I just wanted something new that suited me. That was a big mistake. We did have a consultation before the cut, but I honestly didn't know what to expect, I just wanted something that looks good. I couldn't say, right then and there, that I would like it because I needed to see it on me first (which is impossible). Christina & Brett (her assistant) were both so excited about the cut that I thought that maybe I was just not used to the cut. They said everyone would be staring at my new cut because it is so awesome. I have had people staring at me, but it doesn't look like they are staring because it looks good. I waited a couple of days to see if I would eventually fall in love with the cut, but I did not. Everyone I know have said "ewww" or "it doesn't look THAT BAD," which makes me sad but I feel that as long as I am confident, anything would look good + hair grows, so it's okay. My hair was long down my back, but is now shoulder length. I have fringed bangs, but WAY TOO MUCH of it. I can't do anything with my hair and if I don't brush or style it correctly after showering, I would look like a huge mess. I can't even use a headband because I have a weird mess of shortness by my ear that is not long enough to push back (I posted a pic - photo 132 or around there). Christina posted a before & after pic (photo 131, I think). Obviously, you cannot see the SIDEBURNS in her AFTER pic because it is UNDER all that hair. You could see it once I TRY to push it back or pin it back. She also brushed my head so hard that my scalp was red & scabs were lightly bled. I would feel better if, either my hair was a little longer, OR I had less bangs. I look like I got a bowl cut and I already have thick hair, as it is. The more I get it cut, the shorter it will get, so I will just wait. Lesson learned, even 100% positive reviews doesn't mean I can just go in and tell them to do whatever they want. I know…read moreGroupons sometimes have limited scheduling so I made an appointment 4 weeks out from when I called. The receptionist took down my wrong phone number and when she needed to call and have me come in at a different time, I never received it. I then had to reschedule for another 2 weeks later, but Steve was very apologetic about the situation although it was no fault of his own. When I arrived, I showed Steve 2 images of what I had in mind and he respectfully and kindly informed me that the styles were quite different from each other and advised which would be the better choice. I appreciated the input as I probably would have regretted the deep V-cut that looks nice from the back, and not so much from the front. Steve was friendly and ensured that I was happy with my cut. He also offered coffee, water or tea. I would highly recommend giving him a visit!
