Sophia is truly exceptional. As a returning client, I can confidently say her consistency, professionalism, and talent are unmatched. I came back to her knowing I could trust her completely, and once again, she exceeded every expectation. Her makeup is natural, radiant, and long-lasting. I don't typically wear makeup, but her application felt light, breathable, and incredibly comfortable all day and all night. She takes the time to truly listen and brings your vision to life with precision and care. She's also so easy to talk to--like catching up with an old friend--which makes the entire experience even more enjoyable. Beyond her artistic skills, she has a rare ability to make you feel beautiful inside and out. Highly recommend! read more

Sophia was a joy to work with for both my trial and wedding day. Her pricing is fair and she has a lot of experience with Asian brides which was something I was specifically looking for. Communication was great and she and her team were troopers getting through unideal parking conditions and heavy rain early in the morning for my November wedding. My makeup lasted through some tears and my hair stayed through hours of running around and dancing. I was a little worried how my hair would look since it's so thin and I didn't want to bother with extensions, but she executed the style I wanted and made it work with a lot of spray, pins/ties, and effort. She also provided me with a little touch-up kit (the qtips and extra lipstick came in clutch) before she left and even cut a bit of my hair to even out my hair style. Most of my girls also got their hair and/or make-up done and everyone looked lovely (we had specific hair inspo pics ready to go and the execution was awesome)! read more

Sophia prepared my hair and makeup for my son's wedding. She had previously done my friend's hair and makeup for her son's wedding two years ago, and I loved how it turned out, so I knew I wanted to book her. With over 275 guests at the wedding, I received so many compliments on both my hair and makeup, and I was truly pleased with how everything looked. Sophia was very organized, considerate, and took her time to make sure I was completely happy with her work. She came to my home fully prepared with everything she needed, which made the experience even more comfortable and stress-free. I was extremely pleased and would highly recommend her. read more

Incredible artist! She was easy to communicate with throughout the year, and showed up on time. Unfortunately I was not able to do a trial with her,but I had no reason to worry because Sophia delivered day of. All of the girls looked amazing, ESPECIALLY my Mom! (her makeup and hair was done by her assistant, who's name I unfortunately forgot) She has no idea the joy I felt to see me, my mom, and my bridesmaids look absolutely gorgeous for my wedding. Thanks Sophia and her assistant! read more

I worked with Sophia twice, once for a photoshoot in June and again for my wedding this September. She was absolutely amazing both times :) She's reliable and always responds to emails within a couple of days. She showed up right on time and made everything feel so easy and stress-free. My wedding makeup was flawless and lasted the whole 3-hour celebration without smudging at all. I also got many compliments from my friends. Her team is also the sweetest, very fun to chat with, friendly, and really patient. They did an awesome job catering to everyone's style, even when my parents wanted to make a few changes with their makeup and hair. Everything was done on time, and we all loved how we looked. I also have to say, Sophia is such a fun person to talk to. I absolutely loved my makeup and hair, and I'd love to have her do my makeup again for future special occasions. read more

Sophia and her team were amazing. Me and my bridal party looked amazing!! I was so happy with all of our hair and make up. What was done for us really complimented our features and elevated our look. Sophia did such a great job with putting my headband on and it stayed secure all day with no issues. Sophia even dealt with my last minute hair change with grace. I felt so bad for her. But, she was so kind and patient with me regardless. It was worth it because I was perfectly content and happy with the end result. All my communication with her was so seamless and helpful. She's truly a skilled professional. She did 9 ladies for my wedding! As if this wasn't plenty enough, she graciously helped me with my grooms hair last minute too. Lastly, she provided us touch up kits that we could use after her departure. She is the best of the best and goes above and beyond. read more

I highly recommend Sophia and her team! From the beginning, communication was prompt and professional. My mom and I had our makeup done by Huani for my reception, and we absolutely loved our experience from beginning to end. Huani asked for and executed our visions perfectly. I was even able to use the trial for my elopement prior to the reception. Huani has great energy, is super friendly, and makes you feel very comfortable. I wouldn't hesitate to book again! read more

Sophia and her team were wonderful. I've worked with Sophia three times now and I've loved how my hair and makeup turned out each time! Sophia and her team were amazing! I absolutely loved the work done as a bride and for my bridal party. I had my wedding on 10/14/23 and they were prompt and got 3 bridesmaids, 1 mother, and myself for both hair and makeup within the timeline. All the ladies were very happy with the results, a fresh, soft glam, natural look. I had my hair done as Hollywood waves and that took the longest to work on but Sophia was careful, quick, and made sure the curls were done right on time when the photographer came. I love the work and her team, I highly recommend her for any events. One of bridesmaids really loved how they did her hair and makeup and wants to use Sophia and her team for her wedding. Thank you Sophia for making us all look and feel beautiful. It was a wonderful experience. read more

Sophia and her artist were absolutely amazing! I hired her to do hair and makeup for my 3 bridesmaids and bridal hair/makeup for myself. We had a 10:30am wedding so everyone had to get ready early meaning that Sophia had to arrive at 3am but of course, she was super punctual and arrived early at 2:45am! She was really personable and fun to chat with during the process. She made us look beautiful for the special day and everything stayed looking great all day. She also provided me with a small touchup kit with blotting sheets and my lipstick afterwards which was perfect. I would recommend her to anyone that has a special event coming up :) read more

Review for our wedding held 8/14/2021. I used Sophia for hair & makeup for my engagement photoshoot and again for our wedding. Sophia & team came ready at 3:30 AM to do my wedding party's hair & makeup plus my mom's. They're super friendly and made all my girls feel more at ease. My mom originally didn't like her makeup either, till eventually we all made her think otherwise lol. Each of my girl's got to pick their own hairstyle and makeup for a standard price. :) She knew I was looking for simple makeup and hairstyle and did it so well. I love how reasonable her prices are as well. read more

I found Sophia through Yelp when I was looking for a hair and makeup artist for my wedding! She is super sweet and personable, and her prices were reasonable. I want to say she was one of the more affordable options when I was looking for hair and makeup artists. She was punctual and professional, and I got many compliments on my makeup throughout my wedding day. The only slight downside, although I wouldn't lower my review over it, was that my hair didn't last the whole day, haha. I asked for an updo, specifically a low bun, but I think the shorter length of my hair as well as the fact that I had many layers, made it a little challenging for her to make a tight updo. By the end of the night, definitely after all the dancing I had to do, my hair was starting to fall apart LOL. But my makeup still looked great, haha!! Thank you Sophia for glamming up this bride for her wedding day! read more

Sophia and Jenn did my hair and makeup for my son's wedding. They showed up on time and did a super job on me; way exceeded my expectation. I was the first one done among the rest of the wedding party, went to lunch and came back. They happily did touch up for me. My hair and makeup were glamorous and natural and looked great in person and in photos. I received many compliments during the wedding celebration. It was a very pleasant experience overall and i will not hesitate to have their services again or refer them to my friends. read more

So thankful that I found Sophia :) She did my make-up/hair for my engagement pictures, wedding, and my bridesmaids' at the wedding. She was really easy to work with and talk to, and helped me feel comfortable the entire time. I don't wear make-up normally and don't have really any good sense about make-up/hair.. so I told her probably just unhelpful things about what I wanted. But somehow she did everything perfectly and I loved how everything turned out. My make-up and hair felt and looked great all day long, and some for my bridesmaids! I couldn't have asked for more, and would definitely recommend her to everyone. Thank you again!! :) read more

Sophia came recommended to me on a list of vendors from my wedding site! She was quick to communicate, clear on pricing and such a pleasure to be around! Sophia did my bridal trial and from a single photo, created the bridal look I was going for. I felt so comfortable around her from the very beginning, and it felt like I was hanging out with someone I have known for years. After my trial, she took photos to remember what makeup she used and how my hair was done. Sophia and Huani were the stylists for my wedding day! They had the morning perfectly scheduled out and we were all ready on time! I sat with Sophia the whole time as the bride. Those of my girls who sat with Huani had the most wonderful things to say about her and her talents as well. The products they have in stock and all the tools they used are awesome. They are all very clean as well! They were definitely a huge part of our morning and were in on all the laughter and conversations we had! We loved working with them and by the end of the night, our hair and makeup was still holding strong! I would recommend Sophia and her team to any bride looking for natural glam hair and makeup. 10/10! read more

Sophia did my hair and makeup for my wedding about a month ago. She was so easy to work with and I loved how she adjusted without any issues to the changes I requested between my trial and my actual day! I had her put in clip in hair extensions on the wedding day and she made it so I couldn't even feel it! Everybody complimented me on how I looked that day. I liked how her makeup made me look radiant and natural in person and in pictures! Her instructions on what to do as far as preparing for hair and makeup was very detailed and helpful as well. Thank you Sophia and to your team, my friends loved how they looked that day too! read more

Sophia is amazing! I've had the pleasure of working with her for two events I had to attend. She really made me feel comfortable and beautiful for the days i had her! She is absolutely one of the nicest and most genuine person I have met. I don't really wear make up- so she did a great job of making it look all natural and answers all the questions I have! My daughter and her friend prom was in Anaheim. We live in San Diego so decided to spend the weekend up in Anaheim to get ready for the prom. We had no idea where to go to get their hair and makeup done at. The girls found Sophia online. The girls and I saw pictures online of her clients hair and makeup. We really liked her work! I spoked to Sophia on the phone to get the price and her availability. Her prices was reasonable so I decided to sign the contract and send her the deposit to booked Sophia for the girls special occasion. With the coronavirus the prom was canceled. I send an email to Sophia letting her know that the prom was canceled and we won't be needing her services. Due to National situation of the Coronavirus she refunded the deposit back right away. Her understanding and professionalism we would definitely recommend her services to any clients. We will definitely be using her services when the prom is back on schedule. Thank you Sophia for being so understanding! read more

So with this Covid-19 and with my wedding coming up in July, finding a make up artist was delayed. I'm so happy I found Sophia on yelp! First she was available! Second the price was good and third she is awesome! She came prepared for my engagement photo trial. She took all the precautionary measures needed and did a wonderful job! I was looking for someone who has a natural make up touch and she did exactly that! I love Sophia!!! She is a genuinely wonderful person, an amazing hair and make-up artist, and can transform you into a drop-dead gorgeous bride on your special day. Just trust her with her creative artistry and she will make you look like a stunning bride. She was very attentive to my wants and expectations, and asked for my input which made me feel respected. I asked for a low bun with some curled pieces framing my face, and natural make-up with more dramatic eyeshadow. She knocked it out of the park -- my husband and my loving but critical mom both approved! What's amazing to me about Sophia is the love she has for her newfound career. Even after just delivering a baby last year, she soon returned with her team on weekends to do weddings because it's her passion! It was so fun to see her go from preggo-Sophia during my make-up trial to full-force post-pregnancy Sophia on my wedding day. She was totally in-the-zone the morning of my wedding - despite coming from doing ANOTHER bride's make-up at 4 AM, to driving from OC to Beverly Hills and starting my makeup sooner than anticipated. My makeup stayed on all night, and Sophia provided me with a little cute touch-up kit to use before the reception. I'm glad I went with my gut - Sophia thank you for making me look beautiful on my wedding day! read more

I found Sophia via yelp and am so happy I did! Sophia, along with her second makeup artist, Shauni, recently did wedding hair/makeup for my sister, mom and I. Our hair/makeup was incredible and all of our guests complimented us on how beautiful our hair/makeup was! We tend to not wear much makeup in our normal lives and they were able to make us look natural looking but still have lots of beautiful makeup on. My mom who is the biggest critic of all, had never gotten her hair/makeup done before....and she absolutely loved how she looked! Our skin looked healthy and our hair lasted all night. Sophia and Shauni were punctual and on top of that...they were so incredibly friendly and kind! Getting ready in the morning with them was so memorable and we are grateful that they were a part of the wedding process. I found Sophia through Yelp when looking for a make-up artist for my wedding. Sophia comes highly recommended and now I know why. She responded to my inquiry quickly, provided me with details about cost, timing, and what I needed to do in order to prepare for hair and make-up. As soon as I met Sophia in person, even though it was 5 am, we instantly hit it off! She's kind, genuine, and incredibly talented. She did both my make-up and my wife's. She also did our hair while her colleague did my mom and sister's hair and make-up. It was clear Sophia really wanted us to look our best, and we did! And for someone not used to wearing full make-up every day, I didn't feel uncomfortable or like the make-up was too heavy. I was so impressed with Sophia that I've already booked her for my next wedding (kidding, I'm still married). I've actually booked for my holiday party! Sophia helped us with BRIDESMAID MAKEUP for a wedding last weekend and she did a tremendous job! It is never easy to manage time and balance doing hair and makeup for three girls but Sophia was on top of it and helped us look great for our friend's big day. The three of us wanted a simple side swept hairstyle and natural makeup and Sophia did just that. Prior to the day, she was very organized and sent us tips for preparation as well as a tentative schedule. I was not a great bridesmaid and didn't really prepare much in terms of specific looks I wanted or what type of fake lashes I was looking to do, but Sophia was flexible and knowledgeable, making suggestions along the way to help us all look our best. Pricing was reasonable and scheduling was flexible, both a big plus! When my makeup was first done, I was a little surprised by the dramatic change (lol!) and thought maybe I looked too... makeup heavy? But in the end, it was perfect for photographs and of course, Sophia knew best! The makeup and hair lasted all day, from 8am until 10pm. What I liked most about Sophia was that she was very personable and easy going. She seems very sweet, and it is always nice to work with genuinely nice people. read more
