Alyssa was great and I loved my haircut!! I left very happy. She did a great job and I'd come back again.

This was, without exaggeration, the worst haircut I have ever received. Jackie Martínez completely missed the mark on what I asked for, and the end result was so poor that it's honestly shocking--just look at the photos and judge for yourself. What's even more unacceptable is the complete lack of accountability. I emailed Jackie directly, included clear photos of the damage, and requested a refund of the $140 I paid--giving her a fair opportunity to respond and make things right. She ignored me entirely. I was never offered my money back, nor did I receive any response or apology. I then escalated the issue to the salon. While they did apologize and offered a complimentary haircut with a top stylist, by that point the trust was gone. I declined, because I should not have to risk further disappointment or spend more time fixing a mistake that never should have happened. Between the poor quality of the haircut and the total lack of professionalism and customer care, this experience was beyond frustrating--it was unacceptable. I would strongly caution anyone considering booking with Jackie. read more

I am absolutely furious with the way my two Black children and boyfriend were treated here. They showed up ON TIME for our booked appointment, yet my kids were completely ignored while the staff took walk-ins and other clients ahead of them. There was no acknowledgement, no apology--nothing. Just blatant disregard while my children sat and watched others get serviced first. This is unacceptable, unprofessional, and honestly feels discriminatory. If you can't honor scheduled appointments, and if you think it's okay to overlook children--especially Black little girls--who are sitting right in front of you, then you have no business providing customer service at all. We walked out, and will NEVER return. I will also be telling everyone I know to avoid this place. Do better. read more

Jacqueline "Nani" Martinez isn't just a hairstylist, she's an artist! The way she has taken my hair and not just lightened it but has brought dimension while making sure it's remained healthy and kept the length I've desired is nothing short of mastery. I went to her because I've heard of the time and training she has devoted specifically to learning vivids (because that'll be the eventual goal once I move out of my blonde phase). She has not disappointed! Her professionalism and knowledge of her craft is something highly respect and will continue to recommend to everyone. I get compliments on my hair daily. Charli is the best! I have very fine very thin hair and I've been getting extensions from Charli for 3 years now. She doesn't push products or services you don't need, and puts her clients first. My previous stylist set me up with 2 rows, which didn't blend well because of my thinning hair, and when I started seeing Charli, she recommended moving to one. She reached out to me a day before my appointment to assess my current situation and ask what ideas I had (via photos). She said it was attainable. On the morning of my appointment, we reviewed my concerns, and Charli explained a few of my errors and gave me advice without condescending judgment. It was like an actual conversation. So sad! I will not be going to this salon anymore. I had an appointment today and when i was driving there i totally got stuck for an hour in traffic due to a fatal traffic accident! I do not miss appointments but today i was forced to cancel due to being stuck on the freeway! They are very STRICT with the no show policy (which i am fine with) but not the way the receptionist Nicole phrased it to me. Very rude and matter of fact. We have had a bit of tragedy in our world lately and i can't support a business that doesn't take life into consideration. I was seeing someone new today, my usual stylist who was amazing left to go have her sweet baby and won't be back. Life is too short to support a business that makes you feel bad. So keep that in mind when you choose to go here! I paid the 25 dollars for not being able to get there but i won't go back. It's a shame. How you speak to people matters! read more
