Ended up getting my hair booked and was surprised by how quick the process was - it only took about 3 hrs for my balayage, including blow drying and curling - I originally anticipated being at the salon for 4-6 hrs based on my past experiences. I'm sitting in the chair right now as he's blow drying and finishing up my hair and I'm super surprised by how he managed to transition my hair. My hair also feels healthy still. I cannot recommend Stacy enough! I came in with significant dark regrowth and uneven tones (see my "before" photo), and I honestly wasn't sure if we could achieve the clean, bright blonde I wanted. But Stacy being the true professional she is, managed to lift my hair to a stunning, icy platinum while nurturing it back to health (the time difference from the before to now is just under 2 years). We also added extensions for length and volume, and the color match is flawless. You can't tell where my natural hair ends and the extensions begin! Add-on review: Since my initial visit, I conducted a heat/burn test on the hair that was installed. Based on how the hair reacted (melting and forming hard residue rather than turning to ash), it does not behave like 100% human hair. I was clearly told the hair used was 100% human hair, and I paid $1,500 for this service. I was also informed that a large portion of the cost was due to the quality and expense of the hair itself, which makes these findings even more concerning. I initially requested a partial refund in good faith. However, after experiencing discomfort and pain on my scalp, and having to go to another salon to correct the issue, I now believe a full refund is appropriate. I have made multiple attempts to resolve this directly and politely, including requesting a detailed breakdown of the charges (hair vs. service), but I have not received any response. Aside from a $29 refund, there has been no meaningful follow-up. If the hair was not 100% human hair, this should have been clearly disclosed prior to the service. I would not have agreed to or paid $1,500 under those circumstances. I have documented the condition of the hair and the results of my testing. At this point, I feel it's important to update my review so others are fully informed before booking. -- To clarify, my review reflects my full experience, not just how the extensions appeared immediately after styling on the day of the appointment. As you are aware, the hair was styled very straight at the time, which can temporarily mask blending and placement issues. The concerns I have raised developed shortly after, which is why I returned. In relation to your comments about me appearing happy at the time, it is natural for anyone to have a positive initial reaction to a visible change in their appearance immediately after a service. However, that initial reaction does not reflect the longer-term result once the hair is worn normally and the styling settles. When I returned, it was specifically to address the haircut and blending. Unfortunately, this was not resolved, and I was left with a result that I was still unhappy with. The blending was attempted using scissors rather than a razor, which did not create a natural finish. I also want to address your comments regarding the hair. I specifically asked on the day of the appointment about the origin and type of hair being used and was advised that you were not certain. In addition, despite requesting a breakdown of the service and any supporting documentation, I have not been provided with any receipts or details regarding the hair supplied. My concerns are based on the placement, visibility, and the discomfort I experienced following the installation. These are valid aspects of my personal experience. ---- To , Owner I have been more than fair throughout this entire situation. I initially attempted to resolve this matter privately by contacting you directly as the business owner, however my emails have gone unanswered. I also communicated directly with the stylist and returned to the salon to give an opportunity for the issues to be corrected. Despite giving multiple chances to resolve this amicably, nothing has been properly addressed. Your response continues to focus on hair texture, length, and consultation details, which are not the issue I am raising. My complaint has always been about the quality of the installation, the poor blending, and the overall standard of work provided. From my perspective as the customer, it feels like my concerns are not being acknowledged or properly listened to. Instead, the response appears to be focused on defending the service rather than addressing the actual problem. I have made several reasonable requests, including a copy of the waiver, an itemized receipt, and your insurance details in order to proceed formally. None of these have been provided. For clarity, I have only requested a 50% refund as a fair resolution. However, if I am required to escalate this matter further, I will be seeking a full refund. As this matter remains unresolved, I will now be proceeding with filing a claim through small claims court. -- I also want to make it clear that I returned a second time specifically for the blending to be corrected, and that still was not done properly. After that, I did not feel comfortable returning for a third time to the same stylist. Your stylist herself explained that there can be an adjustment period with the scalp, and I was aware of that. However, ongoing headaches and continued scalp pain are clearly not something that should simply be ignored. As a hair business, I would expect you to understand the difference between a normal adjustment period and signs that something has not been installed correctly , if the blending and haircut had been done correctly during my second visit, I would have felt comfortable returning to have any further issues addressed. read more

Super disappointed. Checked in at 4:58 for my 5:00pm cut and treatment and was not acknowledged by anyone initially. I only saw one person in the salon sitting in the other waiting area chair. At some point she looks at me and says "do you have an appointment?" and it clicks that she works there. No greeting, no apology, just a question. I said yes and was told that my stylist was running 10 min behind. I have 10 minutes, and I try to be understanding. But 30 minutes in, I have not been acknowledged by the stylist - she is the only one working and can clearly see me and was notified (I guess via her phone or an app?) that I was there waiting. No "hello", no "so sorry, I'll be with you soon!" Eventually another person comes in for their 5:30pm appt. with another stylist. She is then seen right away and taken care of. I get it, appointments run over sometimes. But the complete lack of customer service was disheartening. I got up and left, and of course, was not acknowledged at that point either. I texted their number that they use for communication letting them know that I hope not to be charged for any service. I really hope they will reach out to mend the situation but I am already expecting to be ignored. Such a bummer because I was really looking forward to a little self care moment. read more
