Service was quick, cashier was intently watching to look what I would order, he was hype. Comfortable seats, squishy and all that. They didn't have any public wifi though.... Man. But many business men posted up and got that laptop out and got to work. It was sweet to see, all of them sipping on their fruity little drinks doing their work. Good vibes. Tea was great, strong but smooth.
Good boba tea shop near my office. Lots of selection of milk team and fruit tea. The boba has good QQ texture. Orders are taken either at the kiosk or at the front counter. Quick service for the orders that I've ordered there. They have some limited indoor seating while you wait. Decent space for hanging out to enjoy some tea. I usually take my order to go, but appreciate the space to wait for the order. My usual order is the sunshine iced tea with boba.
Tea was good. Not too sweet even without adjusting anything. Chewy boba. Smaller size pearls but they did put a lot in my cup. Fast service. Order either at counter or at kiosk. Plenty of parking during weekday afternoon. Not many inside seatings. More like a grab and go boba shop.
After lunch, we needed a pick-me-up. We went to TP Tea. We parked right in front and the service was quick. We ordered Tie Guan Yin Milk Tea x 2, 3Q TP Milk Tea (Includes QQ Noodle, Boba, Coffee Jelly), and Strawberry Milk Tea. The drinks are consistently good here. I had my Tie Guan Yin Milk Tea (Roasted Oolong Milk Tea) with coffee jelly. Next time, I want to try the lychee jelly.
I got the Tie Guan Yin milk tea with boba, and it was really good. This is my fourth time coming here, and I'll definitely be back again soon. All of their drinks have a strong, rich tea flavor, which I personally love. The shop itself is very small, more of a grab-and-go spot. There are only about two or three small tables inside, so it's not really a place to hang out. I would recommend ordering online ahead of time since it can get pretty busy. That said, I was a bit disappointed with the service during my most recent visit. I received a pickup text and went to grab my order, but they told me it was still being prepared. After waiting another 5-10 minutes, I went back up only to find that my drink had already been sitting on the pickup table the whole time. The lack of organization and awareness from staff really took away from the experience.
My go-to order is the 3Q milk tea -- I love the QQ noodles and coffee jelly toppings. Such a great combo! I usually order online for pickup, and the process is always super easy. The line can get pretty long at times, so I highly recommend ordering ahead if you want to save some time. The pickup process is very convenient. I get a text notification when my order is ready, and the workers are always nice and helpful.
This place has my heart for being so cute, cozy, clean and comfortable! Their tea is delicious and sooo refreshing on a hot day. I have never seen such a large selection of teas! This is a place where you sit down and drink your tea and chat with a friend, or work on your computer. Such nice ambiance.
Came here on a Monday around 4pm small wait to order fairly busy. Limited seating parking lot available. Had kiosk too. Staff friendly. Ordered the strawberry smoothie with boba. It was sweet and refreshing. Boba was tiny but fresh. All in all good for a one time try.
TP Tea has slowly became my favorite spot to get milk tea/boba fix! Not much of a boba person anymore, but I found myself drawn to their milk tea! It reminded me of the milk tea I would get during my childhood, nothing too crazy in term of favor but super classic and fragrant! This is my second time visiting the Irvine location and I think I like it better than the Artesia location, as it is a bit more spacious and closer to me. My go to order is the 3Q TP Milk Tea with all 3 of their signature toppings. I always get my milk tea at the 30% sweetness level, which is perfect for me! The boba and qq noodles are perfectly cooked with the right chew! I visited 10 mins before the store close, which I feel bad but your boy needs to get his craving fix. The service was super fast and staff were friendly and welcoming!
I drive past this TP Tea location on my way to work all the time and finally decided to give it a try. Unfortunately, my first impression wasn't great. When I walked in, there were four employees behind the counter and another customer being helped. I got in what I thought was the line and started looking over the menu. After the customer in front of me got their drink and left, I moved forward expecting to place my order next, but no one acknowledged me at all. I stood there awkwardly for several minutes while employees walked around behind the counter without saying a word. Eventually, I noticed two ordering screens mounted on the wall. Since it was my first visit, I wasn't aware that orders had to be placed there. I asked an employee, "Is that the only way to place an order?" and was simply told, "Yes, you can order there." There was no greeting, explanation, or attempt to help a first-time customer. I almost walked out because the interaction felt so unfriendly and uncomfortable, but since I was already there, I decided to order anyway. I got a Thai milk tea with boba, and it was fine, but nothing memorable or worth going out of my way for. The drink itself wasn't the issue. What really left a bad taste in my mouth was the lack of customer service and basic acknowledgment. A simple "Welcome in" or "You can order at the kiosk" would have made a huge difference. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I don't see myself returning.
Classic Taiwanese style milk teas! I love their tieguanyin tea the most. They use a higher concentration of tea for their drinks which gives it a strong and heavy tea taste. At this location there are kiosks to order off of but you can also just order at the counter. Their boba is very pleasant, no complaints. You MUST try their QQ noodles. They add a unique texture that I think you'll love.
The drinks were cast served and the amount put was well done. I would of liked the drink to be more bigger so I can enjoy it longer. I say the place is clean and simple to hang out with friends and to pick up and go. I was glad to have gotten a chance to drop by and will buy again for the other favors.
TL;DR - top tier milk tea store in OC, can't miss with any of their drinks. Their orange milk tea was bomb but a seasonal drink. Recently released their lychee series which is also excellent! There's obviously a ton of milk tea stores throughout Orange County and a bunch of them are excellent. When it comes my definition of a top-tier milk tea store, it is TP Tea without question. I've been coming here for years and have never been disappointed in the quality of their drinks. You can't miss to be honest. My favorite drink was their orange milk tea but it was a seasonal drink. I was really REALLY sad to see it go away lol. The service here is always quick and I've never seen them mess up! Ambiance is nice. Not noisy but not silent like a library. A lot of college students come here given the proximity of the store to UCI and OCC. I visited yesterday and noticed they have a new Lychee series. It was really exciting for me because I'm obsessed with lychee. I got their lychee paired with our Four Season Tea and CUBE PEARL. Four Season Tea is a type of oolong. It was incredibly refreshing and I finished it before I even left the store lol. Will be coming back! Please keep this series on your menu forever!

Ambiance is no no! Service is ok! Drinks are not that good but drinkable. Will not recommend compared to other boba places I have been. read more
Strong contender with Orobae but I have to taste more of their pure teas to be able to compare. We got their Tie Guan Yin Milk Tea with grass jelly 50% sweet and their Wintermelon Tie Guan Yin with grass jelly sweetness cannot be adjusted. It was super crowded and busy inside. Order on the iPad and wait for your order. I waited maybe 10-15 minutes? It wasn't too bad. Drinks were good, milk tea didn't upset my stomach (my stomach can be selective depending on the creamer used). The milk tea wasn't too sweet but the wintermelon was sweet. I forgot to order their QQ noodle topping so I'll be back to try it. Their menu is a bit overwhelming though. There is a huge lot with plenty of spaces but the rows are a bit narrow so suggest to reverse into a spot :) read more
Located in a small shopping center with plenty of parking. Really liked the kiosk ordering and the place is very clean. The drinks came out quickly and there is only one size selection. Ample boba in each drink, however, the boba is tasteless. It would be SO much better if it had the sweetness that boba should have. I normally get my drinks at 80% sweetness but it was not sweet at all (esp since the boba is tasteless). I upped it to 100% and still felt like it wasn't sweet enough. Tea strength was also weaker than I'd like. Overall, if the boba was sweetened, this could be a great spot. read more
|[ m y t o p b o b a s p o t ]| I already had HIGH expectations because I am absolutely in love w the Cupertino location and I was ECSTATIC to find out they were opening one in SoCal finally! Wasn't disappointed as it is still my top boba choice for the most tea-flavored milk tea (what makes the MT great for me). |[ t h e b e s t ]| Tie guanyin mt with grass jelly (no sugar) 5/5: my go to drink, it is so flavorful and tasty and I know so because I get my drinks w no sugar and even then it tastes so good here. I love tie guanyin tea and I can taste the flavor of the tea. Grass jelly topping is super silky smooth, the quality is unmatched! This drink has my heart (and I'm super picky abt my mt/boba). :0 Classic/house mt 5/5: tea flavor is great as well, my second go to drink, can't go wrong w it! Tried the qq noodles topping which was AMAZING, def recommend it's super fun to eat, a noodle squishier version of boba!! ^_= |[ s m a l l s h o p p e ]| Inside a plaza w parking! Small interior more of a grab and go but kiosks for ordering efficiency, drinks came out quick! Not much space for dine in but honestly for this quality of mt idm at all. LOVE this place! We always try to stop by if we're ever around Irvine. The place can get a little packed but it's worth the wait. There's some seating to wait. Cute interior as well. There's a decent sized parking lot so it's not too bad, can get packed though. The drinks we got this time were Moo! My taro - really good if you're a taro lover! Strawberry milk smoothie - also really good, doesn't taste super artificial. Has real strawberry flavor I always get the QQ noodles as a topping because I really like the texture. It's chewy but not super chewy . It's also not as sweet as boba so I feel less guilty lol read more
1. I love the color layering of this coffee drink, and the drink tasted good! 2. The spot has fun casual vibes with lots of people coming and going! 3. They have self-checkout kiosks for ordering, and the staff was timely with my drink! The drink took about 10 mins! Note: There is only two tables available inside with three seats each! I've been eyeing this spot since moving down from the Bay Area and I have to say it lived up to the hype! Based in Taiwan, TP Tea is a shop that churns out high quality, handcrafted drinks. I ordered the Tie Guan Yin (TGY) Milk Tea and the Strawberry Milk Tea, and they both came out delicious! I ordered both drinks at 80% sweet and it was still not too sweet (which is perfect for me). They offer QQ noodles here as a topping which is something I haven't seen my trips to the boba shops in Asia. If I were to describe it, it's like a noodle shaped tapioca topping, definitely on the chewy side. (A heads up that the strawberry milk tea is slightly blended with ice so don't be alarmed if it there's bits of ice) read more

TP TEAlicious. Wanted to try this place out for some time and glad I did. We ordered the Hot Jasmine Green Tea, Almond Jelly Green Tea, Honey Jasmine Green Tea (yes, a lot of green tea), Taiwan Classic Milk Tea, and Tie Guan Yin Milk Tea. Each of the tea had a unique, yet familiar flavor. The Taiwan Classic Milk Tea was reminiscent of the classic boba milk tea but this one included the QQ noodle (boba consistency but in string form). QQ indeed. I also had a few sips of the Tie Guan Yin Milk Tea and it had a robust tea flavor, although may be because we elected the 30% sugar. Definitely a 180 from the Taiwan Classic Milk Tea but still very enjoyable. The remaining three green teas, I've been informed, were satisfying to the taste buds. Solid and refreshing. This location is tucked away on Main Street near Jamboree in the same strip plaza as Cort Furniture. Plenty of parking in the evening but I can see that it fills up fast during regular business hours. read more

This place had good quality boba tea! Love the quality, def one of the best OC boba spots. Also love the big sizes and cheap prices. It's very popular, so expect to wait some time for your order to be ready. LA needs to step up their game. read more
DELICIOUS. The closest boba you can get from Taiwan. You can definitely tell they do not use syrups like other boba areas. I have been hunting for a great almond milk tea that does not taste like a packful of sugar and TP TEA has done that!!! I am so pleased with their drinks and how much variety you get from their menu. Price: a bit on the pricey side (6.50 with add ons) but you get what you pay for. The size is a one size but I would say the portion matches the price Just found my new go-to boba spot (-: read more

Kiosk ordering, nice modern interior. Try the QQ noodles- special to this boba shop, similar to boba but in the shape of noodles. We ordered the Thai Milk tea, Tie Guan Yin Tea, and Jasmine milk tea. Let me just say, the milk teas are definitely within the best that I've tried in Socal, and I've tried many places. Not a thick creamy texture of milk tea, but the flavor is very creamy, flavorful, and fragrant. 15% of sweetness was enough to taste pretty sweet without overwhelming the tea flavor. I love that this place offers a variety of sugar levels to choose from: 15, 30, 50, 80, 100, and 120%. They offer oat milk as a dairy free alternative too, which is a huge plus for me. Plentiful parking, this has it's own parking lot shared with a few other neighboring businesses. Excited to come back and recommend this location to friends! read more
We got 3Q TP milk tea (Tie Guan Yin milk tea with boba, QQ noodles and coffee jelly) on our first visit and became an instant fan. We adjusted sweetness and ice to our liking, and it was one of the best milk tea we had in a while. The milk tea was outstanding with pronounced tea flavor. The toppings were perfectly chewy and completed the drink. Order in person at the kiosk or you can order ahead for pick up online. read more

Love trying new boba spots in Irvine. High quality teas with a very clean store and giant parking lot. I would def come back to try more drinks and toppings. Their strawberry matcha wasn't too overly sweet which I appreciate. 3 drinks for around $20 here. read more
I've been on a boba binge as of late and this place came up on my recommended. It wasn't too far and there's plenty of parking in the plaza where this place is located. They also have an order system which you can order ahead and pick up your drink which I used. It took about 3 mins for my drink to be ready. I arrive to a small crowd. There's a couple tables tucked in the left corner while some benches on the right. I asked the employee for my drink and he had it ready there. I decided to try Tie Guan Yin Milk Tea with coffee jelly and 50% sugar. They also offer an assortment of jellies too. Tasting it for the first time it was a nice smooth taste that reminded me of a regular milk tea and with a taste of coffee cause of the jelly. It was delicious! It is a more premium priced boba place but the workers here are friendly and the service is fast and efficient. I would take advantage of ordering online and picking up so you can avoid the bigger lines cause I do hear this place can get busy. With no complaints here, definitely give this place a try! read more
I've been waiting for them to open in SoCal for the longest time! Locates on Main St. in this small plaza with plenty of parking. Ever since their soft opening, this has been the one and only boba place I go. As a native Taiwanese, I miss my wide range of choices for toppings and decent strong teas. It's hard to say no when they offer QQ noodles (My favorite). Basically, boba in noodle form. They also have jelly cake (golden jelly) which isn't on the topping menu but can ask them as a topping option to your drinks. I would say the texture of the jelly cake isn't as jello-y as I'd like. My go to drinks are wintermelon TGY, TGY latte, and aiyu Lemon. They're well known for their TGY which is usually hard to go wrong with and probably one of the best out there. I personally enjoy the strong TGY flavor which balance well with the wintermelon sweetness or milk. Aiyu lemon is refreshing during the hot days and I love they have aiyu which always works better with citrusy drinks compare to grass jelly. I haven't really gone to other boba shops ever since they open and I hope they can keep their consistency with their tea/toppings. read more

This is my favorite boba shop in Irvine! Originally from Taiwan, TP Tea is pumping out high quality drinks in SoCal. It's a small shop with cute decor and always smells like fresh tea. There's lots of parking in the plaza, but few seats and tables inside the store. I order through the kiosk and drinks come out quickly. Workers are friendly and provide efficient service. I highly recommend the TIE GUAN YIN MILK TEA with coffee jelly or QQ noodles! The perfect sweetness for me is at 30%, so that rich, toasty oolong tea shines through! The coffee jelly is addicting. The QQ noodles have a fun chewy texture. TP Tea never disappoints! read more
We came right before the rush. They have to self service kiosks. We saw a register and heard someone from another group asking if they can order at the front. They were told that due to short of staff, everybody had to order through the kiosks. Kiosks - There's a 2-3 delays with any of the inputs. Restroom - None Snackpass - You can order your drinks online for pickup. Drinks - Ordered a total of four drinks. Not overly sweet like other boba places. Love that they have a variety of topping selection as well as ice and sugar adjustments. Bonus is that some of the drinks can be sub with oat milk. You can also earn points for future drinks. We also didn't have to wait long. The drinks came out pretty quick. read more
PSA: Order online to save time! TP Tea is definitely the new hype boba place in town! I ordered the TGY Milk Tea, Mango Milk Tea and Jasmine Green Milk Tea. The TGY is basically just an oolong milk tea, but I really liked it. The boba included is a smaller size than you'd find at other boba shops, and it has a great consistency. I really liked the Mango Milk Tea of them all because it tasted very fresh. This would be a great drink to have in the summer. I tried the almond jello as well, and it was so great. I'd definitely be back to try more! read more
Irvine tea competition is heating up. TP Tea is a great addition to an already stacked field. Their Jasmine tea is my favorite in the area. It's smooth and not too bitter. When I got the jasmine milk tea, it tasted like one of those fruit jelly cups. The Tie Guan Yin (Oolong) latte is pretty tasty. It has that acidic, smokey, and nutty flavor of oolong, but it's not overpowering. I thought the latte version tasted better than the milk tea. The Boba Milk Tea is their black tea offering. If you like to drink oolong, assam, ceylon, chrysanthemum teas, don't get this. If you like BLKDOT milk tea or other "basic" milk tea drinks (TapEx, etc), it's good. Honestly, BLKDOT is probably going to be more your speed if you like this drink. For the toppings, the regular boba is unimpressive. It's hard and flavorless, even though it has the brown sugar color. QQ Noodles are flavorless, but fun and gritty texture. Tea Jelly has a good soft texture, but it's flavorless. Coffee Jelly has good flavor and good texture. It has a bite and it tastes like coffee (surprise!). The salted cream cheese foam was top notch, it was incredible with the jasmine tea. For sweetness, I'd say it's average or sweeter. 100% is very sweet, I get 80%. If you go on weekdays before 5, there's no line. Also, you can order from the app. All in all, I'm coming back, since I love the Jasmine tea here and Omomo always has a huge line ha! Seriously, if you're nearby, give this place a visit. There's plenty of toppings and the tea is solid. read more

It's been months since I first discovered TP Tea on accident when they first opened and it remains my favorite tea shop! The Tie Guan Yin Latte is wonderful. I did not like the after taste of the Tie Guan Yin from orobae and was reluctant to try it here for a while but I'm glad I did. Also tried the Tie guan yin milk tea and it's good but tastes very similar to the regular milk tea. The Tie guan yin fragrance and taste is more prominent in the latte compared to the milk tea version. read more

We were stuck in traffic and wanted to find a boba place near the freeway to take a break. Thanks to the Yelp community we found this great place! We ordered from the kiosk and our boba drinks were ready pretty quickly. They had a steady flow of customers and door dash orders. They had about 6-7 workers which helped facilitate the orders. We ordered the strawberry matcha latte with boba-80% sweet, mango milk tea with boba -100% sweet and the jasmine green milk tea with boba-100% sweet. Prices were comparable to most boba shops. All the drinks were delicious. Generous portions of boba in each drink. Each sip had a mouthful of boba! Their boba is medium size with great texture -chewy and soft. I'm glad we found this place! Highly recommend this place! read more
The boba wasn't what I had expected, maybe I've been spoiled by the default honey bobas. Texture was good but it had no flavor so it didn't really add anything to my drink. I did give the popular QQ jelly a try but I guess I'm just an old fashioned boba fan. If you can get past the bland boba, then the drinks are good and strong. They made the drinks to the perfect sweetness that I ordered. We ordered online, it was ready within 5 mins of placing the order on a weekend. So that was convenient! read more
I have a cult following for TP Tea. I first found this chain in the bay a couple of years ago and it left such a good impression. I always recommend this to my friends visiting the bay and to my surprise, this place opened here a couple of months ago. The word of TP Tea has already spread in SoCal as there is always a line here. My favorite drink here is the boba mango milk tea. It has such creamy milk and a strong fresh mango taste. Can't find this flavor combo in many shops. Another good option is the Taiwan classic milk tea which comes with QQ noodles, boba, and grass jelly. This is perfect for topping lovers. All their drinks taste fresh and are made with quality products. This shop is more of a to-go boba shop since there's no table and not many places to sit. They have two screens to order your drinks from. Luckily, there is plenty of parking in the plaza. I wish this place opened later though. The shop closes at 9 pm daily. read more

One of my favorite boba spot in Irvine! You can order online on the Toast or Snackpass app for pickup or they have kiosk in the store where you can order. They also have seating inside as well. My favorite drinks is the tieguanyin milk tea, passion fruit green tea and the strawberry matcha latte. I usually get it with 50% or 80% sweetness for the drinks. I would recommend this spot to get your boba fix! read more
My friend recommended this tea shop and I'm glad I tried it. They have good aiyu jelly which most places don't have, miss it from Taiwan so i was glad this place had it. The golden osm oolong was also light and refreshing! Would definitely get again! Cute and simple interior, the drink took less than 5 minutes even though they had quite a few orders. read more
Got their taiwan classic milk tea which has boba, qq noodle, and grass jelly with 50% sugar and less ice. The sweetness was just right and the qq noodles had a good texture . Can't beat the ones I tried in Taiwan but it is really close to it. Love that I found my new favorite boba place! If only I lived closer but would definitely come back when I am around the area! read more
