High praise for Titan. Rob, their arborist, is an expert on trees and knows his business. We have three 100 year old Diodar cedars and a mature tulip tree that Titan has worked on annually for the last decade or so. The crew is unfailingly professional, very careful managing the drop around our home, and conscientious about the health and beauty of our trees. They show up on time and work safely and efficiently, making sure the job is done right. The owner, Tim, even shows up to assist and advise his capable crew. As with most tree professionals, Titan is not inexpensive...but they are worth it if you want the job done right and your trees to remain healthy, safe, and beautiful. I highly recommend. read more

Thank you Team Titan!!! We had a phenomenal experience working with Titan Tree Service! We first met the owner, Tim Dailey, at the Sacramento Landscape Show, and his impressive credentials and clear communication immediately instilled confidence. We were pleasantly surprised when his bid came in the lowest of the three estimates we received! The day of the removal was nothing short of amazing. The team arrived promptly and worked with incredible efficiency and friendliness. As a retired educator, I (Shannon) was so impressed watching them that I told the guys they are exactly the kind of professionals who should be at the very top of the list of invitees for Career Day. Watching them tackle eight trees--including three 60-foot redwoods and a 70-foot ash--was a masterclass in STEM skills. Their skilled assessment of physics, gravity and angles was supreme. As we watched them throughout the day we were struck by their strong team dynamic and highly collaborative approach. With a very hands-on owner leading the charge, this team's 'divide and conquer' approach made a massive job look easy. These tree specialists are superheroes in our book, and we cannot recommend them highly enough! read more

Titan Tree Service did a great job removing a dead tree from our front yard with grinding the stump. They did a clean job with reasonable price. Highly recommended! read more

Honest, generous, and genuinely knowledgeable. After our trees were burned, I was really worried about them and called Titan Tree Service for an assessment. Ben came out, took his time walking through everything with me, and explained what he was seeing. He easily could have sold us removals or treatments, but instead he told us the trees were fine as they are and that the best approach was to wait and see how they recover. When I offered to pay him for his time, he wouldn't accept it. He was kind, patient, and clearly more interested in giving good advice than making a sale. That kind of honesty is rare, and it's exactly why he'll be the first call we make when our trees do need work. Highly recommend. read more

Outstanding experience from the estimate (which was prompt and lower than the other bids) to scheduling to execution! The guys were personable and knowledgeable a new one to check in with me and reviewed their work. Several employees have been municipal Arborists. Everything was clean and all the debris was taken away. read more

We had a great experience with them. Seemed knowledgeable and skilled. I will call them again when needed.

Prompt and very clear about what needed to be done and what didn't need to be done. Really honest!

Unfortunately, we had a very disappointing experience with Titan Tree Services. Our written quote clearly stated that the lower portion of the tree would remain untouched for privacy (there are obvious cuts that we did not do), and that the upper portion would be lightly pruned to reduce leaf drop on our neighbor's roof and our carport (we paid for this service, not our neighbor). Instead, the tree was severely overcut--left lopsided, sparse in the center, and no longer functioning as a privacy screen. When we raised these concerns, the owner responded defensively and dismissively via email, claiming large cuts were needed--contradicting what was agreed upon in the quote and what we asked for. While we believe the crew on-site worked hard, the result was unacceptable and the tree now looks unbalanced and unhealthy. We paid the full amount, but in our opinion, the owner's lack of accountability and unwillingness to provide a resolution make it clear they don't stand by their work. We won't be using them again, and if you care at all about the health or appearance of your trees, we strongly suggest you look elsewhere. read more

The group that came to work on my backyard valley oak did a great job. They were friendly and courteous and answered all my questions. They cleaned up really well and even did some extra things. Highly recommend. read more

Really amazing work and customer service! Would definitely use again and would recommend without reservation.

The arborist evaluated my trees and the team did a beautiful job on my Japanese maple. They gave great tips on dealing with pest issues and how to correctly water the trees. Will call them again. read more

I had Titan tree service come out again to remove some invasive wisteria from a neighbor's backyard that was coming over to our side via the telephone/internet wires as well as trim back another tree and uproot a different tree. They were quick, courteous, and got the job done perfectly. The arborists they were with are knowledgeable and they know how to get things done correctly. read more

Tim was a great guy and cares a lot about about the safety of his crew and those passing by while he is in working. He was so kind and cautious for us during the multiple interactions we had today! These guys work so hard and were dangling up giant redwood trees at our school (Chamberlain)! Other people were passing over the cones and not paying attention, I'm sure that distraction can stress these guys out considering how high up they are and how big these tree limbs were when they were being lowered so carefully down! It was pretty cool to watch too, but we had to be a safe distance away! Unfortunately, later in the day they were cutting the trees near the main walkway and some people were annoyed that they had to walk around the long way to get to their car (it takes one minute longer). These guys kept us all safe and were the real deal professionals! Thanks Tim and all of Titan Tree Service! read more

I own 2 acres of beautiful old trees, I called Titan because I wanted to prune and shape and lift the trees for health and to maintain the trees along with safety for winter. 2 tree arborists carefully addressed about 11 trees and collaborated with me throughout the process. The trees all look fantastic and well shaped. Every thing was stellar service literally top to bottom. Skyler was fantastic with knowledge and Tim the owner, an arborist came out throughout the day to check progress and share guidance . You can trust your trees to them. Great team work with all involved. read more

Titan tree service is a very professional throughout the process from the quote to the trimming of the tree and the billing process. We have two large oak trees, one in our backyard that is close to a sound wall, our garage and house and one on the side of our house that hangs over our neighbors property. They trimmed both trees to our liking, cleaned up more than what they needed to (which they stated to me they like to leave the property better than how they found it) and even moved a family of praying mantis from the trimmed branches to our plants . The price was one of the best quotes we received and the billing and payment was very simply. Highly recommend Titan! read more

I've had Titan out a couple times to trim and or remove trees. They have always been responsive, helpful, and on time. The best part is that they chip all the removed material on site and haul it away. There is no mess to clean up afterwards and my trees look great. read more

If you're looking for a professional tree service with real arborists who do a great job at a reasonable price look no further. I highly recommend them for tree trimming diagnosis of tree ailments or anything tree related . read more

Highly recommend these pros for your arborist needs. They operate with integrity and don't upsell you work you won't need. I had 2 other companies out to look at an issue and they each said I needed to remove the tree in question (because they wanted the work). Titan came out and said I could definitely work with the tree and save it. This tree is very important for shade, so this was great news to us. They did this and still took the time to answer follow up questions over the phone despite not getting anything out of it, as I need to call a landscaping company to make the suggested alterations. Call these folks first for your arborist needs. read more

Titan Tree Service did a fantastic job pruning the two large Modesto Ash trees in our front yard. The crew was careful not to damage the plants that surround the trees, and even gave some free advice for other trees on our property. Rob came out right on time and gave us some very helpful information about our cedar juniper. Great company!

Titan Tree Services has been helping us out with our needs in the backyard for almost 2 years now and we have been very happy with their work. They guarantee all that they do and even replaced a tree at reduced cost for one of the trees that broke that they had serviced in the past. It has been great working with Tim, Rob and crew and would recommend their work to anyone that needs some tree help for their home. Thanks guys! read more

WOW WHAT A GREAT, HONEST COMPANY! My neighbor referred Titan Tree to us, we were concerned that we would have to remove a huge Valley Oak that another company said WE DID NEED to have removed. It wasn't just the cost of removal but we were heartbroken to remove such a magnificent tree. Rob came out (free estimate) and quickly being a professional arborist determined that the tree in fact DID NOT NEED TO BE REMOVED! It only needed to be mulched around the root area. I am so impressed with this company, Rob is fantastic and Donna the office manager is amazing. We haven't had the pleasure to personally meet the owner Tim Dailey, but all I can say is he sets the standard of how a honest, ethical, Professional business should be run. Don't settle for any other Tree Service. We will be referring Titan Tree to EVERYONE we know! read more

We had Titan out to come evaluate a large corkscrew willow tree. Unfortunately the tree was diseased and needed to be removed. Titan Tree Service is excellent, they evaluated our trees (1 was dying). They arrived when they promised, Removed 2 large trees, ground the stumps down and replanted 2 - 15gal Trident Maples all in 3 hours. They were kind and polite, answered all our questions before they started and left us with instructions on how to care for the 2 new trees. The price was right and they left the area clean of all tree trash. I highly recommend Titan. read more

My excellent arborist moved out of state, so this is the first time in six years I have had to find a new tree service. After getting a few consultations and quotes, I felt comfortable enough with Titan to give the company a try. The results were excellent. - Titan was quick to respond to appointment / quote requests; - The consulting arborist, Rob, arrived on time, was friendly and professional, and took the time to answer all of my questions; - On the day of the job, the three-person crew (Dave, Mo, and Dave) arrived within the scheduling window. - They were careful with the plants and lighting installations that I pointed out to them; - They did a thorough job of trimming back dead weight on the tree, but also made sure that it retained its nice, natural look; and - The crew took the time to clean up conscientiously. I am happy with the results, and plan to request Titan's help again in the Fall for my other tree needs. read more

I requested a review of my large oak tree in the front yard to see if any pruning was necessary before the leaves begin to drop and winter weather kicks in. i.e. trying to be proactive vs. reactive. Historically, I've had my tree cleaned out w/some limbs cut back or out every 2-3 years give or take. I contacted Titan in combination of prior reviews and staffing of certified arborists. Rob came out. We had great conversation. He further educated me on habits and traits of oak trees. All said and done, he said there was no need to do any pruning at this time. After just being told "there's always something to prune", I truly appreciated the honesty. They are here for the customer's best interest and not out to just get a buck. In light of a recent review - I also asked hypothetically what the cost might be to prune a tree of this size. The assumption has always been, when the tree grows, the price goes up. The estimated figure provided was less than what I paid three years ago so their pricing is well within reason. I will contact Titan again next year to reassess my tree as again, this is a routine process I choose to stay on top of vs. an insurance claim (or insurance companies now cancelling folks over tree limbs...) Thank you Rob! I've kept your card in a safe place :-) read more

I have used Titan before and really liked them. I trusted that they would use their knowledge and experience about the best way to trim trees. This last estimate however, was perplexing. I had them come out, they gave me a HUGE dollar value to trim 1 largish tree and 5 smaller trees. One thousand dollars! When I balked a bit, magically the price went down to 700. I did not appreciate this at all. I am really bummed about this. I trusted them, and now, not so much. read more

Fast, professional, and easy automated process. I was able to manage most of the process without ever speaking to anyone in-person which was a huge plus in today's environment. I've had a total of four tree management services quote out this project for me... Titan came in at half the price with twice the ease. Thanks for cutting back all the tree. It's great seeing the sun in my backyard. Hopefully I won't have to see you guys for a few years, but I'll definitely be back for future service! -Lauren W in Rancho Cordova read more

Tim and the Titan crew are amazing. From the initial contact and estimating, to scheduling and reminders, to the removal and cleanup, every person in the company was helpful, polite and respectful. We had a difficult project with large trees and tight access to the yard. The crew were careful to place vehicles and equipment to avoid inconveniencing us or our neighbors. The workplace was clean and tidy at end of day and the yard was left in better condition than when they arrived. All the work was completed in minimum amount of time at a very reasonable price. I wish we had this kind of service with other contractors. Thanks again Tim. read more

An excellent job trimming my lopsided sycamore that was hanging over my neighbor's parking area. We had a 4" limb come down (fortunately into my yard) at the last wind. Titan trimmed out all the dead and dying wood, opened the crown, cut back the threats to my neighbor's cars, and removed some ugly stubs that had been left by some long-ago butchery. They didn't over-trim to protect from sun scald. They even shredded a very large pile of trimmings that we did yesterday to a tree in the backyard. Price was the lowest of 4 bids I got - one bid was 3 times what Titan charged. This is a great company with people who know and care about trees. Can't recommend highly enough. read more

Titan did a great job of trimming our pepper tree (along with trimming the roots back), removing a small tree, and doing some stump grinding for a tree that fell last winter during the big storm. What I loved about them is that they had a certified arborist come out and give me the estimate. This allowed me to ask all sorts of questions and know that the answers I'd get would be from someone who knows trees. The staff back at their office were friendly and made the process of scheduling the appointment easy. The day they arrived, they were here on time. The crew was professional and very knowledgeable. The guy I spoke with was about ready to get his certification as an arborist. They explained everything they were going to do and made sure to clean up after they were done. Now that they've completed the work, our backyard looks like it has more space. In terms of the estimate, they were a little bit more than the other vendors, but after seeing how they operate, I'm glad we went with Titan. It was well worth the money. read more

Rob Cain came out to do a free estimate on humongous palm trees just a few feet away from my apartment. I arranged an appointment about a week in advance, got a text reminder and he called a half hour before arriving. Prompt and reliable. Rob assured me palms are nothing to be worried about except for their fronds. So impressed with his knowledge and reliability. Unfortunately the trees in question are owned by the city of Sacramento so was unable to hire Titan to do any work. read more

WOW, wow, wow. What an amazing, acrobatic tree removal by Tim and his crew. We had a rare Australian Bunya Bunya Pine Tree that unfortunately had to be removed due to safety issues. It was huge, maybe 100ft tall, with massive 10 pound pine cones that can grow to nearly 20 pounds. The entire tree, leaves, branches and cones are covered with thorns. What a feat! They masterfully and systematically took down our beloved tree with skill, grace and dignity. Amazingly, it was removed within 5 hours. The skill and mastery was unmatched. Titan made the entire experience and getting the permits seamless. The clean up was spotless. Please call them for your tree needs. Nice people, skilled workers and an overall outstanding job. Thank you Tim and crew! read more

Long story short, I had a few trees removed and raised with Titan Tree Service a few months back. I won't call out any one and won't reference any particular work order because I know Titan Tree Service knows exactly which work order it is but I will add, it was by luck at the last minute I decided to stop by the site to take a look. Let's just say the trees that were removed initially were not on the work order. Pros -Responsive for the most part especially the admin folks. -Short estimate wait times. -Timeliness. -The Arborist was responsive initially but then stopped responding altogether (con as well), so I ended up having to email and correspond with admin thereafter. -Organized for the most part. -Reasonably priced. Cons -Booked far out. - The Arborist, was responsive initially but then stopped responding altogether, so I ended up having to email and correspond with admin thereafter. -Wrong trees were removed and raised. -Did not remove a tree that was supposed to be removed, instead the tree was cut to surface. Now the tree is growing again. -A smaller tree was to be removed also but it looked like they didn't put any effort and rushed through it (because they removed the wrong trees initially and now behind schedule) and instead ran the tree over with an equipment or some sort because the tree split in all different directions at the trunk. read more
