The salon is GORGEOUS. You walk in, and it smells fresh, there are huge windows letting in some gorgeous natural sunlight, and there is reserved parking!!! The chairs and sinks are SOOO comfortable, and everyone at the salon is friendly. As for my stylist, Candice... she is literally the hands down BEST stylist I have ever had. She knows EXACTLY what I want every time I sit in her chair. She is also a master at haircuts. I never leave her chair with a frown. She has her own suite within the salon, and it is so adorable. I cannot recommend this salon, especially for new clients. I had to cancel an appointment one day in advance after already paying a $50 deposit. Instead of using the deposit to cover the cancellation, the stylist tried to charge me an additional late fee on top of it. Even though there's nowhere on website or her receipt saying they charge cancellation fee. All the receipt said "if you cancel or reschedule we keep the $50" Furthermore, getting in touch with them is nearly impossible because they do not answer their phone. New clients should watch out for these hidden fee practices and the lack of reliable communication. read more

I never leave reviews, but felt that this was something that needed to be known prior to any new customers coming to this establishment. What I witnessed was absolutely ridiculous. I watched a women lay at a shampoo for 30 min and thought how possible that would be. Not one time did I see anyone check to see if she needed anything. After she was shampooed her hair dresser had her lay there for another 30 min. During that time her stylist had started yelling at another stylist and literally told the stylists " we can take care of this outside" as her client was still lying at the shampoo bowl. The older stylist looked at the the younger stylist and just turned away in disgust. I was absolutely speechless at this young stylist behavior. Travis gave me the worst haircut of my life but wait, it doesn't stop there. He hit me in the head with a blow dryer, washed my hair so rough I asked if there was peppermint in the shampoo because my scalp felt like it was on fire (there was not) and repeatedly commented on my race, repeatedly! I wanted to run out of there and I should have, I just froze. Hands down, truly terrible. His cuts look cute online but I can only share my experience as a warning. I received extensions and cut and color service with Candice. I couldn't believe, and still can't believe how beautiful my hair is. She's truly a hair magician lol. Not only is she unbelievably talented when it comes to doing hair but she's also one of the friendliest and coolest people I've ever met. Sheology has an upscale Kim K vibe, from the gold hardware to the beige color scheme and modern design-- a true luxury experience. I loved how comfortable the hair washing sinks are (that's always such an issue at some places) and the lighting makes you look like a filtered goddess. Travis is a master at his craft and he gave me exactly what I wanted. What sets him apart from other stylists is that before he touches the scissors he goes into great detail to makes sure we're on the same page. And once the scissors come out, he starts cutting very minimally to make sure I'm certain of what I'm asking for. Not only does he give an extremely thorough analysis but he has impeccable judgement on face shapes and hair behavior. Honest experience with Travis Vu... I booked an appointment for a hair cut with Travis and it was literally the worst hair salon experience I've ever had. He was cocky and rude. His first initial meet was very rude... no hi whatsoever just "sit here and set your stuff there" which already gave me bad vibes but then he continues with snarky comments about how my hair is so thin and uneven and goes on about bragging that his price is set this "high" and cannot basically adjust his price to give me a basic cut which I didn't expect for that at all. I came to get a cut that would be suitable for me regardless of the cost since the price was listed on his website. He then goes on to doing my hair and starts snipping and doesn't explain the process or what he can do beforehand so I literally had to say "wait! Is this going to simple bc I don't want anything dramatic" I was already panicking in the chair not knowing how much he's snipping off already. After the cut was done he had to audacity to even ask if I wanted my hair to be washed since I told him I wash my hair everyday when he asked how often I washed it.. he goes and says, "since you wash it everyday I just thought you might not want to wash it since you're gonna wash it later." Uh... This gives lazy? And he was so giving I don't want to wash your hair vibes. Because if I'm gonna have him wash my hair now why would I still need to later? he then goes and washes it but did the most quick and basic wash ever... my hair literally didn't feel fully clean. Like... I've sat in chairs for long hours to dye my hair with other hair dressers and I enjoyed every minute of it while coming in for a 1 hour cut session felt so horrible. Comes to blow drying part... he would constantly pick up and use his phone during the whole process with a hair brush in my hair and the phone pushed against it as support to text. I swear this was the WORST experience I've ever had. I truly didn't know how to fathom the experience when I left..... I was questioning like wtheck just happened within just an hour that made me feel so uncomfortable. He seems to pick and choose who he wants to be friendly upon it seems and that's not the type of business I'd like to support. I still tipped him 20% bc it was still a service done but I truly do regret that bc he did not deserve it. Hope this helps someone who plans to get serviced by Travis. read more
