I walked in and was immediately greeted by the cashier. I later found out that his name is Brandon from my receipt. He spoke to me 3 or 4 times while I was shopping. I initially thought he was just friendly. When I was in line waiting for my turn, I heard him loudly talking to the Mexican man in front of me. Brandon asked him if he was a Patriots fan because the of the man's hat. Before the man could answer, Brandon started talking about how he doesn't watch football anymore because they don't stand for the national anthem. No one responded or fed into his attempt at debate. Brandon looked at me and said that im probably a Raven's fan. I thought it was odd because I had on a Washington hat. I simply responded, "No i'm a Washington fan. " I did not bring up the mascot because I didn't want to argue. When I pulled up to the store , I saw a small inexpensive white or light gray pick up truck with a huge confederate flag hanging on the back of it and numerous confederate bumper stickers on the front of it. After 30 minutes of shopping it was still there. I was loading my things in my suv when I saw someone that I knew, so I stopped to talk for a few. While we were talking, Brandon came outside, got in his truck and moved it from the parking spot that he was initially in on the side to a parking spot right beside us. The person that I was talking to asked me, "What's up with him?" I told them that he just wants attention. He was trying to get a rise out of the Mexican guy and now he's trying to antagonize us. We ignored him as he sat in his car and stared at us until we left. Brandon definitely seems like an extremest!! He's definitely in need of attention. He's definitely looking for an altercation!!! My husband and I went here to check the place out. We recently put up some squirrel feeders and our neighbor told us we could get loose corn for them here. We thought we would check it out since we also wanted to see if they had log splitters. Well, we were not disappointed! They had the squirrel corn we were looking for, and although they were bigger than what we need, they also had log splitters. The store is great. It's a combination of your local hardware store, Home Depot, and general store/farm store. If you're looking for handtools or something for your garden you're sure to find it here. If you need larger equipment, this is your place as well. It may be called tractor supply company, but you do not need to have a farm to be able to find some thing that you can definitely use here. The staff was incredibly friendly and handled the very long lines with ease. We will definitely return! read more

First let me say that Tractor Supply has a no questions ask refund policy. I had returned an item in April 2024. I have been shopping at the Tractor Supply store on Liberty Rd, Randallstown MD without an incident until two week ago early August. I wanted to return a six knot rope toy and a triangle rope toy that was purchased for my pup. I asked the cashier if I could return the items ,which were in a bag that I bought to the store . As I spoke to the cashier , over my shoulder, THe manager who identified himself as "Greg or Craig", Started yelling , "NO,No,No," I turned around and asked was he talking to me ,and why was he yelling. I wanted to show him how the rope toys fell apart after one hour of play. The manager said that the toys were made for my dog to destroy them , and he was not going to give a refund ($20.00) for the items. The manager never looked at the toys in the bag. I asked him why is he yelling and becoming aggressive about this conversation. He said I was yelling ( which I was not) and told me to leave the store . I was stunned that he was throwing me out of his store for bringing in a return. I left and called customer service , who called the manager and was told that company policy for refunding items was to take it back without question. He would not, stating that it was at his discretion. I was given a e gift card by customer service. I can not shop there anymore because I asked for a refund or credit. I will end by stating that I believe that the manager was a bigot, and where was no provocation for his behavior. I don't recommend this store if you are not within the manager's ethic group. read more

I went to Tractor Supply Co. to make a small purchase (flake shavings, $5.99) for my chickens. Upon walking into the store I was immediately greeted by Sally and James, who not only said "hello", but made pleasant conversation with me. Since they seemed so friendly, I asked if either of them knew much about chickens. I didn't expect them to... but James did, and offered to help me. He took the time to walk through the store with me, showing me products he recommends, reading and comparing labels and even explaining his recommendations in detail. If I said I wanted to purchase an item he showed me, he placed it in my cart and made sure it was exactly what I needed, and I knew exactly how to use it. My $5.99 purchase became a $68.92 sale (and I will be back next week to purchase a heater James recommended), AND gave me peace of mind for my girls. Sally then quickly and pleasantly rang up my sale (including a Protection Plan that James recommended), and I was on my way. I must confess that on my way home I called my sister and my best friend (who both also have chickens, dogs and cats) and told them about my experience at Tractor Supply Co. and how amazing James was. read more

This store is becoming my favorite shop for farm supplies such as chicken feed and straw bales. Compared to other local stores, it carries a bigger assortment of brands for chicken feeds. These brands often have really good sales. I love the DuMor wheat straws. They are thoroughly dried and tightly packed into bales that are wrapped in plastic. Because of this, they are easy to carry and don't leave a mess in the car. They also give you more for your money compared to the loosely packed bales from AA Co. Lawn and Garden Center, formerly AA Farmer's Co-op. Importantly, Tractor Supply Co. has the unique combination of modern convenience in a big-box store and friendly service in a local business. It's easy to order online for delivery or pick up. The staff has always been helpful in the pick-up process. I'm so glad to have a TSC in the area. read more

I was in need of Vaccines for my pet when I went in to the local tractor supply. I made my way to the cash register in order to inform him I would need assistance in pet vaccines section, basically so they could unlock the refrigerator where it's all kept. I waited about 10 minutes and return to the counter to ask for assistance again, not long after that a tall female walked out without any identification that she worked there came up looking upset immediately. I wasn't certain at first if she was there to help or just another customer, she looks me in the face and said "can you move so I can put the key in" yeh I was totally off guard and shocked that someone could approach a customer like this!! Then she said what do you want!! At this point I damn near forgot what I came for due to her rudeness. I got three out of the 4 shots I needed because I was so upset to even stand there with her anymore, rather make a seen I simple looked at her and said I'm so sorry I had to bother you, but even then she didn't get the idea more care that she was extremely rude!! I immediately looked for another tractor trailer supply that could be close so that I never have to see this rude young ladies face again!!! Horrible, Rude customer service!! read more

As someone who has shopped at many Tractor Supply locations, I was surprised and disappointed by the total and complete lack of customer service and the attitude of the employees and management in this location. I stopped into this store for the first time today, and was impressed with the layout and the amount of space that they have. This location was formerly a Wal*Mart store, and it has now be subdivided into several different stores with Tractor Supply on the end where the garden center once was. I looked around for a bit, and picked up some spray paint that I needed for a project. I walked up to the front of the store and there was no one at the cash register. I stood there for several minutes and a clerk in view looked at me several times, but said nothing. She finally came over towards the register pushing a cart with something on it. I had left the paint on the counter and was walking out the door when she walked by me, still not saying a word. I told her that her lack of acknowledgment of a customer was the reason I was leaving the store and would never return to that location. She replied with an attitude " I was helping him, he was here first!" I never said that I should have been ahead of a customer who was at the register first (even though there was no one there when I got there) but rather that her ignoring a customer at the register was the problem. I then asked her to get the manager. She said she would call the manager, but she had called her previously and she had not responded, apparently in the hope that I would just leave. The manager did come up, with no sense of urgency, actually stopping to straighten merchandise on her way to the front. I explained what had happened, and her only response was she would "have a conversation with her before the end ot the day" She did not seem concerned that a customer had been ignored, nor did she offer to do anything to try to make it right. When I told her that her response meant that I would be calling the corporate office, she then asked me "What do you expect me to do?". Her attitude and the total lack of concern for the customer is a reason to avoid this particular location. read more

This store is amazing ! People very helpful and prices were reasonable. I would go back again. They allow smoking in the store which I thought was odd but I'm cool with that. One guy was smoking a blunt and was sharing with other customers which I thought was very friendly of him. I think he said it was Sour Diesel !! Everyone smoking was annihilated. We shop here weekly to feed our giant pups, buy as many tools and gardening supplies as we can find here. Staff is very friendly.

Excellent service, especially when I can't find an item... the salesperson not only tells me where it is located, he or she takes me there. If I want help out to the car with my 10 bags of items, U usually don't even need to ask..it is offered when I am assisted in the store with the items being placed on my cart. There is also a new frequent type of buyers club that has been very inclusive already... Check it out and when it is your birthday... a very nice special treat comes ur way. read more

Went there to get a propane cylinder refilled. Waited in line, was told to go outside, have the cylinder filled, and bring the ticket back inside afterwards to make payment. I'm not sure that's a good idea, since there is nothing preventing anyone from just getting their cylinder filled, putting in their vehicle and driving off. Anyway, I played along...had to wait for the older gentleman to finish loading a pickup with bags of mulch, then take a forklift to load a log splitter for another customer. I'm a pretty patient person, so I waited my turn. The employee returns only to tell me he can't refill my cylinder because its a Blue Rhino cylinder. Are you kidding me? It does have the Blue Rhino plastic shrink wrap around the cylinder, but once the shrink wrap is removed it's still just a 20 lb propane cylinder. He would not fill it. Nice store, was going to check the place out further to possibly purchase pet food, bird seed, work clothes, boots & gloves as well as check out the rest of their inventory. But alas, one bad experience is all it takes to lose my patronage....I wont be going back. read more
