Started out a bit slow because I messaged them for a quote and they responded requesting my number which I provided. I waited a week and never heard from them so I called instead and scheduled a date for an estimate which was a week out. They provided excellent customer service once I reached someone. There's only one person handling the phone calls and scheduling etc. so there was a lot of phone tag going on. Don't let that stop you from using their service. They were friendly and quick and got the actual job done the next morning after the estimate. They don't overcharge either because I got a quote from another company and it was crazy expensive more than doubled the price I paid stumpman. Taking down large trees is not an easy feat, or cheap process, but Jose's team orchestrated the task flawlessly and beat 3 of his competitors in price. He was pleasant, professional and communicative. The two month wait to get on his schedule was worth it. I highly recommend. The job was to remove a dead pine, all its wood and debris, plus grind the stump. Also, to remove and haul all limbs from a redwood, about 80' tall, and take down the trunk to approximately 15', leaving any large rounds. They completed everything, and cleaned up the area nicely. Working with Stumpman is a no-nonsense experience. You're not going to get some polished customer service experience, but you are going to get exactly what you want - tree maintenance and stump removal. We have used stumpman twice in the past and received good service at a fair price. Recently we got approval to remove a huge valley oak on our property. My husband and I decided to reach out to stumpman for a quote since we had good experiences with them in the past. The quote that came back was literally 3 times what other companies are charging us. I was shocked seeing as how usually their estimates have been fair. This leads me to believe 1. They didn't want the job and instead of just admitting that to us they gave a ridiculous quote. 2.
