I just moved to Socal and had been looking for a new hair stylist but didn't find anyone until I saw Vivian's customers reviews - thanks so much! Then I made an appointment with Vivian - was very gentle, caring and professional. I really liked the way she cut my hair and beautifully styled it in the way that I had been looking for. I would definitely recommend her to everyone. I will come back to see her and bring my daughter to her as well. Thank you so much, Vivian!

Vivian is wonderful! She had a pendant that said "shear genius" and I think that pretty much sums it up! She executed exactly what I showed her from my inspo pictures and blew my hair out to perfection, She is also so kind and accommodating, she even worked around my schedule and fit me in right before my vacation!

I had my haircut yesterday by Vivian. I have long hair but thin hair and really look for someone to cut my hair that knows how to do a blunt cut but face framing pieces and she did such a great job. She's responsive and will work with your schedule, she also takes her time and explains why she's recommending to cut it a certain way and then checks with you on length and style. She's located in Salon Soca in Tustin right off the 55, the salon feels clean snd bright. I'd recommend her for your next haircut! read more

Got my haircut and color done by Vivian, and I couldn't be happier with the results. I seriously love my hair! She gave me curtain bangs with layers and ash brown color. I'm very particular about my haircuts being even, and she was incredibly meticulous. I really appreciated the time she took to make sure all my layers were balanced and that the color looked consistent throughout. My previous stylist charges me $25 for haircut and while much cheaper, my hair never received the level of attention and detail that Vivian provided. I've always left somewhat disappointed but figured it was $25. However, after leaving Vivian's salon I went to a party and got so many compliments on my cut and color. I paid $60 for my haircut (I have very thin but long hair) and $120 for my color (one solid color). If you're unsure about the price then give her a call or text and she'll give you an estimate so you can decide if her price is fitting for you. She was very honest with the price so I knew what my total was going to be before I booked my appointment with her. Vivian is also the sweetest stylist I've met. read more

I am from out of town and was in Cali visiting some family. I wanted to find a place to cut my hair that was convenient and affordable. I came across Vivian Nguyen via yelp and read through the great reviews. They really did live up to the hype. I messaged her at 8am in the morning and I was already in her chair by 9:30am. She was very thorough, meticulous, and extremely knowledgable about hair. She gave me the exact hair cut I was asking for. I highly recommend her and would gladly come back if visiting once again. Today my daughter and I came to Vivian's new studio. I received a shampoo and haircut/style and my daughter got her haircut, styled, and highlights in her hair. It has been some time since she got her hair done and was nervous but Vivian was very friendly and attentive to both of us and our needs. Highly recommend, very good hair stylist. My family is from orange county and I was visiting from northern California where regular haircuts are over $90+ not including tip. I found Vivian on Yelp & booked a hair appointment for the next day. Easy booking, Vivian personally texted me less than an hr later to confirm my appointment. I am so glad I came here!! Although a simple haircut, Vivian meticulously cut my hair and really spent time & effort to create my most favorite haircut yet! I will always fly down here to cut my hair ! I went to Jess with the goal of growing my hair out for my wedding and WOW I wish I'd found her sooner because not only did she help me achieve growing out my hair, she also gave me beautiful highlights (which I was afraid to get at first) and NEVER got cut happy with me (meaning she never cut too much). I moved out of state before my wedding but was dedicated to Jess and the process we started, so when I had a couple of opportunities to go back to California, I made SURE to have an appointment booked with her. This is me telling you all that she is WORTH traveling for! Not only is she an amazing hair stylist, she's kind and a lot of fun to be around. I'm pretty introverted, but Jess made me feel very comfortable and got me socializing. I'm talking in the past tense, but I'll probably fly out to see her again at some point... Her quality of work is WORTH IT.

It was great. For the color, she said that a lighter color might not actually look the best on me and a subtle brown might be better! I was pretty down for whatever she thought looked good so I trusted the process again. Let me tell you... this subtle brown looked so good with the cut. Also, my hair? Soft as HECK. It was kinda gritty before so I was shook when I touched my hair after the appt. She chatted with me lots and also gave me space too. It was a great balance and also she answered my questions!! I always have so many questions and she answered them all for me!! Including... how to style my hair because I suck at those things. I'll take any advice and tips I can get. I ended up leaving half way through the blow out because she kept hitting my head with the blow dryer. When I got home my hair looked darker then when I went in to have it done. Today my friend pointed out a huge bleed mark in the back of my head. When I reached out to Quinn for a refund she told me to come back in and she would fix it. Unfortunately, a don't trust her to touch my hair again and requested a refund to which I was denied. I'm unsure as to why this Salon has so many good reviews. From my experience, I wouldn't recommend anyone to come here..

She was able to squeeze me in for highlights the following day as I forgot to take care of my greys before an imminent family anniversary celebration for Saturday.
