I am writing this review SO LATE, but I loved Karina's work! Karina was my HMU artist for my wedding back in November 2023. She also did my bridesmaids hair/makeup and everyone loved her work! When looking for an HMU artist, I was looking for a natural glam look where the make-up elevated my features/look (but I didn't want to look like an entirely different person). After making a list and comparing rates/looks, Karina definitely won out! Karina's prices were super fair and she also offered a trial. I ended up wearing the trial makeup to a wedding and the look stayed the entire night. For my own make-up, I showed Karina inspo photos and she was able to recreate the look. I love that she asked for my opinion throughout the process. Overall, I felt beautiful on my wedding night! And everything was perfect. read more

Karina did an absolutely fantastic job with makeup for my wedding. I usually wear very light makeup, but wanted to "wow" on my wedding day while still looking like myself. Karina helped me find the perfect glam look that was impressive but not over the top. My bridesmaids were very happy with their looks as well. I wanted everyone to have the look they wanted, and she tailored the looks to each of their styles. The most overdue review! I remembered because I just had my 1 Anniversary and my husband and I were looking at photos. Karina is absolutely blessed with talent. Found her on Facebook and then started following her on IG. She did only my make up for my engagement photos. Hair and make up for my wedding. She also did make up & hair for three bridesmaids, my mother and just did hair for one bridesmaid. I know for a fact my bridesmaid wish she would have gotten her make up done with karina instead of her friend, after she saw the other girls. She was so wonderful to work with. The make up lasted all night long. The make up is absolutly flawless. I've seen some pics of others where you can see two tones plus powder and too much highlighter. That was not my case because karina knows her stuff. The day of my wedding she showed up right on time and stayed longer cause my girls were running late. She even helped my with my corset because we were running late and nobody was 100% sure how to do it. I know my girls were absolutely in love with their hair and makeup. She's the only person I would ever trust to do my make up for a special event. Oh and if there are more people she brings an assistant which just helps prep hair. I was concerned we would be running late and she called it. She picked the time to start working on us. I told her we all need to be ready by 1230 for pics and she was done on time. I started following Karina on Instagram about a year ago and tried her at my maternity photoshoot just now. She arrived exactly on time Saturday morning and did a great makeup that exceeded my expectations. She also did my hair, and my hair never holds curls longer than an hour. I was a little skeptic this would make it to the photoshoot. To my surprise my hair looked gorgeous till the end of the day. This person stole from my wife's house!!! Her third time I worked with her and let her come do my daughters hair and stuff went missing. Please be careful if you're looking to consider her. Aside from that, She does very basic work and does not know to much of the makeup industry. I had my Daughter receive her service and let me tell you, I could of done a better job. doesn't know a lot about hairstyles. Brides beware. Make sure to do trials before booking with her. I made the mistake of trusting her portfolio and booking her before I did a trial. Upon doing the trial, I was not impressed at all for the price she charges. My hair was a hot mess and my makeup was subpar. I can't say enough good things about KBMGLAM. I found Karina on Facebook, started following her on Instagram and was always just blown away by her before and after a to be honest. Naturally she was the first person I thought of when my moms breast cancer benefit came around, she got me in last minute thank the Lord. I had scheduled her for my mother's makeup and my own. Last minute my mom says "Can you do my hair too?!" She said absolutely. She was able to hide the peeling on her scalp from the chemo .. ugh she did such a beautiful job. Karina did such an excellent job and was very accommodating. I had my engagement photoshoot at the beach at 5pm on a Wednesday and that's prime time for traffic but she was able to come to the location of my set and do my makeup on the spot. It was nice and relaxing. She was able to put on my makeup within less than 30 mins. She was very thorough and very friendly. My only tip would be bring your own foundation just incase she doesn't have the right color. I'm a little bit on the dark tan side so it's kinda hard to find my match because I've always had to mix two colors but that's just a tip for those who have that issue. I had my makeup done and I loved it!!! It was flawless and long lasting, I highly recommend KBMGLAM!!!

First off, I will give props. The makeup was very pretty and well done. It lasted through the nite. She did not leave any extras for touch ups like other make up artists do. Now for the negative and it pains me to write this. She was over one hour and 45 mins late to our scheduled session. She did not bring the contract which I had showing hair and makeup for the bride, 2 bridesmaids and hair for 3 year old flower girl. Since she was so late, she rushed through my hair and it looked awful. I actually had to ask her to fix it and it wasn't much better but we were so pressed for time. She ended up doing makeup for my two bridesmaid but had no time to do their hair. We missed doing our girls photos, first look photos and other photos like the beach photos. I had to pay photographer for extra time But can't get any of these memories back. If you want makeup, she did a good job but definitely would not hire her again since this was the one day I was looking forward to. To be honest she double booked wedding events and didn't follow through on the contract to make she she had time. Sad but had to make do. My bridesmaids got jipped and so do I. I saw an ad for KBMGLAM awhile back and saved it. I remember looking at the before and after pictures and being amazed! We had an evening birthday event and I needed to have my makeup done. I usually will go into Mac and have it done there but with four kids and a super crazy schedule it's hard to do things sometimes. So I booked Karina as I knew she would come to my home and I am so happy I did! Karina was prompt when responding to my booking request and was able to accommodate a list minute change of time. She was here right on time and ready to get to work. Karina has the best personality and conversation came very natural and easy. We were finished before I knew it.
