Trang is really good at what she does. She will give you really good advice about what kind of extensions you should get for the look that you want and for the type of lashes that you have. She is also very sweet and will try to accomodate your schedule if possible. The lashes last on average 5 weeks for me. If you're looking to try lash extensions, you won't be disappointed with Trang. Just remember though that your lashes may not do well with all types of lash extensions, but like I said before Trang will give you advice before getting your lash extensions. My advice is to DEFINITELY avoid lash salons. They hire multiple beauticians who may or may not be good at what they do. Trust me, you do not want someone to mess up on your lashes. read more

Alright, so I am not one of those reviewers that writes too formal and general about things just for the sake of writing a good sounding review; I'll tell it like it is!! Before I started getting eyelash extensions I had what I like to call "ugly white girl transparent lashes"...you know, the type that if you aren't wearing 3 coats of mascara your eyes look bald. All those blonds out there know exactly what I am talking about.. and if you're saying "no I don't"..welp... than you're a liar! I have been going to Trang for my lash extensions for about two years and this girl is AMAZING!! With my previous lashes, if I would have gone anywhere else they would have told me to dye them first but Trang is so good she could go without. I LITERALLY GET COMPLIMENTS EVERY SINGLE DAY ABOUT HOW GOOD MY LASHES LOOK!! I have been to other places before Trang and 1) they do not look as full and voluminous when you are done and 2) they only last 2weeks because they use very weak glue to get you to come back sooner. I have literally gone 3-4months before even considering coming back for a refill. I repeat....the glue she uses LITERALLY MAKES THEM STAY ON FOREVER!! You do not have to worry about not washing your face for 24hours or not putting on mascara. You can go in the shower...pool...ocean....and probably OUTER SPACE and they still look amazing! Trang is the best there is when it comes to lash extensions. She customizes them to the shape of your eye to create the most appealing look for you. This is great because she will accentuate the shape of your eye to make even white girls have amazing contour. That's right white girls...her extensions even look great on us!! She is super meticulous and doesn't even miss one of my little blond lashes. I went from having see through lashes to never having to wear mascara....EVER! I cannot say enough good things about how awesome she is! I really do get comments EVERY DAY about my lashes. So I waited awhile to write this review because I wanted to see how long the ext would last. I got the lash ext on 3/13/11 and they lasted up until now. If you care for them well, they will last a long time. I've been so busy and haven't had time for a touch up so next appt I'm going to have to do the full set again, which I don't really mind. She offers her services at very reasonable prices, is very easy to work with (schedules can be tough in this fast-paced world nowadays but she works with them), and does a fantastic job! For the second time, I went "big" and I fell in love (became addicted - it's hard not to when they look so great and feel like they are not even on). I got my eyelashes did back in January. I wanted to wait and see how long my eyelashes would last before I put up a review. The verdict - lashes are still here! I think she uses super glue!!! Not really, but seriously, they're won't come off!! Even after removing my eye makeup with baby oil! Which is a big no, no too! From what I've read, it breaks down the adhesive!! So don't do it! But in my case, the lashes survived! Anywho, she's awesome!!! And to comment on the lashes when they were first done, BEAUTIFUL and LONG!!! I love them!! They're not as full as they were when I first got them, but they still look really good!! I am now an addict (as I write, I am reminded that I need to make an appt!!). Yay for Trang! read more

Oh my goodness! My sister encouraged me to enhance my eye lashes with Trang's magic and the results are so amazing. I had my first full set of extensions on 06/11/14 and had my first refill 3 weeks later (though I think I could have waited another week). I love, love, love my eyelashes! Trang is great, professional, and friendly. She takes the time to perfect your lashes and performs with precision and good pace. It was a little weird that her business is out of her home but it actually is better so that you have her full focus and there are no distractions. My lashes look very natural and has just enough glam that people do notice and is not overly done. They are very comfortable and I don't even notice that they are there. I got my lashes done a few days ago in preparations to go home for the holidays. I was kind of hesitant to do it because I have never done this before. I've tried false lashes and it never works for me because I am horrible at putting it on and mascara never works out with my lashes. I did a lot of research and I could not help it but keep returning to Trang's site. I read over and over again about all the good reviews she got. I look over her website for days. I kept looking up what eyelash extensions were all about and after weeks on looking at it over and over again, I decided on scheduling an appointment with Trang! So after making the appointment, first timers are required to do a $50 deposit which is totally understandable. After that I had a few questions so I emailed Trang and she answered all the questions I needed answering to. There was an email reminding me of the appointment the day before so that was nice. Trang's work area is very peaceful and serene. Right when I got there I was greeted with a smile and I felt at ease and comfortable. She asked if this was my first time, which it was. She was asking how i wanted everything and I really did not know what to say except blurt out whatever I thought lashes should be. "long, thick, pretty lashes?" HAHA. She was great in explaining the different types and she wasted no time and went right to work. I laid down, she taped the bottom lashes down and the extension process started. Trang is great because she is so personable and friendly. I felt very comfortable being it was the first time meeting her. While she worked, we talked. Surprisingly enough, we talked throughout the whole process. There was never an awkward quiet moment. We laughed a lot and joked around and it was over before I knew it. She was very careful and gentle while she worked. After she was done she double checked it to see if everything was perfect. She gave me a mirror to see and I finally had eyelashes! It was AMAZING! She was so nice throughout the whole thing. She kept asking if I liked it and if the length and thickness was alright. It was GREAT overall! I had a little time after so we just talked, she showed me around and I thought that was really nice of her. She's so cute! The only reason why I've decided to go with eyelash extensions was to see if this will work for my upcoming wedding. I've tried false lashes and decided against it because my eyes just couldn't get used to them.. Trang is an expert at what she does. She is so personable and sweet you'll love talking to her. I took Trang's training class and she thoroughly explained the process and background of eyelash extension application. Trang shows you her technique and also dug into her own experiences to offer tips/tricks. She had a model for me to work on and was even able to find a second model with existing extensions for me to work on my lash filling skills. A kit was included in the training and it contains everything you need to get started and it looks like it will last you a long time before you need to buy more supplies. I used to drive over an hour to get my lashes done by a lady out of her home. I loved them because they were low-maintenance, hassel-free and extremely affordable at $30 for refills; it was the perfect compliment to my hectic schedule as an on-air TV host/reporter and small business owner. However, it seemed my eyes were sensitive to the glue and the actual lash extensions. I was getting extensions every 2 weeks! Just when I was about to give up on the eyelash extension concept because of sensitivity, I was referred to Trang. When I contacted her, she responded within minutes. I explained my situation and my crazy schedule. I was shocked and grateful she was willing to accommodate my schedule and see me at my requested time of 6am! Seriously? Who gets up that early for someone? I didn't hesitate to meet her at her apartment, nor did I ever feel uncomfortable as the environment was very calming and relaxing. Although I pay more than twice as much as I used to, my lashes last about 5 weeks. I'm also a competitive kickboxer and my lashes manage to stay-put while sweating and engaging in full contact sparring. I bet my lashes would last longer if I didn't take so many punches to my face! :) I love how Trang's lashes are "fuller, more natural looking" and I don't experience irritation or sensitivity to the lashes or glue. Love love love Trang! I've been going to Trang for about a year now and I wouldn't recommend going anywhere else. Originally, I got my lashes on for the summer last year so I could go camping and not have to wear any make up. I got the lashes taken off in the Fall and started wearing false lashes again. I say once you have lash extensions done, there's no going back to false lashes ever again. I tried to make an appointment in November 2013 but Trang was already booked solid until 2014 because of the holidays. I panicked and found another lash artist who sucked a$$. The whole experience with the other lash artist was horrendous, from the intro, during and after. I went home and booked the next opening that Trang had and have never been happier. She makes the whole experience fun and comfortable. I've tried two other lash artists and their work did not even begin to compare to the results I get with Trang. I'm an Asian mom of three little toddlers. Moms having lash extensions is a must. No mascara or eyelash curlers needed for those days you need to run out in a hurry. As for camping, it's shower and go. I'm ready while it takes the other girls at least an hour to put on their faces. Also for my Asians, the first lash artist I went to was Caucasian.
