I randomly met Sonia one day through a mutual friend and thought of her as one of those girls that spends too much of her life per day worrying about her makeup. Turns out all that time spent was working towards something because she has gotten pretty good at it. After seeing some of her pictures on her instagram, I booked trial sessions from her and other makeup artiists for my wife to see who she wanted to work with for our wedding day. Sonia's test session won by far in the opinion of quite a few friends so we went with her. Our wedding was about 2 hours out from Irvine and I had 5 girls that needed their makeup done so Sonia went out of her way to get up at 5AM to make it all happen before our ceremony. I ended up having to feed her a few times (pro-tip: Sonia works for food and it is in your best interest to feed her) but it was all worth it at the end. You don't want an angry makeup artist. Especially this one. She works quick and is meticulous with her application as if it's not perfect, it's not good enough for her. As with all females, I had to ask/comment, "ARE YOU DONE YET? WE'RE ABOUT TO MISS THE WHOLE THING!" and surprisingly, she was actually ahead of schedule. If only she could teach the wife about makeup and timeliness then Sonia might be perfect. All in all, my wife was happy, all of the bridesmaids were happy, and guests were commenting on all of the makeup so I guess that is all you could possibly ask for.
