French onion burger
Hank C.

Grabbed a burger to go - the French Onion burger was excellent, double burger patty, carmelized onions, gruyere cheese, french onion aioli, and a challah bun. Very greasy (actually leaked through the wrapper and paper bag onto a jacket), but very tasty (although the gruyere was strong, would be better with a provolone, in my opinion if you like less strong cheese). Seating relatively limited, and at 11, they cutover to a lunch menu instead of the limited breakfast menu.

Maple Mule Local Lager

Such friendly staff! They have a bar area with high tops and a small dining room. Chicken Shawarma bowl ingredients were wonderfully seasoned!! Everything was so flavorful. My boyfriend got a classic burger and went from "very hungry" to "perfectly stuffed. What a nice stop!

Nachos - so much flavor!

-Here for dinner on a Saturday in the summer. The restaurant was pretty empty when we arrived but filled up. The live music was just starting and the musician had a lovely, soothing voice that was perfect for relaxed summer dining. -I had a special blueberry drink (there was a blueberry festival going on) and it incorporated blueberry and limoncello - kinda small but very refreshing! -We had nachos - GET THESE!!! So much flavor. If there was a negative, I'd say they were so good I couldn't stop eating them and as a result , I couldn't finish my dinner. We are not local but my husband commented "I'd drive 2 hours again for these nachos!" -For dinner, husband had French Onion burger. He said it was excellent. It was a smash burger so there was no issue w getting temp correct but still very juicy. Fries had unique masala flavor. Would be even better w/ a side of ranch! - I had the Chicken Schawarma bowl. It was $28 which I thought might be a little high but it was so worth it AND I still have half of it leftover for lunch tomorrow because it was so filling & they did NOT skimp on the serving size. All of the components of the bowl were fresh and delicious and they serve the ingredients separated in the bowl so you can add a bite of this, a taste of that, etc. -Service was fast but not rushed. Our waitress was lovely and staff seemed to help each other out. Overall, an excellent dinner experience, would eagerly return!!

Amazing menu and tastes as good as you'd expect! Been here about 10 times and has become my favorite when in the Mount Snow area.

Space Bacon was playing when I came here and tickets were very reasonably priced. There is also ample parking here. The inside has a large bar and tables and a repurposed fire pit to sit at. There is an old run down ski ball and basketball machine which would really be fun to use if they were functioning. There is food here mostly hot dogs, fries, and late night bar food at higher prices as well.

- #TBT REVIEW -…read more Three years ago, as part of a long weekend ski vacation, we visited here with tickets in hand for RUSTED ROOT! Yup, a bar/club that usually sees the likes of smaller cover bands and local DJs managed to lock down Rusted Root! Not only that, but our $25 general admission tickets got us as close as 5 feet away from the stage of this cozy venue. Despite the sellout crowd (thank goodness we bought in advance), the bar wasn't overly packed. We were able to snag reasonably-priced drinks throughout the night and groove back to the dance floor for the three hours they were on stage. Bartenders were overwhelmed but friendly, and drink prices ($5-8) weren't overly "taxed." If you're staying at either the Snow Lake Lodge or the Lodge at Mount Snow, Snow Barn is just a short walk away. If staying elsewhere, you can catch the free MOOver (http://www.moover.com) shuttle, but be warned that their service stops at 5pm. From reading the recent negative reviews, it's a shame to hear that Snow Barn has perhaps gone downhill from the times we visited. Again, we went for the concert, so if you're in the same camp, I'd suggest you check the music calendar (http://mountsnow.com/livemusic) and plan your visit accordingly. At the very least, you can always enjoy a bit of history...The Snow Barn used to be Reuben Snow's barn, who owned the base-area land. After the land was purchased by Walt Schoenknecht in the 50s, it was converted into a ski lodge before being once again converted into the bar/club it is today.

Vermont is the pinnacle of cool establishments and chill vibes, and Snow Republic lives up to the…read moreVermont standard of great places to visit. Sometimes, after a day out in VT, you just need a beer. Or a sandwich. Or both. Or many. Snow Republic has got you. They have great sandwiches, beers, FRIES, and super friendly service. I love the open atmosphere, while giving ski cabin. There is a ton of space for everyone to hang out and relax while enjoying the offerings. When I next visit Dover, I will certainly make Snow Republic a stop and visit, for some fantastic fries if nothing else.

Looking for a spot to grab food and a beer this looked to the perfect spot. They are a dog friendly establishment so dog owners can know. Food wise they offered a variety of pizzas, burgers, fries, and other sandwiches. Beer wise was a little disappointing for our visit considering everything on draft was an IPA with a can option of a porter. I enjoy IPAs and know how popular the style is but at least have a couple other options available at all times. Can never go wrong with a light lager or pilsner and even a sour as well. Drink wise I grabbed The Magic Carpet Ride that was a Session IPA at 5% that packed a lot of flavor for the low ABV and my wife even liked it as a non-IPA fan. She grabbed the porter and thought it was alright but nothing memorable and not the best style for warm summer weather at times. Food wise she got their Luigi (grilled chicken sandwich) while I got their OG Chicken Sandwich (fried chicken). Her sandwich was good while mine was tasty yet one side of it tasted burnt and had a slight unpleasant taste to it. The sauce on it was really tasty though. We also split their cheesy bacon fries and they were loaded with bacon and cheese. The biggest knock was the fries themselves were cold from the start. Would likely pass on them next time. The overall vibe of the place was nice, had a rustic cabin woodsy feel to it as you'd expect for rural Vermont. The music being played though was tropical and it was a nice unexpected surprise. They had both inside and outside seating, outside was a little bit of a miss with the road being so close and noise of traffic. We did prefer inside overall. They also had many games you could play, a pool table, shuffleboard, and card/board games too. Overall I would say the food and beers knocked it down by one star but still worth visiting! Great vibes just not our favorite brewery.

With a strong focus on microbrews, they've got a better selection of beers than their predecessor, a pizzeria, and an outdoor deck facing towards the mountain / base area. Unlike Cuzzins however, The Station Tap Room is a bit more subdued. For starters, this place feels much more like a lodge *with* a bar than an *actual* bar. Walls are plain, jukebox music was soft, and there's a general lack of real bar signs/neons and mood lighting. Space is generally less crowded and less lively than Cuzzins, but if you're looking for a more relaxing on-mountain aprés ski scene and a healthy selection of craft beers, this is your spot.

The bf thought the meatball sandwich was just ok, but I liked mine. It was a chicken sandwich with prosciutto, arugula, tomato, Parmesan...just can't remember what it was called. Both sandwiches were served with kettle chips and pickle. Last time we were here I believed we ordered the nachos-- you can get chili and guacamole as extra-- and they were mainly decent. I remember we ate lunch at Cuzzins in early January and I think that Cuzzins is definitely a better choice. But this isn't terrible either!
