Great customer service and they did a great job removing a large tree in my front yard. Very professional and looks great!

This company gave me one of the lowest bids for cutting down 3 trees and doing two stump grindings, so I hired them. I did tell them that my plants, irrigation, and existing electrical were important to me to prevent damage. They arrived on time, when they said they would. I did emphasize to them again that there was electrical and irrigation near the tree and to be careful. They actually did a good job of cutting the tree down, using a rope to tie off bigger branches. They left kind of a mess, which is what I expected since I had landscape rocks mostly. I knew the grinding wouldn't be pretty. My only gripe is that three of my landscape lights were not working after they left. After further inspection, I found a cut wire on top of the area where the trees were. I e-mailed a photo of the cut wire and an explained to them what happened, even after I clearly explained my concerns about the electrical wire. Their only response was that their contract, which they pretty much force you to sign, says they take no responsibility for any damage they cause. I would've thought that at least they could've attempted to have been more careful since I clearly explained my concerns in advance multiple times. It is evident that they really don't care about your property or any damage that they do to it. If you have electrical wires or irrigation, I would advise going with someone else. Now I will have to spend countless hour's digging up my my landscape to fix all the damage they did. I'm fairly certain they probably damaged my irrigation as well. As the saying goes, you get what you pay for. read more

Property Destruction Masquerading as "Tree Service" - Avoid at All Costs Overall Rating: 1 Star (If I could give zero, I would) I am writing this review with immense frustration and disappointment after Tree Tech completely destroyed and butchered the protected live oak trees on my property. What I hired them for was a professional, proper trimming; what I received was an act of arboricultural vandalism that has left my property irrevocably damaged. Here are the facts of my experience: Disregard for Protected Status: I explicitly informed the company, and it was noted in our contract, that the trees are protected live oaks subject to local ordinances. The crew on site completely ignored this, performing severe, damaging "topping" and "lion-tailing" practices that are universally condemned by professional arborists and often illegal for protected species. Lack of Certification/Expertise: It became immediately clear their team lacked the presence of an International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) certified arborist as advertised. A certified professional would never have butchered mature trees in this fashion. Property Damage: The work was incredibly sloppy. Beyond the irreparable harm to my trees' health and aesthetics, the crew damaged other plants and left a significant mess of debris scattered across my yard that I had to clean up myself. Unresponsive Management: I attempted to contact the owner/manager immediately to halt the work and discuss the damages. My calls were initially ignored, and subsequent attempts to find a meaningful resolution have been met with shrugged shoulders and a refusal to take ownership of the extensive harm caused, although the final cost was adjusted. The value of the lost shade, privacy, and the sheer age of these magnificent trees cannot be replaced by the minimal "service" provided. This was not just a bad service experience; it was the destruction of a core part of my property's value and ecosystem. I have retained all documentation, including the contract, photos before and after the "service", and have already contacted local authorities regarding the potential violation of protected tree ordinances. I will also be filing formal complaints with the Better Business Bureau (BBB) and local consumer protection agencies. Save yourself the heartache and potential legal trouble. Do not trust your valuable trees or property to this company. Seek out a company that has reputable, ISA-certified professionals onsite during the whole job instead. read more

I am a repeat customer of Tree Tech. Amy and Kinda in the office are AWESOME! They keep you well informed and are genuinely friendly. The crews that are sent out are very timely and do a great job at clean out. Augustine was the site contact for my tree removal. He was very friendly and informative. They break the cost down on the estimate so you can choose what you want done and they even offer a wisdom discount for us older clients. You can't go wrong using this company. There is a reason why they have been serving the Sacramento area for so long. They take great care of their clients, reasonable pricing and value your business. read more

17 years of excellent experiences, I am a repeat customer for sure. I can't say enough great things about Tree Tech. We have large shade trees to maintain. Recently I had the shade trees to clean up plus two dead birch trees to remove. I price checked Tree Tech because this was a big job. They came in $1500 lower than the next estimate. The same certified arborist has completed the estimate all these years, and the crew was on time, hard working and polite. As part of the job, we removed a branch that was hanging over the fence into the neighbor's yard, so the crew had to remove it by entering their backyard. My neighbor said what a beautiful job they did and they couldn't tell the crew had been in their yard. Now, the shade trees are beautifully trimmed without ruining their shape or damaging them. What more could you ask for? Tree Tech is great! read more

We were looking to have two huge oak trees removed from our front yard. I called two companies and got quotes from both. Tree Tech Services came out the same day and quoted us half the price of the other company. They came highly recommended from a family member and I also vetted their quote with a friend who does tree removal in another town. Once we decided to have the trees removed, I called and was able to schedule the tree removal for just two days later. The day of the tree removal, they were on time, polite and worked fast. They did a fantastic job removing the two large trees. They did not leave a mess and I couldn't be happier. I highly recommend them! read more

The service was prompt, and their follow-through was excellent. I was always able to speak to someone when I called the office. The arborist communicated effectively and called me when he arrived at the property. The work was performed as scheduled, and the cutting team was a pleasure to deal with, leaving the area clean afterward. I found their pricing to be reasonable, which made the service even more appealing. I will continue to use them for future jobs. read more

Once again Tree Tech delivered excellent service. The crew was on time and worked carefully, trimming multiple trees. Cleanup in my yard and neighbors yards was very good. My compliments to the crew for their skill and knowledge. This is the second time i have used Tee Tech. Great Job! read more

Quick response for tree trimming service. Citrus trees were trimmed and they even removed fruit from branches before disposal. Cleaned up all the debris from yard and patio. All the employees were professional, friendly and listened to my input. read more

Very disappointed with the service. The person who came out said they couldn't reach high enough to trim the canopy over the pool and roof--apparently due to equipment limitations. It's frustrating because we didn't need an extreme trim, just the minimum to balance weight and stop leaves from constantly falling into the pool and onto the roof. Even more disappointing, the person who gave the quote wasn't there to guide the work, which led to poor communication and a job that felt half-done. Would not recommend based on this experience. read more

On time professional estimate and work crew with great equipment made the work quick and clean. Fantastic customer service start to finish. 5 Thank you read more

Not only were they quick and flexible for scheduling the estimate, they were incredibly understanding when we got stuck for several weeks in scheduling while waiting for our neighbors to move the boat in their front yard. lol And when we were ready to schedule the actual tree trimming, the appointment was within a couple of days of that call (I was expecting a week or two) - and the appointment itself was fast, and efficient. The tree is in great shape, and there was negligible debree left to deal with. (As in, a bit of sawdust in the lawn, and a few more leaves on the ground than normal - we didn't need to actually do any cleaning afterwards.) I'm definitely keeping their number in my address book for next year. :-) read more

This happened during our last horrible windy, rainy weather! It was frightening, my trees had fallen on my house, between the homes, and on my neighbors home!! I called 7am, Kinda was on it. She was ready to send help immediately. Yet I told her neither roofs of the homes were damaged. Tree Tech Services arrived 48hrs later and removed trees down to the stump. Then Tree Tech Services followed up with tree stump removal! Both jobs left the backyard spotless of tree debris. Ive been having Tree Tech Services trim my trees every two years for past 10 years. The company is of high quality and very affordable. read more

We've been repeat customers of Tree Tech for years. They help keep our mature "heritage" trees maintained, as well as others in our landscape. It's easy to take good work for granted and NOT post a review. But Augustine's crew just left and did such a stellar job (once again), that we had to give them a shout out. They are knowledgable, polite, on time, hard-working -- and very pleasant people. I used to get really stressed out when anyone was around my trees with a chain saw, but I know I can fully trust them -- and someone like Augustine who makes sure you and the crew are on the same page when it comes to which branches you might want removed. They also don't seem to mind when my husband and I tend to "hover" while they work. (At a safe distance, of course.) In short, they are a pleasure to have do work for us, and we feel their price is fair and reasonable. They are the first people we recommend if anyone we know asks for tree work referrals. read more

Excellent service especially with shaping and trimming over a dozen of my trees. I could not stand the flowering plum every year dropping fruits in front of my house. I bought it because it was not suppose to bear fruit only flowers. Looks absolutely beautiful! I'm so happy. I highly recommend this company to everyone. Great price too. Thank you so much!!!!!! read more

We had a positive experience hiring Tree Tech Services to remove a tree, grind two tree stumps, and prune another tree. Magnificent climber for a very challenging tree. Guys were careful about my garden under the tree. Appreciated everyone's use of safety gear. read more

We have used Tree Tech for many years and we would never use a different company! We use them to prune and maintain our beautiful shade trees, as well as removing those that are no longer viable due to age, etc. Recently we lost 4 cypress trees that were blown over by the 1/8 storm ( they took out our fence and landed on the neighbor's house !), leaving a huge root ball system that needed to be ground out/ removed so that we may proceed with fence replacement. Lew, our arborist with Tree Tech worked with our schedule to make sure tat this was done promptly, despite the overwhelming amount of work the tree companies had at that time. Our trees are such an important investment and we trust no one for this but Lew and Tree Tech. Their prices are fair and honest! Susan R. read more

I own an investment home in Sacramento CA and had a large tree in the front yard of my property that was in dire need of trimming for its branches covered the driveway and would hit the roofs of cars that were parked there. Having a property management company that managed my property I naturally asked them if they could look into getting someone out to trim the tree back to the size it was in the Zillow listing from 2018. My property manager sent "Tree Tech Services" a picture and description of what I wanted the tree to look like after it was TRIMMED. I received the estimate and gave the go ahead to do the work. When I got a photo of the tree after, I was SHOCKED -- it had been butchered and cut so far back it will now take years for it to come back and create shade again. I was and am still Pissed at how INCOMPETENT this company is !! It is the hight of summer and the only shade that I had in the front was from this tree -- WHY WOULD I ASK TO HAVE IT CUT TO THE STUMP? -- I would NOT -- They are idiots !!. Seeing that I have several properties in Sacramento I will NEVER use or even consider using these idiots for any of them. They don't listen to the customer and don't THINK about what they are doing, Hummmm -- Maybe I should not cut this tree all the way back to the stump, or maybe I should call to verify that's what the owner wanted ?? Don't waste your time with such unprofessional, incompetent, idiots that are "Tree Tech Services" read more

Professional, timely, and did a great job. I highly recommend this company. I have used them several times over the past 10 years.

I had to get palm trees trimmed. Remove dead leaves. Good customer service, job well done. Recommended

Tree Tech removed 4 trees in front of our house and a stump that the former owners left. At the last minute I asked them to take out a rose bush which they did readily. They were fabulous to work with...they came out as promised and on time. I got a couple of bids and their's was the best price as well. I didn't notice a large bush that is dead that I would have asked them to take out so I guess I will be calling them again. Highly recommended! read more

If I could give 10 stars, I would! This business is wonderful from Kinnda and Amy in the office to Miguel and his staff trimming the trees. I have no trees on my property, but my neighbors sure have them with overhang on all sides. Drove me nuts! Tree Tech came out, trimmed everything, cleaned up and I'm so impressed! I will recommend them to all my friends. read more

Needed a large diseased tree removed, and contacted 3 tree service companies for estimates after which we selected Tree Tech services. Selection based on cost and recommendations from neighbors. The estimates was the lowest for the same work required from all vendors, and they were able to get the work done before the others. Agustin and his crew arrived on time and started to work immediately in a very safe and efficient manner, and even helped me load the wood in my truck. They had all of the equipment needed and used it effectively and timely. The job took all day, and on completion the crew did a great job of cleaning up. I would highly recommend Tree Tech to do great work. read more

I asked Tree Tech to remove a tree from my front yard. They came within a few days of calling and gave me the best quote I had received by far. I asked them to schedule the same day. We hired Tree Tech to remove four trees. They were supposed to grind the stumps, but they were so covered with wood chips that we now have to pay someone else to remove two of them. It was pretty expensive and now we know the job wasn't completed. read more

Informed arborist recommended no trimming was needed. Very pleased with service. Have observed their work, very efficient.

Unfortunately like others, I can't rate their actual work, this is on professionalism, they don't answer their phones during business hours nor do they return voicemails, so don't waste your time. If they're busy that's fine, still common courtesy to potential clients should be taken into account, even just disabling voicemail and having a message that says your services are full, etc, don't string people along and then ghost people, really a bad practice in the business world. read more

I have used tree tech 5 times over the years. Every time the crew arrived on time and ready to work. They do an excellent job and clean up afterwards. They chip the tree stumps the best. They go below the ground from 6 inches to 1 foot so that grass seed grows well after adding soil to the hole. They are knowledgeable when they prune my large oak and maple trees, the trees respond well to the pruning. There equipment works well and seems to be well maintained.
