Although her primary events are weddings, she accommodated me and has done my hair and makeup twice now for performance events that I did. I love that she has an in home studio but of course she will also travel to you for your event. She's easy to talk to and takes cleanliness very seriously. She washes her hands throughout the service. She has a good eye for what works well for your face and outfit. For example, for the photo in the green jacket, we did a dramatic eye because my outfit for that performance was pretty basic (white and blue). Everyone -- go book Trang for your big day and you won't go wrong! I came across her on Instagram @trangformation, reached out, and booked her right away before it was too late. It's really hard to commit to wedding vendors when there are so many to choose from and they are all so great. Trang made the whole process so easy, and it was nice to have so many updated hair and makeup samples on her Instagram. She was happy to answer all my questions in a timely manner. I did my makeup trial with her for my engagement photoshoot. Though this was nearly a year before my wedding, she noted what changes had to be made for my big day. She does both traditional and airbrush (at no additional cost), so she gave me a combo of both at my trial because I said I love that dewy look from airbrush. At the end of the day, my makeup looked all cracked, so I let her know -- the airbrush wasn't ideal for my skin type sadly (which she did warm me about). We stuck to traditional for my wedding day, and it lasted so well through the tears and all! She gave me a little touchup kit but I did not really even need it :) Also... she makes her own beautiful lashes, and gave me the perfect wispy ones for my wedding day! She remembered we had to double up on lashes for my engagement shoot, which got a little heavy on the eyes after a few hours. For hair, I showed Trang some inspiration photos, and she ended up doing a combo of all the things I liked. I told her I never usually have my hair up, but wanted something different so was aiming for some sort of half updo but with my bangs and the sides down. She executed this perfectly, got my hair vine in so securely, and it turned out so wonderfully! Trang even taught my bridesmaids how to place my veil securely and then remove without ruining the hair. Thanks Trang, for giving me the perfect hair with so much added volume -- which I did not even think about/ask for! Trang is always looking out for her brides. Working with Trang was a dream!! Trang did HMU for both my mom and I this past weekend, and I also did a HMU trial a few months prior. Trang was so personable and made the time fly. She's so sweet and fun to work with. Not only that, she is amazing at her work. It was the perfect balance of glam but still being soft and natural. And it stayed on from 9am to 12 am! It's such an amazing feeling on the day of the wedding, after hours of hair and make-up, to look at yourself in the mirror, and feel BEAUTIFUL and CONFIDENT for one of the most important days of your life. Trang did a half-up hairstyle, and a natural make-up, and I loved it. Not only that, Trang is an amazing person, with a beautiful personality, and she made me feel so comfortable. Trang deserves more than 5 stars!!! As someone who does not wear make up regularly, I didn't know what I was looking for in a hair and make up artist for our big day. Trang set up a phone call with me and relieved some of my worry. I found her on Instagram and saw that she specializes and does make up and hair for Asian and Asian Americans sooo well! And after speaking with her, I knew I had to book her. I ended up having Trang for an engagement trial (yes, I'm a little extra), engagement shoot, wedding trial, and wedding day. I had her team work on my MIL and bridesmaids too. We did two different looks. My engagement was much more romantic and my wedding day was a more natural. I had her come for touch ups on my wedding day after the ceremony and before the reception. Best decision. She added some ompft to my look! I even found out from my bridesmaids that she helped touch them up a little bit too. Thank you, Trang!! Trang is a super good listener. Listened to my needs and concerns. She's also fun to talk to, friendly, super professional. An added plus is that my Vietnamese MIL had a good experience and was able to speak with her in Vietnamese.
