Absolutely loved my experience with this team for my wedding hair and makeup. The girls I had for my hair and makeup were each fantastic, listened to everything I wanted, and were so personable and fun to talk to, too! During my trial, my hair artist, Edith, was kind enough to try several hair styles on my so we could figure out which would work best for the day of, which I really appreciated. My makeup artist, eng, was kind enough to take all my feedback from my trial to create an absolutely stunning look the day of the wedding. The only hiccup we had was due to their hard and fast rule that you have to have 5 adult services each (hair and makeup) to have two artists. I had 4 adults getting hair and 2 littles, which to me averaged out to 5 adults, but it didn't fit their policy so I had to find someone else to get their hair done. It all worked out, but I wish they were ever so slightly more flexible with something like that! Other than that, everything was smooth sailing. Design Visage was the only company to actually call me and talk with me about my vision, desires, and plans for my wedding. After a few bad hair and makeup trials, I was desperate to find a hair and makeup stylist that would travel to San Diego (why is it so hard to find a good wedding hairstylist in SD?! I digress). The owner, Jackie, was awesome to schedule last minute trials so close to my wedding date. Everyone was punctual and responsive every step of the way. Laura C is incredible. She made me look like myself but wayyyy better. She balances that fine line of enough make-up for pictures but not so much that your fiance won't recognize you. She really listened to what I wanted but also interjected with her expertise and years of experience. I didn't want false eyelashes because the track felt so heavy so instead we went with individual lashes which was perfect - got that extra oomph but still natural looking. I used to think having the same person do your hair and make up meant they weren't very good at either but I was SO WRONG. Laura is amazing at both hair and make-up. I felt so gorgeous on my wedding day! And nothing BUDGED all day and night. We started at 830am and my hair and make-up were perfect until 4am! I had the pleasure of getting Sarah as my makeup artist and hairstylist for the wedding and also doing my trial session. She is super sweet and full of energy, I'm so glad we were paired together. For the trial, Sarah did about 3 different looks for makeup and hair for me. But one tip for every bride is to please feel free to voice what you want to have done, and what you like and don't like because that's what the bridal trial is for! Sarah was very accommodating and helped me try all various looks before I decided what I wanted. The day of the wedding Sarah, along with another artist came right on schedule according to our timeline to the hotel room we were staying in everything went pretty smoothly. I still can't believe how early they must've left to drive from Orange County to Westlake Village, but I think they're used to working early for weddings. Amazing!! While my wedding planner initially recommended them, I initially tried a different company. After not being in love with my first trial and having my gut tell me I should go to design visage I made the switch. This meant doing a trial week of wedding. That said best decision I made. First their trial studio so cute! During the trial they take the time to make sure you love every part of hair and makeup. Second, for larger bridal parties, they can bring as many people as needed (they have a service minimum per stylist) to get you ready in time. I had an early ceremony time and they were able to bring 4 stylist to make sure we were ready on time. Third, they are on time, super sweet and everyone loved their hair and makeup! I even had one of my bridesmaids say she loved her hair and makeup was better than her own wedding day. Fourth, from the second you start emailing them they are so professional and organized. I even had to last minute change my trial (my flight to Ca got canceled) and they were so great About fitting me in.
