect marriage of authentic and organic boutique beauty. I will recommend Treo to anyone and everyone that I can. Thank you ladies!! read more
