Our job required the removal of 7 Cypress trees (approximately 60 feet each) and their stumps and 4 miscellaneous shrub stumps to be removed. We received bids from other tree companies and because their online reviews were phenomenal, we asked Bailey Tree Company to bid as well. From first phone call, initial meet and bid and to accepting the bid, everyone working for Bailey Tree Company were polite, knowledgeable, had personalities and overall in general, appeared to be a happy employee. Personalities, attitudes and price got Bailey Tree Company this job. The entire job took 2 full days of cutting and removing debris from the back yard to the front yard, a few hours of stump removal and less than an hour for tree trunk and limb removal - they were too big to go into shredder. Every single employee was personable, professional, and polite. They arrived a few minutes prior to starting time, worked diligently and did an impeccable job cleaning up every single day they were there. Kathy and Jaime were diligent with their calls informing us of start times, what was going to be done and who to call if we had questions or concerns. All around, this company is PHENOMENAL! We had a number of problem trees on our property, and Bailey was recommended to us by friends who had used their services. We got on the schedule for an estimate quite promptly, and we went over the 4 trees and remains of a yucca that we needed removed. The estimate was quite reasonable considering the scope of the work (a large blue oak and a palm that required some delicate removal tactics due to their proximity to the house and pool). It took a while for them to get to us due to the holidays, but in due course the trees were removed with a minimum of mess and hassle (other than the pool which understandably got rather dirty thanks to the large palm tree right next to it). They did a great job of cleaning up after the removal and stump grinding. There were a few issues with communications (i.e. the crew did not know about 2 trees that were supposed be removed from the front yard) but in the end we were satisfied with the results and the price. I would not hesitate to recommend Bailey, but I would emphasize that you need to be very clear about what you want and make sure that it shows up correctly on the estimate and the invoice - something you should always do in any case! read more

I was quoted an extremely fair price for the amount of work involved. Less than 1/2 the price of the other guys! When Jeremiah told me the job would be complete in 3 days, I didn't believe him. No way were they going to remove 6, 100' tall trees AND grind stumps in 3 days. Well, much to my disbelief, the job was complete in 2 1/2 days! Maybe I got lucky, or maybe these guys know what they're doing. I am so impressed with this company and the crews working for them. Everyone did a GREAT job! The crew was fast and efficient and really worked together as a team. They kicked butt on my trees. When all was said and done and my gate was going back up (had to be moved out of the way to access the trees in the back) they even fixed my gate and made it better! The gate used to drag and grind where the fence sagged. I know it's just a little thing but isn't it the little things that make us so happy in life. :) All the staff were knowledgable and friendly and helpful. You can tell they really love what they do and enjoy helping customers. Today, a hardworking, careful team from Bailey Tree Company trimmed several very large trees at my duplex. I really appreciated the work of team leader Nazario, with helpers Daniel and Agustin. These people were thinking while they worked. Nazario noticed that I had just painted my duplex, so he told his men to be careful not to hit the walls as they carried the discarded branches to the shredder and he moved garbage cans and other items out of the way to create a clear path. All three of the men worked as a team to trim the trees and clean up afterwards. No one wasted time. One accidently stepped on a sprinkler head, he let me know and then was able to reattach it. He went the next step, without me having to ask, to test it out before leaving the job. They were on the job on time, were careful to go over the job with me prior to starting, made sure I was happy with what they were doing as the job progressed, and left the place in excellent order. We used Bailey Tree Company in 2016, and it was time to trim our three large trees again. Ted came out to look at the project and give us an estimate. He also checked in with us to ensure we got on the schedule. On Monday, July 2, 2024 (one of the hottest days of the summer), the 3-man team arrived just before 8:30 a.m. We did a quick walk-around to emphasize where we felt we needed the most work done. Then, the team got to work. Except for a short lunch break, this team worked constantly until about 3:00 p.m. (I'll admit to retreating to the air-conditioned home office). The team completed trimming the two trees in the backyard to perfection and cleaning the debris and twigs. They were back the next day at 8:30 a.m. and finished up on the tree in the front yard by 10:30 a.m. They did a great job of cleaning up after the project. We love working with Bailey Tree. They worked on three of our properties this year and did an outstanding job on all of them. Jennifer who came out and provided quotes is so friendly and easy to work with and got back to us quickly. One of the jobs had extensive pruning and Jennifer showed up on the day of and made sure the crew knew exactly what they were doing. The crew knew I was concerned about maintaining privacy along the back fence and they let me provide feedback as they pruned. On our personal residence we had a huge piece of deadwood hanging over our walkway and Jennifer got someone out the same day to take care of it. The crews were fast, efficient, thorough and left the yards immaculate. From trimming smaller shade trees, to removing trees and grinding stumps, to pruning our heritage sycamore they have done it all for us and we are always pleased with the results. read more

Bailey Tree Company was Very good to deal with and their knowledgability and commitment to their work. In our case they trimmed a tree, so that: 1. it wouldn't harm the tree and 2. it could take a great deal of weight (up to 2 tons, much more than we weigh). Additionally they identified a tree that was in an area where it wouldn't thrive (on a little cliff), and hence removed it, in addition to 2 trees we wanted removed (a stump of an old citrus tree that was sprouting, and another tree that was in the way). They could identify most plants in our backyard (there are many native plants), and were able to tell us how they were beneficial, and that most didn't need any short-term pruning (even though this obviously means less work for them). I would not hesitate to recommend Bailey Tree Company....or have them come out again to do work on our yard. They were great!!!! read more

Pricey, but the best rate I found for the work I need done correctly and insured. Flexible payment options. Impressed that Tom Bailey himself came out to do the quote. He was willing to negotiate a bit and even gave us options to keep the price down. We were trimming down a giant walnut tree that was full of mistletoe and other stuff I can't ID, removing an apple (keeping the stump for a bench support), trimming some small and large citrus, trimming a Japanese maple and palm. Took 1 whole day and 2 part days. They left my yard cleaner than when they arrived. Everyone was pleasant. My friend wanted the giant pile of wood and they happily left it neatly stacked. We had been trimming the palm ourselves before it was past the roofline and they cleaned up the entire trunk so it was uniform. Great service. Would definitely use again. read more

My Boyfriends parents used bailey this last week and was amazed at the professionalism and eye to detail that the exhibited. I remember what the trees looked like and wow with them gone i can now go out in the back yard. I have them scheduled to remove a large tree and trim out a couple in my back yard, ill keep you updated to how they work out for me. My boyfriends mother made me use them and i will. She said i had to also give them a review for her because she is up in age. I have used other tree and landscape companies in the past and its really hard to find a good company these days. I do all the research for my boyfriends parents and BAILEY'S seem to be one of the few with such the rating's i would use and trust for my other family members to use. Very professional from office to on the ground workers. Obtained four bids on the project and Bailey was the best. Estimate sent via email and I was able to sign off electronically. Once I signed off, received a call within 24 hours from the office to set the date of the service. The only hiccup was on the date of the service, the crew arrived only to realize it did not have the proper equipment to tackle the very large tree with the very dense mistletoe. Office immediately called and relayed the issue and rescheduled for the first thing the next day. Crew arrived on time and completed the job. Clean up was superb. My neighbor (whose property was partly affected by the tree trimming project) was also very impressed. He is considering Bailey for some tree work on his property. I had two, very tall, very dead pines in the backyard. Power lines ran between them. I called four companies, including Bailey's, to get a price. Two companies never showed, one company handwrote a price on a scrap piece of paper, and Bailey's, the ONLY company that had a physical person to answer the phone (versus a "leave a message") like the others. Baileys emailed the cost, I gave the okay. They did exactly what they said...and the cleanup was better than I expected. Not a pine needle to be found. I was blown away. They were 100% professional! Because I don't believe that a company this professional happens in a vacuum...meaning, that kind of professionalism is borne of consistency...I would have a very skeptical eye on any review that stated that they were less than 100% GREAT! I can not say enough good things about our experience with this company. They were recommended to us through the Home Advisor website. We had 3 estimates and Bailey was the best. They were worth every penny! We had 4 Palm Trees removed, 1 of them was gigantic. 3 guys did the job and worked harder and more diligently than I ever expected. Although there was a mishap with the fence, it was immediately and expertly repaired. Very Impressive. Great Communication with the Office Staff and Removal and Stump Grinding were seamless. Bailey Tree Company was awesome! After being flaked on by another company, I called Bailey, desperate to get the job done quickly because I had company coming on the weekend. Kathy in the office was professional, pleasant and super responsive. She was able to get a crew scheduled in just a few days. They did a great job on my three beautiful queen palms, but I wanted them thinned a bit more and wished that they had taken more leaves off. So when I called Kathy to see if they could come back by, she didn't skip a beat and had a crew come by that afternoon to make the job perfect. Chris and his crew were terrific and were in an out in 20 minutes that time. Definitely would recommend this company. As always, Bailey offers great services at a fair price. Their crew is skilled, efficient and friendly and there is always someone on the team that speaks good English to help translate any nuances of the job I brought up like.. "can we cut that a bit more". My only lukewarm comment would be the cleanup. While my property is pretty "untamed"..not manicured at all, I felt the boys stopped short of what they should/could have done and have done in the past...there was obvious debris from the job that was not raked up and many areas including my walkway that didn't get a final "blow" so it was clean Not a big deal and I'm sure that would not have happened on a "pretty" site, but just a thought. Bailey Tree was terrific from beginning to end. The office staff was polite, personable, and efficient. The estimator was helpful in determining the best approach and the workers followed the contract explicitly. The work included removing a magnificent date palm tree that had been planted too close to a pool. It showed thirty years growth, so was tall, with a base trunk more than a yard in diameter. The men continued to clear the debris from the pool as they worked. They also cleared dead tree limbs and reduced many shrubs front and back. The price was reasonable and the personal interaction of the estimator and me much more professional and knowledgeable than that of another company from which I requested an estimate. read more
