We recently had Valley Tree Solutions come out and top 4 of my Cottonwood and clean out some branches in the other Cottonwood, trim some dead branches out of a birch and Chinese Pistach plus remove a flowering plus. The 2 guys that came out were very friendly and knew what the trees were I wanted topped unlike a guy that thought they were poplar. They gave us a fair price so we decided to go with them. He applied for a permit from the city to do the job, which required a certified arborist, then just stopped replying to phone calls, texts and emails from me and the city arborist. I reached him weeks later and he said his arborist quit, so since he couldn't do the job, he just stopped replying. Completely unprofessional. Do not work with this company. read more

Company came to the door twice advertising their work which I admire. Even though I usually work with another company I decided to give them a shot. Communication was not good, unfortunately. I was told they would arrive between 7-7:30AM. 9AM rolled around so I gave a call and they're like, yeah we'll be there around 11AM. At 12:15PM a few guys showed up and just hung out on the front lawn for an hour. Around 1:30PM I finally heard some power tools, the work itself was OK (pruning and crown reduction). I was pleased with the price, about $500 dollars better than another quote I had. I understand other jobs run late and the guys may have needed a break, but again, communication. They never let me know they were here or anything, never called to say they were hours behind, and just answer the phone by saying "hello", so I didn't even know if I had the company number, a bit unprofessional in my opinion. They were also unable to provide me with a receipt for service. read more
