Dena is literally one of the best out there! Coming to her has been a serious game-changer. I've been getting my eyelashes done by Dena for over a year now and would probably never switch unless I was moving away. Not only is she one of the friendliest, sweetest, and most accommodating people I've ever met, but she is also utterly professional with an incredibly delicate touch. My classic eyelash extensions can last 3-4 weeks...and probably longer. With classic fills priced super affordably, Dena is not only the best of the best but also does her work at an almost criminally cheap price. I would seriously recommend her to anyone and everyone. These eyelashes have never failed me even when: - Swimming for hours on end - In a super humid environment - Crying for weeks after a breakup I'd give her more stars if possible! read more

I still get my lashes done on a very regular basis and I have no plans on changing. The work and the lashes are unbelievable. I will admit that I am not great at maintaining them on my end, because lately I like to sleep flat on my face. But Dena always comes through to save the day! Still, there are a ton of places I could go that are closer to me or whatever. But I dont think they're worth the change. I've been coming here for a little over 2 years straight for a reason! read more

Dena is the queen. She is always willing to work with me and make sure that my lashes are perfect. She is a great conversationalist, but also very chill and lets me nap on her table. She's just the best! And her lashes slay. Love you Dena! read more

Dena goes out of her way to make sure her clients are happy and provides a meticulous level of detail with applying lashes. I went to see Dena initially a little over a year ago for a full set of lashes. Maybe it was the instant change or a significant difference in the length, but I didn't love them so Dena agreed to remove them the following weekend. Because I'd only had my lashes for a few days, she let me know I could try another set free of charge. She went out of her way to ensure I liked my second set and I couldn't be happier with them. read more

Whoever said "it hurts to be beautiful" has never tried Dena's lash extensions! Just make sure when she tells you to keep your eyes closed, LISTEN to her. Lashes makes a huge difference compared to not having them at all. I have referred her to a people at work and gave away her cards to people I meet who are complimenting about how amazing my lashes look. It really does make a HUGE difference. I am addicted and so is my mom (sorry, not sorry.) That's how good she is. She gives great discounts if you follow her instagram as well as when you refer her to someone. I'm not that much of a make up wearing person during work so I literally just "I woke up like this" when she gives me full lashes at work. I'm pretty picky with any beauty products, but Dena answered all my questions I may have after looking and researching videos on youtube about lash extensions. A couple tips: you need to take care of them! No eye rubbing. Nada. The lashes will fall quicker that way. Dena gives you a sheet of tips and tricks to make your lashes last to their full potential. She also gives you a brush to take home to help take care of your lovely lashes. It really is up to you on how long the extensions will last on your actual lash. But as any hairs you may have they will fall out according to your normal lash cycle. Dena will also tell you when you need to take a break because your lashes aren't as healthy as they should be. She's really caring, helpful, and approachable! :D I've been getting my lashes done only by Dena since APRIL 2015 when I first went to Hawaii. Dena really does know what lashes are best for your eyes when you first get them done. Then she will play with them depending on your liking (be sure to ask questions and recommendations!) I am so glad that I have met her. Dena's amazing and I practically recommend her to EVERYONE who compliments my beautiful eyes and asks if they are real or not. She's that good to make those extensions look as natural as possible unless you want to go long and full. And even then they just look so natural. She better not leave me or move! I wouldn't go to anyone else to touch my lash line. I trust her that much. read more

Best eyelash extensions I've ever had. Hands down. Dena does such a great job and she will customize your individual lash extensions to however you want them to look, plus they last such a long time it's ridiculous. Her work is very meticulous and precise, and even when I switch to a new set my eyelashes still look the same, sometimes a little healthier than before and no missing lashes. I've gone thru tons of salons trying to find a great lash place and I've always ended up with patches of lashes missing after. But she's freaking amazing. read more

This review is waaaayyy long overdue. I have been going to Dena for I think 4 years (maybe more than that?!) I go about every 3 weeks- because that is how long my lashes last- 3 weeks-which if you do your lashes, you know that is really good! They look natural and amazing. When I initially went to her, I had previously gone to the Amazing Lash Studio and I had asked for natural looking lashes. I got this huge, over-the-top voluminous lashes- and it took them a solid 2 hours to put on. I hated them. So much. So I was nervous going to get extensions again but I called Dena and told her I am more active and like very natural lashes- I just wanted to look like I had mascara on 24/7. She listened to what I wanted and did exactly that- and she has a forever customer :) Also, she does the lashes in like 1 hour- again, really really good! And she is the nicest person in the world! Conclusion: best lashes, best prices, best lash lady- go to Dena. You will be so happy. read more

Dena saved my wedding makeup!! I'm leaving for my out of town wedding today (Saturday), and I had a 1pm appointment on Friday with a lash tech I've used in the past (not Dena). When I showed up at 1pm, there was no answer at her place. I called 3x, still nothing. At 1:30pm she called me back, apologizing that she lost my appointment and was out of town. So I had to find someone asap to do my wedding lashes (the most important lashes I would ever get!), and I knew my chances of finding someone so last min would be near impossible. I was ready to go buy strip adhesives and spend the afternoon learning how to apply them, but as a long shot i texted Dena figuring it would be futile. I've never seen her and found her on Yelp, so she had no reason to go out of her way for me. Taking pity on my situation, she was able to squeeze me in after her last appointment and spent her evening making my lashes wedding beautiful! I can't thank her enough for her kindness, not to mention gorgeous and meticulous work! Thank you Dena for saving my wedding lashes!! read more

I've been religiously wearing lash strips for the past five years now and after hearing about everyone raving over lash extensions I wanted to see if they would work for me! I was super skeptical because I've heard so many horror stories of eye infections and allergic reactions so I definitely wanted to go to someone that was experienced and professional. After seeing one of my girlfriends rock them and consecutively go back to the same place for fills it made me want to reach out to Dena asap and try it out for myself! I wanted a thicker voluminous look so I texted her selfies and pictures of my normal lash strips to see if the look I wanted was attainable. She's super honest and told me a thick dramatic look would be tough since I barely had any lashes but that she would try to make them as thick as possible. Still a bit skeptical I decided to just give it a try anyway since I wanted nice lashes for Coachella. When I arrived she walked me through the whole process and how I need to grow out my natural lashes in order to achieve the fuller thicker look I want. Overall it took around 45 minutes and I was SO impressed with how they turned out. I was afraid it would look too light and natural but she worked her magic and stacked the lashes on SO WELL. Dena has serious magic hands and I'm writing this review a week later, after enduring through the dust storms and heat waves of Coachella and they still look amazing read more

I need an eyelash done in hurry and this place's time is flexible. 5 star for easy booking. $95 for a full set which means doesn't mean you will get an extension on every single lash. The second I opened my eyes I realized that there are glue on my lid. The extension is so hard that it is poking my eyelid whenever I close my eyes hard. Even hurts when I try to wash my face. 0 star if I can rate a 0. FYI this is not a store. It is actually in her own apartment... I will not going back to this place. read more

I am a newbie at permanent lashes. I have always had lashes put on me at the Mac store for special occasions. The experience was fantastic. Dena is so nice to talk with and makes the process so easy. I love my new lashes! Definitely hooked! read more

My best friend introduced me to Dena and I instantly feel in love with her. This was my first time ever doing lashes with her and I can't tell you how naturally these lashes feel, I always get complimented on how great my eyelashes look. Dena is awesome and sweet! She was very informative and answered every question I had about the products she used. She has a cute decorative place where she does her work, it's very cozy and welcoming. And one of my favorite parts is her dog Guinness, he's the friendliest :) Don't be shy, she will walk you through the process if your a bit nervous :) She is great! btw she hands out the cutest purple/lavender spoolie. read more

I found Dena through yelp, and I decided to go with her for my Lash Extensions due to her amazing reviews. I needed something quick for a trip to Maui, and I am so happy she was able to fit me in. When I first walked in, her dog Guinness greeted me at the door, and I felt comfortable right away. I could play with him all day. He is absolutely adorable! Meeting Dena was easy. She has a way about her that makes you feel like your visiting an old friend. She was very accommodating, thorough and walked me through the entire process. It had been a while since I had lashes done, so the refresher was perfect for me. She definitely knows what she's doing. The process was entirely painless, and I experienced no discomfort at all both during or after the application. I immediately forgot I was wearing them at all. She applied my lashes to fit my needs, I needed something that looked good, but also natural since I'd be virtually makeup-less in Maui. I got exactly what I came in for and more. My lashes looked beautiful! I highly recommend her services. My lashes didn't start (slowly) falling off until late in my third week and the beginning of the fourth week! That's amazing given my vacation and all. She will definitely be my go to lash girl! read more

Dena is the best. Period. I'm from Northern California and my usual lash gal up here unfortunately had to cancel last minute before my trip down to Irvine for the weekend. I texted Dena the day before i got to Southern California asking her (more like begging her) if she had any time to see me on that Friday. BEST decision of my life- she so graciously fit me in! Talking to her was also super effortless. She is so down to earth and easy to talk to- it was simple setting up an appointment and I was so pleased and comfortable with her even before I met her. When i did show up for my appointment, I was greeted by her pup and her super welcoming attitude! Had a great chat with her too while she was fixing my lashes. Would love to kick it with her outside of getting my lashes done! Not to mention she did an INCREDIBLE job. When i move down to SoCal in the future I am going to be hitting her up all the time. Dena- thank you with all of my heart! I can't wait to see you again on my next trip! read more

Dena is amazing! Why? She is absolutely the sweetest, knows what she's doing, is very accommodating, doesn't make you feel like you're at a rushed appointment, has gentle technique when working on your lashes, does not overcharge for her great services, very knowledgeable, makes you feel comfortable, and overall a wonderful person! One of my good friends has been following Dena for a long time and referred me to her for my eyelash extensions. I couldn't help but always feel in awe by her work on my friend so I decided to give her a shot right before I started my vacay. I texted her and was accommodated the same day within hours notice and I was a new client! Dena allowed me to come see her at 9pm on a weeknight and she took her time as she showed me the different types of extensions, explained the entire process, and answered all questions. She gave me lots of tips to help me take care of my lashes. When I needed to remove the lash extensions after there was fall out, she made time for me late at night again and the process was very quick! I had a bad first experience elsewhere but after meeting Dena she has restored my faith in the power of eyelash extensions! Thanks for all that you do girl! read more

I found Dena from just randomly searching in my city for eyelash extensions and am so happy I ended up choosing her. She has great communication throughout the entire appointment process and it was simple booking with her through text. I went ahead with the hybrid set because the classic set is a bit too heavy feeling and the volume set tends to be a little too frail for how thin my natural eyelashes are. Dena was able to take a look at a photo of some falsies I normally wear and she took the time to go over how we should map out the style I wanted to achieve based on the current state of my eyelashes. I'm amazed and appreciative of how she gave my stubby non-existent eyelashes some much needed life!! Overall Dena is super sweet, the experience was very pleasant and her dog is a total cutie pie sweetheart! read more

1. Dena is amazing. She is so genuine and sweet and treats you like a princess. She is professional but very talkative and can hold a conversation which I love. 2. She is a dog person. A huge plus! I LOVE seeing Guinness her dog. He is so cute and friendly and just sits patiently under the table just wanting to be next to Dena. 3. My lashes were phenomenal. They lasted me OVER A MONH. Yes, over a MONH. I took care of them like she told me to and they lasted a really long time. I've had lash extensions before and only lasted me two weeks. 4. I have gotten a zillion compliments on my eyelashes and it is such a confidence booster. And saves me a ton of time in the morning. As we speak, I'm going to get them refilled! Love her and the service, you can't go wrong with Lashe. read more

Dena did the eyelash extensions/make-up for a wedding I was recently in, and I definitely was not disappointed. This was my first experience with eyelash extensions and I LOVE them. She did such an amazing job, taking her time to make sure you get long, full and beautiful lashes. It's pretty safe to say that I'm hooked on them now. However, it's not just the amazing work she does that guarantees me as a regular customer, but Dena herself. She is by far one of the sweetest people I have ever met, and incredibly easy to talk to. She truly does go above and beyond to insure each and every one of her customers are happy. If you're looking for someone to try out, Dena is definitely the person to see! read more

I've now been with Dena for almost 1 year and I felt compelled to write another review because she is so AMAZING. This goes way beyond the lash application itself, but she uses top quality materials and is very meticulous with her work. I've had a couple of times where I either went on vacation or needed a "quick lash add" (or lash emergency!) for an occasion and she has always accommodated me in every way possible, fitting me in, etc). There are cheaper lash businesses out there but you'll end up with NO LASHES for sure with them and their inferior materials. "if you buy cheap you get cheap".
