I've been going to Kayla for years. Always love her care and precession. Especially her blow outs! My hair tends to get flat after day one but the volume from her blow outs stay for days. I've been trying to go lighter without bleach for a couple years now and started with jet black hair and now I'm at a chocolatey brown. My hair is fine so breaks easily and Kayla has always been so gentle when handling my hair. She also has a technique of highlighting without bleach. Came for a global bleach root and toner(bleach out retouch) with Myranda. I fully knew going into it that she's never done it before and she was transparent that she'd try her best. My issue is that it DID look good in the salon but I went home and noticed the root melt just looked like a thick band of roots in a diff color. I asked her to try again but she said she was charging for product. She's very nice but i (and my friends) have previously expressed dissatisfaction with a hair stylist before and they fixed it w/o charge since it was an issue with their service. I was also worried I'd go back and she still wouldn't be able to fix it since she didn't successfully manage it this first round. (I fly out of town in two days so I only have one more chance) So, I tried to ask for a partial refund to get it fixed elsewhere and she said since the service was done she couldn't do that and could only give back the tip. I honestly didn't notice until I got home and was willing to wait but several family members and friends noticed and remarked on it. Have no issue with her learning and needing to fix it but I wish she handled the fix differently... truly don't get why I'd have to pay more when it should've looked right the first time. I went to see hairdresser, Nicole Angelo, for highlights because I really wanted that blonde-blonde look. I have been going to my hairdresser for almost 20 years but decided to try Nicole due to her experience with blondes and well her hair looks stunning! I was so over the top happy with the results! I never liked getting haircuts or got excited bc most times, it wasn't what I wanted or could handle styling on a daily basis. The woman who was cutting my hair poked me in the eye with a comb, it was not the fact that she poked me with a comb but she started rubbing my eye with her hands that had been touching products, brushes and especially in the time of COVID, I do not think anyone should be touching My eyes. I came here for the first time andwas given a haircut by a lovely woman named Michelle . She was great took me right at appointment time very punctual . She looked at a couple pictures of what I wanted and went to work . Very cool laid back person and what I wanted was kinda one of these hip cuts that could have easily looked bad by someone inexperienced but she did outstanding work based on what I showed her . I drove by this place for years. From the outside, this place does not look like me. Gold trim, roman columns, etc. When my old hair salon turned their nose up, jacked the prices up and apparently hired people who did known the difference between shampoo and scissors, I decided to give this place a shot. I was not disappointed! It's hard for me to find somebody to do my hair. I have a cartilage piercing and hair dresses love to put scissor blades in the hoop and tear at the piercing. I was very up front with Chelsea about it. She was very careful with it. The only time I jumped was when she got the razor out for that side, but she did not nic it, that was on me, I'm so used to it happening. Chelsea didn't push me to talk and she did not chat my ear off. I'm a very quiet person, so beauty salons are very uncomfortable for me. But she did not snub me. Chelsea did my hair cut exactly how I wanted. She didn't try to talk me out of going short or too short. Chelsea was happy to take a razor to my hair and take a lot off. Which is a good thing for me. This salon was awesome... I have tried a bunch of places and this is the best by far. I walked in at 8:00 am and asked for a cut and root touch up. I walked out with the cutest hair ever thanks to Marina! She actually left the salon to go buy the color I wanted, then brought two and custom mixed it. She cut my hair and I love it! The only request I had was that it fit in a pony tail. Marina really went out of her way and she made the experience awesome. I highly recommend her to anyone with hair! read more

I saw a big sign on their building that said, Blow Dry Bar, walk ins welcomed. When I got to the doors, they were both locked. There was a sign that said to call or text ur stylist which it was my first time there, so I didn't have a stylist. There was another sign that had a number to call and when I called that, it went straight to a voicemail where I couldn't leave a message. I was out there for 10 minutes while stylist walked right by the front door and didn't ask if I need anything. I even knocked on the window with two stylists right on the other side talking to each other but they fully ignored me. I could see at least 10 people in there and I know they could see me. Finally a lady came out and asked who my stylist was and when I told her I didn't have one, her reply was they were appointment only, which would normally be fine but maybe they should take down their sign that says 'walk ins welcome'. They could've kindly just told me no one was available, instead of ignore me. And maybe they should have a working phone number. What a waste of time. read more

I really like this place. It shocked me walking inside. I didn't expect for it to look this good, wish the city would update the look of the shopping center like they are across the street at the Village. *Out of their control now on to them: I really like this salon because of the products they choose to sale as well as the talent in their hair stylist. Being good 10 years ago is not the same as now as there is different hair tends in the hair and beauty industry as well as techniques. Thanks for keeping up with the times ladies!!!! I was a faithful client of owner Carol for 6 years. I referred my friends to her. My husband went to her for decades. She normally does a great job with color. Last time, the color was too dark on my roots.i let her know and received a snippy response. I let it go and made my next appointment. I sat I the chair, she asked about my color. When I told her the root color was too dark, she lost it. In front of her assistant and others in the salon, she proceeded to tell me she was Done with me, can't please me, maybe I should just do my own hair. I left, in tears feeling humiliated. My husband and everyone else I know we're appalled at her unprofessional and mean behavior. We will never go back. She had a mass exodus of many great stylists in recent years, which says a great deal. Regardless of talent, being that kind of individual is wrong. Such a shame. I give it NO stars. read more
