Glady's, I feel compelled to write to you and tell you a little more about my background before I post a review. I do reviews for salons and stylists. Immediately at the time of our discussion I wrote down the time, pricing and details. According to your website, my hair is considered medium and the max for pricing is 300. Over the phone when I told you it came to my shoulders you said $250-300. I understand you have vast experience with these products and with hair in general though comparatively your work rating was a 6. Though the varied steps, the shampooing was a quick application, although completed twice it was supposed to be worked into a lather from the scalp and left on for 5 minutes before rinsing. The treatment is recommended to be left on for 40 minutes and 20 for blonde and fragile hair. In addition, the mask comes with the product and is left on for at least 5 minutes. Any blow dry and styling after the product is put in is guaranteed to have a smoother result. My hair was not properly blow dried with the under layers being wavy when I got home. I was grateful for the trim but clearly it wasn't free. I had set aside $100 as a tip no matter what so walking out with a total cost of $500 is insane and the cost was definitely not reflective in the final product. I realize this is of new concern to you, but it is important to clientele like me who ask various questions and read reviews. Our team has 3 luxury vehicles we rotate to see how this may have a reflection on stylist behaviors, believe it or not- this is a factor either in being taken advantage of (falsely) or with extra care in pleasing. She asked again if I wanted my money back (my hair was in really bad shape after she cut/colored it) but getting another insult or getting into another argument wasn't worth it for me over $300 so I lied and said no, I'll pay for the services. Gladys, I apologize if you think my explanation of how you cut/colored my hair was insulting to you but you insulted me too so that's here nor there now. The point is, I did not try to scam Gladys out of the $300 she charged me, again, I've been seeing her since 2014 when she originally cut my hair for the first time, she's gotten 2 additional customers from me (that I know of) and I simply wanted to state why I wouldn't be going back for her services, here on Yelp so others can decide if they want to use Hairsculptors services. It definitely wasn't about the price (I've spent more than $300 on personal care but it's been worth it and what I asked for). I will give her credit because she did say she would touch up my roots for free, but that's just not going to happen, she won't be touching my hair ever again. I will gladly spend $500 for the cut, color, Brazilian blowout for myself, as well as my daughter's dyed tips somewhere courteous and pleasant. I have been Going to Gladus since 2016 and she is Amazing!! She takes so much time to make my hair absolutely Beautiful and Healthy:) When I first came to her my color was horrible and my hair was so unhealthy. She brought my hair back to Health and I just Love it now! my color is so beautiful and Rich too! I love Her and would never go to anyone else. This is hands down the absolute best and cleanest salon I have ever been in!! The entire salon is new and so clean! Each stylist is so professional and have fantastic hairstyling talent! I started going to Noy who has been doing hair for 43 years. I came to see Noy for a color correction after I was referred to her by my friend. Noy took my hair from orange and brassy, back to my normal light blonde ‍ I have been my entire life. Every time I see Noy it's a fabulous spa like experience. She treats all of her clients like they're royalty!!! She is very knowledgeable in all aspects of hair and can assist you with anything you need done to your hair. This review is based on Noy's rudeness over the phone and not based on her hair service. Like other past reviews, the moment I mentioned that I bought a Groupon and wanted to make an appt, she was already standoffish. I already know I would pay extra for hair past the shoulder, which I'm fine about. She asked me how long my hair is, for which I said about 3 inches past the shoulder. I then asked her how long the process would take. She said it depends on whether my hair is thick. I told her my hair is thin. Then she asked me to take a picture of it, so I did and sent it to her. Then she started insulting me by calling me a liar and said my hair is thick in the picture and asked me why I said it was 2 inches past the shoulder. I told her I never said 2 inches, and that it was about 3 inches. I have never been rude to her and was shocked that she all of a sudden she accused me of lying. I told her that my hair looks thick in the picture because it's frizzy. All my other stylists have said I have thin hair. I wish I have thick hair, but I don't. I usually have to wrap a regular hair tie around my hair 3 times to get it up in a ponytail. I told her she can judge my hair for herself in person regarding the thickness, but she insisted she can tell from the picture because she's been a stylist for years and continued to call me a liar. She wanted to charge me $360 total for the blowout and said she would subtract whatever I paid Groupon from the total price, which is not really how Groupon works. The Groupon deal was $93 for a Brazilian blowout that was listed as a $250 value, so 63% off. Fine print says additional charge for extra length and thickness of hair. If the blowout cost $360, she should've charged me the difference between $360 and $250, not the difference between $360 and $93. What's the point of getting a deal from Groupon for 63% off if I'm going to end up paying the same price? But honestly, it's really not because of the cost of the service for this review, it's because of her rudeness and uncalled for attitude. I don't mind paying more for good service and I have in the past with other stores. They need to understand that most of their customers probably wouldn't mind paying extra too if they weren't so rude. I had seen other reviews complaining about their rudeness but decided to give this store the benefit of the doubt. I should've listened to the other reviews. I ended up calling my credit company to reverse the Groupon charges. read more

I have gone to this place twice for a Brazilian blow-out, and I would do it again several more. The quality of service here is incredible and they are there to get things done. Personally I'm not a fan of people talking to me when I get my hair done, so it was relieving to finally go somewhere where someone was not all up in my business. The entire salon is highly well kept and a welcoming environment. As a first timer here- it was easy to decide to switch salons to this one for future appointments. I made the appointment over the phone and found no problems and was even told about the price right then. I was also told about the extra charge on the length of hair if it was past the shoulders. Even when my stylist was running a little behind with the customer ahead of me, they would call see if they could work out the situation with you. On the quality of the Brazilian blow-out: my hair is ridiculously thick and curly. No matter what, hair stylists are always in shock of how much hair they have to work with when it comes to me. Noy (my hair stylist) of course was shocked but gladly took on the challenge. I was told beforehand about the extra cost of having longer hair than the specified shoulder length (it is clearly mentioned on the Groupon), which I understood completely. Noy had decided to used a stronger solution for my ridiculous hair, and I must say it actually worked. This must've been my 4th Brazilian blow-out by now, and I have NEVER gotten results this great or that lasted for the ENTIRE 3 months. My hair was silky smooth and slightly relaxed, and nothing like its usual coarse curly self. After my first 3 months of the BB, I went back to get a second one and my hair is even more relaxed and just as silky. This place is great and I would recommend it to anyone in the area. read more

On my fiancé and I's annual trip to Disneyland, I used Yelp to locate a good place to have a Brazilian Blowout completed. Unfortunately, where I am from in the Bay Area, the service is not offered as widely (or as cheaply) as it is in Southern California. Since I would be in Anaheim for a week, I decided to use Yelp to scout out a few locations. Gladys came with high reviews and star count, although wary of the negative reviews on the front page-/ upon further investigation it seemed the reviewers who reviewed negatively only had a few reviews to their name. Decision made, I called 9:30 that morning in which I had to leave a message. However, Gladys called within the next 15 minutes to schedule an appointment for me. She informed me of the price, the extra charges for length/thickness, ect. To others who might be concerned of price, Gladys was upfront with pricing in order to avoid any possible confusion. While she was unable to squeeze me in the same day, she was able to accommodate me the following day. I left our hotel early as I was wary about the uncertainty of LA traffic. I had no issues finding the place--/ the yelp tip re: stating the location is directly behind the CoCos was spot on! I arrived probably 20 minutes early and Gladys was able to take me in early. Her sister was also very sweet and offered my fiancé and I both coffee or water :) The entire process went smoothly. I was done in under 2 hours. I am very appreciative Gladys had the filtration system for the fumes. While my eyes did sting a bit, the majority of the chemicals were sucked out by the elaborate filtration system. My first Brazilian Blowout lacked any form of filtration in lieu of a pair of science goggles. After the treatment was complete, Gladys provided me with a hair oil sample and a deep conditioning mask sample at no cost-- super sweet! I also decided to pick up the Brazilian brand's serum as I have their dry oil and shampoo/conditioner at home. While some reviewers mentioned Gladys can push products, I didn't experience this at all. She kindly told me what would allow the blowout to last the longest and when I mentioned I already use Pureology products at home ( a sulfate free brand) she said that also works. All in all, I am extremely happy with the visit. (I also did not buy the discount, but Gladys still honored it!) My hair has been frizzy, curly and a bit unmanageable since I was little. I tried Japanese hair straightening methods but it looked a little too fake and it was way too expensive. In January I found a groupon for a Brazillian blowout (read the fine print before purchasing people) which led me to a life changing event. Gladys took my hair and I in and things were never the same. She really makes sure everything is perfect and to your liking. She is reasonable with pricing compared to most places which helps since I'm a student on a budget who's just tryna look good. I went for my second Brazillian blowout this week and I'm still in awe with how amazing it looks. My hair looks natural, it's straight, and it's manageable. I love it and can't get enough. Gladys there's a reason multiple people have commented on your poor phone skills. It's not professional at all to have a tantrum and insult people over the phone because you blindside them with your costs. People want honesty and for business owners to be up front. Your fine print explains $45 in fees for every 5in past the shoulders. But that's not what you explain on the phone after we've already purchased the Groupon. You're essentially charging $90 for every 5in. So yes you are deceiving people into purchasing your product. It's rude to say that someone is cheap and couldn't afford you otherwise, when really it's just sticker shock since you weren't up front in the Groupon. It's a matter of principle. Be honest with your clients from the get go. List all the extra fees so there is no room for misunderstanding. The only reason business owners ever hide fees is to scam. And as for my picture it's 6 months old and I've had the lighter hair and dead ends cut off so I was being honest with you. I'm in the process of growing my hair out and have had more success when my hair is straight, hence the reason for getting the blowout. If anyone else has gotten the Groupon and was misled by the fees, Groupon will work with you. It won't be the first complaint they've received about this salon. read more

I LOVE this PLACE. Finance and I were very weary on going to a salon during this pandemic.  We were looking for a hair salon to do my haircut and a Brazilian blowout in Costa Mesa for my fiance.  We stumbled upon a HairSculptor and saw the beautiful website.  We were at a friend's house. They said that they have used Gladys and Noy before and were very impressed with their results.  I looked up their reviews and could see that they have a good track record.  We arrived and Gladys immediately offered us bottled water and made us feel very comfortable while wearing proper face shields / face covering and I forgot my mask, she kindly asked if I had one and gave me one out of her sanitary supply.  The great part about that is it told me how clean they are as a salon.  I had my haircut first while Noy was finishing a client.  Gladys was very good at fixing my hair that had not been cut since Dec 2019.  She first washed and shampooed my hair.  Then she started the haircut in which she made sure that why bangs were cut probably were layered with proper styling.  I also had a bunch of hair that had not been tended to in a long time she trimmed that as well.  I have been to a lot of hair salons and barbers in my time and never had a haircut like this.  Then during this time my fiance started on her hair in which they were doing a little trim and hair color correction.  She was bothered because a salon in Newport Beach had made it so that her hair was colored wrong.  They first started with preparing and adding the color correction.  They let her sit for about 45 minutes and let all the products and hair color do their work.  After her sitting under the machine with foils on for like 15-20 minutes she checked on her in which she was very good at multitasking.  After her hair coloring was complete she then washed her out and brought her back to the chair. She then moved on to her haircut where Noy trimmed her hair and made sure everything was the proper length and waves.  You could tell that she paid attention to detail with every client they work with and had a passion for hair in this salon.  I was sitting there playing my Nintendo Switch while she got that done.  After her haircut she put some treatment in her to help with the correction in which it did then blow dries her hair out.  She and I were amazed at how it turned out.  I have my New Salon in Costa Mesa that I will be going to for many years to come.  My fiance's hair is now beautiful and she feels confident.  She is going back in 6 weeks to get a Brazilian blowout then she is looking to get it colored a couple weeks after that.  Thank you for the great quality of service Gladys and Noy.  You have just earned 2 customers for LIFE. read more

This review is for Noy. I purchased a Groupon for a Brazilian Blow-dry. The appointment was with Noy on a rainy January day. Sitting in the chair she took a ruler measured my hair - she pulled on my hair to make to 5 inches so she can charge extra $46. I told her I don't like my hair pulled. She can measure without pulling it. She measured a few times and said it will be $45 extra. And then another extra charge (I think another $45 for thickness although my hair is normal and just had a layered cut a week before) but at this time I am uncomfortable about having her to my hair. I remember saying so it's $90 on top of the $89 Groupon?!! I told her I couldn't afford that and I have to leave. I got my bag and started for the door. Noy came running after me and caught up with me by the side of the shop. She got in my face and was yelling. I thought she would get physical and i got my phone ready to call for help. Purchased a Groupon, made an appointment with Gladys for a Brazilian blowout. At the Time the appointment was booked I let her know that I have thick long hair and she explained to me that there will be a "small" difference to pay . Knowing that I have the long hair I said OK I don't mind she said should be no more than about $60. Day of the appointment I drive over an hour away for my appointment, she looks at my hair and says your hair is thick and long and I said yes we discussed this on the phone, she said it would be extra which I was already prepared for since we covered this when I booked my appointment over a month ago. Shocker was when she told me I would have to pay an additional $210, I let her know then what's the point of the Groupon , this is more expensive because there's places that would do it for $250 without a Groupon and I had already paid for Groupon in addition she wanted to charge me $210? Then she proceeded to tell me that she could give me $45 additional off so I said OK so it will be about $165? She does her calculations again and says oh no it'll be about $265 how did we just go from $210 to $265 after a $45 discount. So after driving over an hour away to come get the service from her, I am not getting the service because I'm not going to pay her $265 more in addition to the Groupon. I'm really bummed out I really wanted to get my hair done with her she had great reviews but when it's a bait and switch tactic that is used to get you in the door that is not a good way to do business and is very disappointing. If you do plan on using her don't even buy the Groupon it's a waste of money and be prepared to drop at least three to $400 to get this done with her. Gladies has responded to my review, just to clarify I can't tell you what her work is like because she didn't do my hair. I was actually quite bummed out that I drove all the way from Ontario to Costa Mesa so she could do my hair just so she could pull the bait and switch for the pricing. I don't believe she has any good business or work ethics when you lie to your customer on the phone telling them what the pricing will be just to switch the pricing once you have them in your chair that is what I had an issue with especially after I wasted a two hour round-trip just for that. Gladys- In response to your once again completely unwarranted and offensive response: Stop telling people that they cannot afford your service, it is not only false but is absolutely offensive. Your response, to not only me, just goes to show how truly rude you are. I would say it is horrible customer service but you go way beyond that. My review wasn't mean or scathing or cyber bullying, as you previously put it, I was just explaining the experience I had with you. It is YOU who owes the apology to me and to every other potential client who you have completely insulted. If you don't feel that the price you have chosen to offer your services at, DON'T offer a Groupon. You may have the 'best' products and procedures but the way the you have treated me and many other people is disgusting and I wouldn't even consider giving you my business even if you apologized and offered to do my hair for free. Another quick tip, we all know that you can no longer pay to have honest reviews removed but attempting to bury my review so that other yelpers can't see it is very tacky and dishonest. I understand that this is a costly service and you pay for what you get but my only issue with this is that they are offering a Groupon, for multiple stylists at the salon. So when a consumer decides to purchase a Groupon, there is an expectation to actually receive a discount. I appreciate the fact that they are very open when disclosing that there are additional charges, for length and thickness, but when you are offering a deal for $169 for 2 blowouts and then are told that there will be an upcharge of $90 for thick hair - I can't see the point in offering a Groupon. Both myself and my husband spoke with Gladys and had the exact experience that others have had so this is clearly an ongoing issue and not just a one off and it is definitely not cyber bullying. I have no doubt that Gladys does an amazing job and I wish I had the opportunity to experience it myself but when having your first interaction with a new business, inquiring how the up-charge is determined, you do not expect the response to be "go back to Groupon to get your money back." If a new client can't inquire about the service that they have purchased without being reprimanded, then there is a problem with the business and not the once potential client. I honestly wouldn't have had any issue with the up-charge, I have done the blowout a few times and have been disappointed with some, I also know the process and how expensive the products are and as Gladys said in a response this procedure is a luxury so people expect to be treated with, at a minimum, some respect. In the end, I did as Gladys suggested to my husband and contacted groupon to get a refund. So if anyone is received in a similar fashion, just know that groupon is very understanding and will provide you with a refund. read more

Let me address each of your lies separately....if I can keep count of them. Since I can't respond to your message for the public to see I will make another review of your store and your conduct because it's very unprofessional. First, you stated that you were up front when I came in the store and OVER THE PHONE about the charges. The only time I spoke to you over the phone about my hair was to ask you if I needed to wash it before coming in. Nothing was said about price. To be fair, I didn't ask about it over the phone because I was getting a 250 dollar value of service per the amazon coupon (or so I thought) Second, I have been to very high end salons years ago for a Brazilian Blowout and my hair was longer than it is now. It was 350.00 and yes for the "good" solution. You stated to me it would be 700.00 at a "nice place" you are wrong and you know it. Third, You made the statement about my having to go home and speak to my fiance. That is true because you were planning on charging me so much more money, I had to discuss our budget. And when I say go home, I mean literally across the street. Your address is 2750 Peterson Place, mine is 2700 Peterson Place. That is hardly a long way. You then implied that you had to call me because I was taking too long. Before I got to my door you were calling me saying I needed to come back because there isn't enough time. Fourth, you make outlandish statements about my fiance about slander and towards you and shocked customers. Ma'am you are so wrong and you know it. It's really the only card you have to play because you know you're lying. We are in EMS and we respect and take care of others. And yes, he did come to your store because by the time I got home I was so upset about what had happened, I waited a month for that appointment and was being lied to. Of course he will defend my honor, that's why I'm marrying him. And finally, the price. You said in your reply to me that my hair is 14 inches and maybe longer after it is straightened. You also said it was 50.00 dollars for each 6 inches past the shoulders. So if the deal on the window (which when I confronted you about your advertising in the window you said "that's an old deal, we don't do that anymore") is 99 dollars plus 50.00 for every 6 inches, that should cost me under 250.00. And that's with giving extra length for when my hair straightens out. The value purchased was a 250.00 value. It says that plain as day on the voucher. How can you dispute this? The bottom line is you can't dispute that. You lied to your customers by tricking them into purchasing something that was fake. I will not take my review down. I have to say.. Initially I was skeptical... On a whim from a friend.. I searched for Brazilian blow out salons in my area so I can do something new to my hair that would Give it that shine and smoothness I've heard about all these years. I found gladys' place and I have to admit.. Those before and after photos sold me... I'm in. Gave her a call, she had an opening right away (my kind of salon - can't stand those places where u have to wait weeks even months to get in). Once there.. She checked it out and said... I'm thinking u have to get a supraliss AND then a Brazilian .. That way u can shower and go.. No need to blow dry or style.. It will air dry straight and look good! I was like.. Are u sure??? Shower and go? That's impossible... She said trust me. So I took a leap of faith and WOW Gladys blew me away!!!!! Two treatments and 4 days later... I just showered and my hair just finished air drying... And oh my! It looks the same way as when I left the salon?!?!!! I'm thoroughly impressed with Gladys and her work! She is super. One disclaimer.... You get what you pay for. I've never gotten these services before so I don't know about the prices.. But I paid a pretty penny for my hair to look gorgeous and I would not hesitate to pay for it again!!! read more

Review for Regina: Best. Brazilian. Ever. First of all, let me preface this by saying I've had my fair share of Brazilian Blowouts with several different stylists. I know what to expect and I know good results when I see them. Regina's work is impeccable! She was very thorough and made sure to cover every strand of hair with the Brazilian gooey stuff. When she straightened it afterward, she was super OCD about making sure each section of hair was perfectly straight - I've never had someone be so thorough! Seriously impressive work. She takes a bit longer than other stylists I've had, but the results are worth every minute! Plus, she's sweet and chatty, so the time will fly by. I would recommend her to anyone who's ever wanted a Brazilian Blowout - whether or not it's new to you. I got a cut as well and I was even impressed with her work on my simple trim! I wrote the following review before my blow out was done because I had a positive experience with my first Brazilian appointment and assumed the second would be the same. I was told that she new how to treat fine hair. My hair broke off in the front at the top. It was awful. Sure, my hair was straight but had to be put in a clip for months. Huge disappointment. I bought a Groupon for $89 and was a little leary of what type of service & result I'd receive for such a great deal. Noy Olmedo is experienced and did a wonderful job. The place was delightful and professional. The blowout lasted 5 months! I'm back and to my presently unemployed single mother delight....at a low price. You can't get a better experience or deal elsewhere! read more

My original review has been removed multiple times for whatever reason but here is my honest review about Gladys and her Brazilian blowout services. This is my second time getting a BB with Gladys and both times I have been extremely satisfied. First time I went to Gladys I used a groupon voucher. Gladys was very thorough and honest about the extra fees involved for extra thickness and length. At first I was hesitant as those extra fees would apply to me, still went through with it and as soon as she finished my hair I knew it was totally worth it. Worth it enough to keep me coming back. Just got my hair done again for the second time on June 25th and again I have fallen in love with my hair! I would have never imagined such soft, silky, non frizzy manageable hair! Gladys is the true BB queen and I will continue to come to Gladys as she makes me and my hair feel fabulous! Gladys is a real professional and her BB's speak for themselves! I am getting married this Sunday to the love of my life so trusting someone new for my hair was hard for me. I am a cosmetologist myself so I am VERY picky with my hair! I'm sure you're thinking why didn't I just do this on my own. Believe me I tried BUT you have to be certified to even get the product. I purchased a deal through Gladys for my FIRST of many Brazilian Blowouts. She is amazing at what she does for an affordable cost. The main reason I wanted the blowout is to cut my "getting ready" time in half and this has exceeded my expectations in so many ways. I received the Brazilian Blowout here a few weeks ago. I wish I had a before and after picture to show you, but needless to say I loved this place. A while ago I received a Brazilian Blowout from a hair salon I wont name in Long Beach. The stylist seemed a bit sketchy to me and definitely overcharged me, but I stupidly went through with the appointment. He ended up missing a spot, so that one chunk of my hair grew in wavy/ frizzy! Here, the stylist actually took the time to go over each piece. When I told her my previous story, she made sure to be extra meticulous. These women genuinely care about making their clients happy. They have definitely earned themselves a returning customer. I highly recommend them to all my friends looking to have a Brazilian Blowout done. read more

Had my BB with Gladys, OMG I loved how it turned out. She was super nice, and it was actually a shorter process/time than I expected. It was about an hour and a half(I have short hair but ALOT of it) Love the shampoo and conditioner I got, it smells like coconut didn't get the serum here but definitely was priced well, it wasn't overpriced or anything. I've had my BB for about three weeks now and you can tell the difference. Before I would never dare out with wet hair, because my hair would be a hot mess if I let it air dry. After my BB I haven't had to use my blow dryer, and I wash my hair every other day if not everyday. Obviously it looks much straighter/"perfect" if I run the straightener through it, but that's only if I'm going out-out, for everyday no straighter needed. Seriously soooooo worth it and so glad that I decided to try it out. read more

Found this place via a groupon deal and decided to check them out on yelp. It didn't have their hours so I called up on a Sunday. Gladys answered but let me know they were closed but asked when could they fit me in, which I thought was nice. I was debating wether to go full brazillian blowout or just a regular blow dry so I made an appt at another spot for just a blow dry. Right after I hung up Gladys called me back and offered to have her sister come in on their day off and do my blowout! I was shocked and grateful! I found the place and Gladys was waiting for me, extremely welcoming and so warm! NOY, her sister showed up shortly after and got to work on my crazy curly hair. She didn't even freak at how tangled my mop was (I had diffused it the day before and it becomes a snarled forest until I wash again) she had my hair straight and shiny in under 2 hours- mid back length! She also have me a much needed trim. Both ladies were fun, kind and treated me like family but were professional. I made my follow up appointment and will be back! read more

Let me start by saying, Gladys is Amazing!!!! My husband purchased this awesome deal off of Angie's list for the Brazilian. I must say that at first I was skeptical about the blowout, I have ridiculously long hair (31in) and it's been through so much and it's fizzy. Straightening my hair was essential BUT NOT ANYMORE. When I left Gladys, I was absolutely in love with my hair. She saved my hair! Her skill is undeniable and she has definitely perfected her technique. The salon experience was great. Gladys is a warm , welcoming, sweet, and a very funny woman, i would recommend her to anyone I know and then some. I live in Los Angeles, The drive and money is worth it for the results. Ive been getting my hair done by Gladys for 21 years. She does amazing work. I have really curly frizzy baby fine middle of my back length hair. Its hard to find a hairdresser who knows how to do curly hair. Gladys does my Brazilian Blowout for me and its like a night and day difference. She is very professional and does top quality work. My pic was taken in Orlando Florida in August. Not a hint of frizz after my Brazilian Blowout. Cant tell you how wonderful it is to be able to go out in humidity and not have to worry about my hair. I just read Martha's review of Gladys...YIKES! I can honestly say that Gladys is one of the sweetest ladies I have ever met. I had a Brazilian from her a while back . I also bought a Groupon or some other sort of deal. Gladys told me up front she was going to charge me extra because my hair is long and she had to use more product...no problem. I was super happy with the work she did, my hair was super frizz free and it lasted for a few months. She also suggested I buy product....so what and guess what...I already had plenty so I didn't buy anything. It's not like she twisted my arm. Gladys is a super sweet Grandma who is a DOLL! If you are in want of a Brazilian, this is the place to go! My hair has never looked healthier or more beautiful! Noy did an excellent job, skillfully handling my unruly, curly long hair. I've had multiple brazilian blowouts, and this is the best one yet. They were amazing getting me a appointment at such short notice and fitting me into their very busy schedule. Upon entering the salon I received fantastic service, greeted by both Noy and Gladys and was made to feel incredibly comfortable. The two sisters provide a great atmosphere and are super knowledgeable on all things hair; they are clearly passionate about their profession. They answered all my questions and suggested some products that have done wonders to my hair. They even were generous enough to share some Brazilian serum with me-I was beyond touched by their generosity and kindness. Super late on reviewing this place. Had my hair done on the last week of May in 2015 before leaving to travel to Europe. I have always hated my hair. I have it thick, frizzy, and wavy.And it takes so much time to fix. I knew i would have zero time to do anything with it while I was abroad. I've always wanted to get it straightened but did not know where to turn. Luckily I found a coupon for Gladys. I had never done anything like this. Came in and Gladys did her job very well. I was well aware that thick and long hair is an added cost but this is definitely worth it. It took about an hour. I grew up miserable with my hair but the minute I saw my new hair my heart stopped. I had gorgeous , sleek, shiny hair. It was BEAUTIFUL!! I was carefree and did not have to worry about my hair during the trip. I also bought sulfate free shampoo along with a styling cream. The products lasted me a long time. It has now been about year and I am well due for another blowout. I got the treatment done in the final week of May 2015 and it lasted me till around july/august.
