Vantha is AWESOME. I was one of the many brides who had to postpone her wedding and decided to go with a very small private ceremony this fall. I initially wanted to go very low-key and save the professionally-done makeup for my "big" wedding later on, but after a lot of built-up stress in planning just the ceremony, my face started breaking out and 4 days out I realized I needed a professional to save me!! Enter Vantha. I read great reviews about her services, and since her business is minutes away from where I live, I decided to give her a call. Even though it was extremely last minute, she was able to squeeze me in for an appointment for that coming weekend. The day before my actual ceremony, she had me come in for a consultation, where we went over the "look" I wanted, what my colors were, what my dress and accessories would look like, etc. She is meticulous and detail-oriented and it SHOWS. She took her time with me, answering my questions and asking me a lot as well. We figured out what products we'd be using on my face, and the next day it was game time! To be on the safe side and prevent any rushing around, I spent about 1.5 hour for my hair appointment beforehand, and 1.5 hour for makeup. Vantha made me feel super comfortable while she worked, and the ambiance of her studio was also extremely relaxing (loved the scented candle, r&b music, and water flowing right outside!). It was such a huge relief to put myself in her hands and know that she would help me look my best for the ceremony, and the final "reveal" literally made me do a double-take at myself (haha). One of the best parts was that my face looked flawless the ENTIRE day - by the end of the night I looked in the mirror and my skin looked exactly as it had 9 hours earlier.
