Jade is the best. I've been getting my hair done by Jade for years now, and I absolutely love her. I've gotten balayage, highlights and haircuts over time and she's been solid and consistent each time -- not to mention reasonably priced. She's professional, friendly and doesn't upsell anything. Her salon is located near the SoCo plaza with no frills friendly vibe. Highly recommended!
Rebecca Jones was incredibly patient, kind, and understanding. My hair was severely matted, and she spent four hours carefully detangling it without ever making me feel embarrassed or judged. She made a stressful experience feel comfortable, and I'm so grateful for the care she gave me. I would absolutely recommend her!
Jade is a true artist! I always leave loving my hair! I recently got a partial balayage, and it turned out amazing- the perfect amount of contrast to complement my skin tone and natural hair color. She also gives the best haircuts and knows exactly how to do face-framing layers and curtain bangs that are so flattering. She's incredibly talented, and I highly recommend her!
Best hair cut I've had in so long. Balayage coloring was exactly how I wanted it and Audrey was very helpful with her knowledge of color theory. Salon was clean and all the cosmetologists seemed to like each other and like working here. Will be coming back for touch ups!

Linh did an amazing job on my powdered brows. I had very uneven eyebrows, and she expertly evened them out, made them fuller, clean, defined, and exactly how I envisioned perfect brows to look. She truly listened to what I wanted and delivered flawless results that was completely pain free. I couldn't be happier.
Thank you Jaimie for the amazing cut and blowout! She used this technique where she left the brushes in my hair for a bit to keep hold even longer and I definitely noticed a difference. I also appreciated that she knew a lot about curly hair and was able to recommend products and techniques that would help my curls shine. She also asked if I wanted a blowout or preferred to style my hair curly which I thought was really nice! Usually folks just opt for the blow out for styling but I like that she gave options based on my hair. The salon itself was nice. It was pretty busy on Saturday afternoon but there's plenty of parking on this shopping center. The owner also gave me a free conditioner since it was my first time in the salon. Overall, it was a great experience!

I visited Alkali for the first time yesterday and saw Cera. I called the day prior and asked who specialized in curly hair and they pointed in her direction. I cannot recommend Cera enough. She asked so many questions to figure out what my specific vision was, offered suggestions based on the amount of effort I wanted to put into my hair every day, and was so comfortable to chat with throughout the appointment. The shag she gave me totally transformed my look and I love my hair (after a long while of really hating how it looked). If you've got curly hair, go see Cera - you won't regret it!
I was really looking forward to my haircut because I only get one once a year. I made an appointment online and was excited they had availability the next day. I went in on Thursday for a wash, cut and style at 12. Dania was lovely and I'm rating one star because she gave me tips on how to do a blowout at home. The blowout looked so cute BUT my layered haircut is not what I wanted. I washed my hair Friday night and let it dry only to see the layers were SO off and chunky. There was even a strand that was missed. I'm really sad because I tipped and thought the blowout looked great only to realize the cut itself was messy. I do not recommend for a haircut. I'll be going somewhere else to see if they can fix it.

She makes me feel comfortable everytime I'm in her chair and I genuinely look forward to seeing her. She feels more like a friend than a stylist. Even when I have a hard time explaining what I want she somehow knows exactly what I mean and nails it everytime. Brings me great peace of mind to trust someone completely with my hair, I couldn't recommend her more.

Really great personality and very experienced. Great conversation that made time go by fast. She was great at multi tasking and made my hair beautiful and healthy again! I will be coming back :)

Always get my haircut here! I have been going to this salon for about 3 years now. I try to get my hair trimmed twice a year. My stylist is Uriel "yuri" he does the best layers! He actually takes his time cutting hair unlike other haircuts I've gotten that feel rushed. I would recommend booking a week before for availability. The salon itself is very well kept. What I love about this place is that you can make an appt and get seen the next day which is nice, I've usually never had a problem with this! It is also very clean and in a great location! Recently, I scheduled an appt next day for 10 and the stylist didn't show up until 10:28! He texted me at 9:54 saying he was running late, and didn't arrive until almost 10:30. At one point I almost got up and left because I wasn't even sure if the stylist was going to show up. When I arrived, the salon was full of other stylists already working on other customers and I didn't get a single greeting or was acknowledged by anyone. I awkwardly just sat down on a chair and never once did anyone ask if I needed help. Lastly, my two font short layers ended up being uneven. I pointed this out to the stylist towards the end and he said they were fine. See attached picture. I've been going to this salon for the last 3-4 years or so and I've never had a bad experience, however after this time I am not sure if I will return :( I paid almost $100 for the cut alone and I still tipped 20%. read more

i've been going to Jaimie for a couple years now + she never disappoints! She has always been super talented with cuts and blonde coloring (mainly balayage for me). Recently I've decided to go full blonde with her and my hair is still so healthy and long! She has also gotten me to be more adventurous adding pops of vivid colors and my new obsession, wispy bangs ! Her pricing is such a steal for the finished product, and she's always super transparent. I came here the day of a wedding that I needed to go to and wanted to get my hair done. I definitely recommend coming in wearing whatever you plan to wear to the event, just to make sure that the hair style matches the outfit. There is a ruffle on one side of my dress, so I had thought about mirroring that with some curls and lift on one part of my hair. Audrey was my stylist and she was awesome! I have really high expectations and she met them. For me, it's really hard to justify the price of a blowout and curls, and she was super reasonable and helpful. She added a little lift, and then just ended up curling my hair so that it would be more cost-effective. I really appreciate this about her and not to mention, she did a fantastic job! I also showed her a picture of my daughter's hair since she has wavy/curly hair, and I never know what to do with it. Right off the bat, she knew that my daughter had fine hair and made a couple of recommendations. There is no question that Audrey is a hair expert. My hair dresser is Leah, recommended to me by a friend and honestly she does amazing work and is so easy and fun to talk to. I mean imagine going to get your hair done and the environment is very still and you're sitting there for 7 hours in silence. That's just me though lol. But I'm very impressed with her work especially considering her specialty is vibrant colors and I've been getting balayage done for years and she did the best job I've ever seen hands down. read more

Hello, I was in a coma for three weeks and in the hospital for 7 weeks total. My hair has been falling out in clumps, and at this point, I need to get a pixie cut. I'm still in recovery, but I need to do something. How much would a pixie cut cost?

We only do gender neutral haircuts. We have several stylists who specialize in short hair. Short haircuts are $75.
Do you have hijaby friendly hair salon, I would love to come here but I'm not sure if the hairdresser is male or if the place doesn't have separating for the hijaby women?
