I love Home Goods. I never leave out empty handed. There is so much to chose from. I love the snacks. Accessories, I found two lovely vases from Thailand to put on my stand. Beautiful every thing that I have purchased I love. I have numerous lamps. Things for my bathroom. The Pictures are beautiful. You can't keep me away. Service is a little slow as far as the lines are concerned. They only had one cash register open at first. Then they opened a second one. You can sometimes find reasonable prices on your items. I think they price accordingly. Plenty of parking available. Can't wait to return. read more

I happened upon this particular HomeGoods by accident. Doh! I came to this strip mall for Marshalls and found HomeGoods. Win! You can always tell a 'good' HomeGoods the minute you walk in the door. This is a good one! I'm sure that's subjective, so I'll say IMO. I was greeted with the items I was looking for: planters! And they were purty! *visualized that cartoon scene where the woman's eyes turn to hearts and pop out of her head* There should have been a theme song playing as I walked in. I was enamored! There were lots of goodies in this one. I spent about 20 minutes deciding between planters (which is what I came looking for). And I'll most likely be back for more. I then went to look at the rest of the store and came across stools (which I'm also looking for) and spent another 20 minutes here feeling them out. I ended up purchasing the planter, protein bars (in Home Goods? Yes, in Home Goods), and a plush pillow (one of those kinds you put in the bed that has arms and makes it more comfy to chill). I'm thinking I'll be on the search for the other matching planter as there was only one in the color I wanted. But I'll be back here. I think the music they play lulls you so you stay longer. Absolutely wonderful, kind and patient staff. The whole store overall is extremely well organized. Plus every time I've gone in they have a great selection with plenty of options of probably what you're looking for and then also things that are too tempting not to get even though you weren't looking for it. The staff is extremely helpful and patiently nice. I definitely recommend this HomeGoods and we all know not all of them are created equal. read more

The only thing better than HomeGoods is a brand new HomeGoods like the store at Pasasdena Crossroads! HomeGoods is part of the TJMaxx group and offers past season and off brand home furnishing at discounted prices. Here is what I really like about the new Pasadena store: - A big, bright, beautiful new store. - Seasonal items. Right now there is lots of Christmas stuff and some leftover Fall décor. You have to dig in a bit but there are some good finds. - Everything is fairly priced. Some items are quality brands at ok prices whereas other items are average brands at great prices. - You might not find a treasure on every visit, so shop her frequently for awesome deals on brand name items. - Some of my favorite HomeGoods finds are seasonal décor, vanilla extract, sprinkles, desk fans, soaps, towels, rugs, gift wrap and candy. Love coming to Home Goods because they have so many amazing branded stuff at affordable prices! I love the kitchen-related merchandise and their pet supplies the most. Not to mention, they have quite a few selections of nice paintings too. Only thing that saddens me is that once you see it at the store, you should get it right away. Things sell out fast and its not like they carry the same stuff everyday or every time they receive shipments. This is also because each store carries different merchandise. I have gotten many stuff for my cat and for my kitchen here before! Love the little gourmet section where sometimes they have some black truffle stuff I love. I got my cat an elevated/raised bowl because especially for cats, it's really important to eat food in a certain position for their health. Because Home Goods is under same company as Marshalls and TJ Maxx, they have many overlapping merchandise but a lot of them are exclusive at Home Goods only when it comes to home decorations. read more

I was checking out with Chloe and she was fantastic! She caught that one of the items had been tagged incorrectly. The store manager I suppose, truthfully he never introduced himself went to see if anymore were on the floor cause it was tagged as sheets and was 20 dollars. He came back and said 9.99 I tried to ask him how he came up with the price cause it seemed very high for this little tiny boat and he said it's 9.99 you can take it or leave it very rudely. He acted as if I had labeled it wrong or I had done something wrong. I was very upset at that point. He wouldn't even acknowledge me. I didn't do anything wrong I just tried to ask cause I thought it would be more like 5.99 it's a cheap little boat and he was ignorant and rude. The whole team then started gossiping off to the side. It was really unprofessional and demeaning. My husband met me at the front and asked me what was wrong cause I left crying at this point. I had never been treated so rudely in my life by a manager when simply trying to enquire on a price. He was way out of line and was incredibly disrespectful. If a patron has a question you should try and acknowledge it. I asked the cashier his name before I left and let her know she was incredibly helpful and was gracious for her catch. Chloe kept her utmost professionalism in place but I cannot say that for the manager Leonard tonight. This will keep me from coming back ever again after feeling so uneasy and uncomfortable. read more
