Outstanding build quality?? I THINK NOT!! We purchased a brand new trailer from Trailers Plus and when the sun hits it, the panels deform and wrinkles the entire skin. We tried to get it fixed at Trailers Plus the day we bought it and they told us there would be a 25% restocking fee...Wow! Then when we asked about warranty, they said only the interior is warranted. This is clearly a manufacturing defect and they don't stand behind their product. I would look at another trailer unless you want to spend $10,000 and then told to basically deal with it. read more

We have been looking at trailers for about a week. I called and the company answer service made my appointment at this location and let me know to pull up by the chained fence and press the black button and someone will be out to let me in. There were two gentleman helping out the customers and they were informative and kind. We went to look at trailer options and they did have quite a few which is nice. Bought 3 trailers from these guys for my business. Made me wait 2 weeks for checks to clear. 1 Trailer came apart on the freeway 4 miles fro their store when we picked it up. Nathan offered no help, I was stuck with a mechanic/ tow bill. Extremely difficult to deal with. Won't return emails and calls. Never working with these guys again. I would rather pay more to not work with these people. Bought several Big Tex and PJ's since. Great to work with and no BS. read more

Not Great Prices, Difficult To Do Business With I saw a trailer sale and wanted to pickup a car hauler quick on my way out of town. So I made the journey across the land to a place of trailer selling..... I arrived to a difficult access entrance off Indian school as google maps directed me to. I see the sign which says they open at 10am on tuesdays and nobody is here and the gate is locked at 1pm. Even a truck driver is here with a load of trailers to deliver and nobody answers the phone or seems around! So finally the truck driver got someone to answer the phone and let us in. The assistant manager told me they were closed until 3pm because "corporate told us not to open until 3" and told me to see the manager. I went inside and the manager apologized for my wait and told me they were closed for lunch. He seemed like a friendly enough sales guy. We looked at the trailer I truly felt the quality level was not there. I own several PJ brand trailers and felt these were not the same quality level at all. The new 2017 trailer was showing rust at seams and had a less robust framework and just felt a bit light weight. All in all the quality is just not there and the prices show a huge savings from an inflated "Original Price" is an artificial ploy at making you feel there is a deal. I'd recommend looking at PJ, Load Master or Big Tex instead. read more

I can't recommend this company, I tried to purchase a trailer, I was going to drive 96 miles, but was directed to a corporate office when calling. The site manager didn't call as I was told that he would, but his appointment schedule was "full" so my drive wasn't necessary! However I did get an email from them and this was my response: I would have came down yesterday, bought & paid for that trailer or one larger. Unfortunately your system was too slow and your company didn't want my money. All Because of your STUPID Covid appointments & procedures!?!?! I found a company that wanted my money & I pick up a larger trailer today. (One of your competitors!) It's like buying a car...... you look find something you like, try to buy it and if the dealer plays games, you go somewhere else. Also, Your telephone person cost you the sale, she had a script to follow, followed it word for word, and was NOT customer friendly. Had she been a receptionist at a restaurant or any other business, I would have turned around and left to go somewhere else! Someone should change her latest review on friendliness on the telephone! I must have interrupted her personal time or break ! She was only right on 2 things..... Even though I was late for my scheduled appointment since they didn't have on scheduled after mine they took me in anyway. It was nice to deal with a salesperson that knows their product and was able to answer my questions. I didn't need any financing so that wasn't an issue. Signage to their business could be better but not a biggie. read more

First visit: Found a trailer that would work for our company. Luke gave us an estimate with a discount and a free spare. So far a good experience. Second visit: Luke was busy with customers and we waited patiently for him. We added two brand new locks to our order while we waited. I came prepared with my required documents and payment to speed up the process. Corporate had a hard time with my federal tax form and would not review until the next day. We spent hours there and corporate did not want to close the deal. Luke told us to come back the next day. Third visit: Returned to complete the deal and corporate still had issues reflecting federal tax exemption. After a couple hours going back and forth faxing information, the deal was completed. Found out later that the locks that Luke held for us were sold from underneath me and offered used ones, no big deal. When it came time to hook up the trailer, it seemed that the process was rushed and I later found out that a jack fell down in transit. I called Luke and he asked me to bring it in for repairs. Fourth visit: Luke took the trailer and replaced the jack with a new one. They took care of the issue quickly and the workmanship was great. We walked into the office to discuss the receipt and I told him that the discount and free spare tire did not reflect on my receipt. He said sorry and said he would take care of us next time. I asked if he could substitute the spare tire ($226.00) for a nose box black that sells for $180. He said they sell quickly here. Okay, but he did not offer to get one in for me or try to offer another spare tire. I gave Luke an opportunity to make the situation right and gain a forever customer but I feel like it was not important at all. Instead I was not taken care of and had an eventful experience with Trailers plus. Working for the federal government, I decide where I make purchases and I will not recommend working with this company again. Who knew buying a trailer could be more of a hassle than buying a car. read more

Had work done on my trailer here, you an tell it is corporate but the service is good. The only issue I had this first time was they took longer than expected to complete the work but it was due to an unexpected problem they ran into after starting the repairs on my trailer. This place is huge and is right off of the frontage road of I-17 near Dunlap. They are close to my office and I use several trailers and they offered to take my credit card to keep on file for future repairs. This helps me out a lot and I hope we can build a great business partnership with future repairs. read more

I purchased a 12' enclosed trailer from them back in 2009 or 2010. The trailer has been amazing. I haven't had any issues and it is great quality and the price was very reasonable. They would call and remind me of my free service and inspections. That was super helpful, because I'd never remember to get the wheel bearings greased and such. Since then, I've had a few issues that were user-error. I broke the rear foot and it needed to be replaced/rewelded. They did it quickly and very inexpensively too. Also, since I purchased my trailer, I've noticed they've rebranded the company a bit - for the better. They are totally corporate, but seem to have retained the local gear-head friendly tone and style. Not sure if there's new ownership or new leadershiop, but the new brand looks great. Last year I had to repair the driver side wheel well / fender and lights when a damn filthy retread jumped up and bit me. That 30lb piece of rubber did a number on that fender area. I took it in to Trailers Plus and they repaired it correctly, without trying to rake me in any way. They gave me all my options and their recommendation as to what they'd do if they were me. A day later and a very stomachable bill and I was back on the road. I asked about replacing the tire. They gave me a quote, which was a little high (since they aren't a tire co). I asked and they steered me in the right direction to buy the right tire for a better price. Incredible customer service. Did not expect that. The latest interaction was today. My dome light plastic case rattled off and broke a while back. I never made it a priority since the light still works. But the bulb is exposed and I know it's just a matter of time before I smash it with a tool in hand. So, I called to see if I could buy that piece of replacement plastic cover. Spoke to Christian. He informed me they don't sell that piece of plastic al a carte and that I'd have to buy the entire light fixture. Since mine is incandescent, he mentioned I could just buy the new LED version which is much better (and I agree!). The cost was only like $15, but he said if I wanted it shipped, I'd have to order on their website. Instead of letting me head off into the internet-ether to fend for myself, he went to the website in parallel to make sure I found the right part. In about 30 seconds-flat he realized that part wasn't showing on their online store. Guess what? He zipped over to Amazon.com, found the part in less than 30 seconds. He asked me for my email, and sent me the link. BOOM! $8.95 shipped Prime. F*cking incredible. The whole phone call took like 90 seconds. I got a better LED light for under $9 and saved $6 - $7. You'll get the run around here. We walked in on a Tuesday, ready to buy a trailer. We put a hold on the trailer we wanted and returned the next day at the time we informed them we'd be back and they still had to verify the trailer was operational, as well as inspect MY vehicle to assure it could tow an empty 6x10 foot cargo trailer. I have a 3/4 ton truck. Of course it can haul a small cargo trailer. When we were done playing the run around game with a sales associate that was apparently still in training, we walked out. A manager's parting words were that we wouldn't find a better trailer. Well, we drove up the road to Deer Valley Trailer, and bought a 6x12 cargo trailer with a foot more headroom. The only good part about walking out of there was when we arrived at Deer Valley Trailer, the couple who had left Trailer's Plus as we walked in were wrapping up a sale on a trailer, and after we bought our trailer, we realized another customer who had walked into Trailer's Plus as we were leaving had also ended up at Deer Valley Trailer! They lost three customers today (3/23/16) and we saved $300 and got ourselves a bigger trailer with a better warrantee! read more

I had a 300pm appointment. They gave me a number to call if the gate was locked, it was so I called it. I waited on hold for 4 callers (about 10 minutes). When I got to the next caller in line it automatically went to a recording telling me to leave a message. I never even got in the gate even though I had an appointment for three days. We purchased a trailer and with in forty eight hours the stabilizer broke. We reached out to get it fixed and the company told us there was no warranty and we would have to pay to fix it . We then contacted the district manager and got the same reply. Glad the warranty lasted 48 hours. We are very disappointed with this Trailer company and my suggestion who ever buys from this company buyer be ware. They are not honest and they don't fix anything after it leaves the lot. read more

I put a deposit down on a trailer to reserve it.  At the phoenix arizona office on indian school rd.   I had questions about the trailer, so i "chatted" with them which was totally useless for getting any information, with their chat you type your question and it says someone will get back to you in a day or two. So i wasnt satisfied with the chat and decided to call them...LOL bigger joke than the chat. Got an "operator" who just answers the phone and cant answer any questions. the operator says let me put you on hold and i will try to connect you with someone who can be of assistance. HAHAHA yeah right, they can never connect you with someone and come back to tell you they will leave a message for that person to call you "and they should get back to you within a day or two". This happened again and again over several days. Nathan, yeah he's a total waste of time talking to when he finally calls you back in 2 or 3 days, then he says he cant answer your question and he'll have to talk to someone and call you back. yeah, good luck with Nathan calling you back! I told several "operators" that i was getting tired of not being able to speak to someone that could help me when i called. Today i told one that "maybe i should look elsewhere to buy a trailer". You would think that after saying that, the "operator" would get someone to call me right away so as not to lose a customer. Nope. So, I went to Rockland Trailers to look for a trailer. Awesome service over the phone, and i went in and put a deposit down on a Rockland Trailer minutes after speaking to them over the phone. I highly recommend anyone looking to buy a trailer go to Rockland Trailers. A joy to deal with and their trailers are cheaper price than trailersplus. All Rockland trailers are built onsite, its a family business and they treat you like they care and want your business! Sold me trailer with all kinds of problems fenders fell off to a bent axle wearing my tires uneven. They order a new axle and told me I had install it or pay them. My wife was in hospital when axle came in. They held it for couple weeks then ship it back with no remorse for my situation after explaining what was going on and I only needed another week Now couple months later my leaf spring snaps in half maybe 500 lbs total ever hauled in this trailer. This company sells garbage trailers with horrible customer service. They won't fix issues even tho they sell trailers with a full warranty. Do your self a favor and go to another business if your looking buy a nice trailer with no problems read more

TRAILER MINUS I bought a trailer, Curt hitch and curt ball joint. Had it all installed by trailer plus one year ago and drove it 1200 miles from Phoenix to Seattle, went over a speed bump and the trailer popped off the hitch, so I thought I broke it myself. So I parked it and left it till I had the time and money to fix it so I Brought it to this store recently to get the trailer fixed but Come to find out they installed in Phoenix a 1 7/8 ball joint, the trailer required a 2" (This store even charged me for a new ball joint SHAMEFUL!!!) I called their corporate office and they lie to me and tell me they don't sell Curt ball joints? I bought a Curt hitch? So I guess I just brought a ball joint from them then took it off put a smaller one on on purpose then loaded my two small children right behind the trailer with a couple of thousand pounds behind them and drove it for a couple of states? I called them to see if they would help me fix the scratches on the back of the vehicle that were caused by the trailer sliding into it when it popped off, I'm not even asking for any money for when it popped off the hitch while I was unloading and fell scuffing and bruising my shoulder or the risk my children took, or even when it popped off at 55 miles an hour and I was able to slow down with it chained to my vehicle, I still have trouble driving with the trailer cause I can't focus on the road, I can't stop looking in my mirror fearing it will pop off... so if you want to buy from this company and have an issue you have been warned! read more

Just recently bought a 7x16 trailer at the Phoenix location and everyone was nothing but nice and super helpful. We have bought trailers at other locations before and no one has explained the process and maintenance as well as Trailers Plus did. The manager and a rep John was very helpful and answered all of our questions. The quality of the trailer is great and we saved money buying from them because I called several locations to check prices! To start off I want you to understand I had to go to another state because my local Trailer Plus didn't have the trailer I wanted and I didn't want to wait for it to be built so I choose to go visit Phoenix. Lucas the manager did so much work for me beforehand even though I could tell they were very busy helping other customers. I was coming from another state and needed to make sure I really understood what I was getting. I wanted to feel confident I wasn't going to waste 6 hours on the road to find out it was the wrong trailer. Lucas forwarded me pictures and really set the stage for me to understand I was coming out for the right trailer. Lucas provided me with a great price that sealed the deal. I appreciate the help and the work he put into making this deal. When I arrive Julio showed me the trailer and was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. After a death in the family, my husband and I found ourselves in Phoenix last spring. Out of all the tasks we had to complete, our trailer purchase was the easiest. We showed up less than an hour before TrailersPlus closed and we were immediately helped by a very knowledgeable salesperson (Danny, I think). Anyhow, we ended up purchasing a slightly more expensive trailer than we had originally planned, but it was because we could see that it better suited our needs than the cheaper option. 4 months later, we have driven the trailer across the country and used it several times since then. Looked online and said store opened at 10 AM Showed up at noon and gate was closed. Called the main office number and was told store would be opening at 1 that day and I could make an appointment at 1:15. Waited around until 3:00 PM before I was helped. There were two employees working. One was basically a laborer/helper and didn't have much knowledge and was not able to answer questions or sell a trailer. Other employee was supposed to be working on trailers coming in for service and was the only person with any knowledge or able to sell a trailer and although a nice guy and knowledgeable was in over his head and very overwhelmed. Finally finished up the paperwork and left with the trailer around 4:30. Got a call 15 minutes later that I needed to return to the store to sign another document. Its now rush hour and after sitting in traffic for 30 minutes I'm back at the store to sign the document and finally on my way 5+ hours after first arriving. Quality trailers but wow I've never spent that much time buying a car let alone a trailer. Will look elsewhere for next trailer. read more
