The pizza is really good - I have not had a bad one yet. The other items such as salad and bread knots are also really good. Seriously the food is on point every time! The prices are pretty affordable for the amount of food that you get. Everyone who works there has been very friendly and accommodating. The only complaint I have is that it can reallllly backed up sometimes. I was tight on time recently and was going to grab a premade salad, but staff was making all of the pizzas, and there was no one dedicated to the register. I had to put my item back and head out. No worries, though, I will probably grab something from there this weekend. read more

My new favorite place to get square pizza (square is also better than triangle!) I got the 3rd street personal pizza, which is 8", and the cheesy garlic bread, which was also 8", and these were so beyond delicious and were the perfect size to feed just me and probably someone else. The cheesy bread was probably my favorite. The slices were pretty big, and each bite you could taste the garlic and cheese. It was perfectly cooked and had a buttery taste on the edges. The 3rd street pizza was also pretty good. The sausage was scattered throughout the pizza, and the pieces were pretty big. Same with the pepperoni. Again, with each bite, you got a little bit of everything on it, which I liked. This was 4 normal size pieces with each slice being an end piece. This is located downtown BR, so parking isn't the best, but don't let this stop you from coming. The restaurant is adorable, and you can even watch you pizza being made. The star of this show is the pizza, and it's square. They cut it in four pieces that are also square, and each has a nice corner. It's got a great crust, but what really makes it special are the high quality fresh toppings. You can get some premade options or build your own. The proprietors told me that their pizza is cooked hot and fast, which results in it being ready faster, but it also being really fresh and tasty. Okay I tried again one Saturday and again on a Sunday that they were open due to a parade. The pizza is very good. You order at the back and tell them what you want on it. There are a few speciality pizza's and then build your own. We decided on build your own with a side of hot honey drizzle. We enjoyed it and will definitely be back. We lucked up and got a table in doors the Saturday we went. The spot is small inside so there's not much seating. Let's get cheesy and be squared !!!!! If pizza is what you're craving and you're looking for something that's different then head into downtown Baton Rouge and stop by this little hidden joint. This is not your typical pizza place. Yes it's a BYOP but it's not a round shape it's SQUARE pizza !!! You have a choice of 8" or 12" pizzas with a choice up to 6 toppings when you build your own. They have 6 signature pizzas options that they have put together if you don't want to build your own pie. I came here for a Yelp event and I will say I'm still dreaming of their Town Square Pepperoni Pizza it was delicious. Just the right combination of soft and crunchy on the sides that just melted with every bit. We did start off with their cheesy garlic bread and it was more like a plain cheese pizza with chunks of fresh garlic. I think the garlic should be finely chopped up because every bit was like I was prepared to face Dracula. It was good but I wasn't a fan of the huge garlic chunks. We also had the breadsticks which was a blend of herbs and spices with olive oil. The breadsticks were ok it was more on the drier side and too much herb and spices. It was full of flavor but too crunchy for me. As we ate the breadsticks we could smell the next dish. It was their most popular dish and oh boy was it delicious. The Town Square Pepperoni was not only delicious but like I said every single bite was perfect. It has the right combination of sauce, cheese and pepperoni. In my opinion this is best when eaten straight from out of the oven when it's hot and fresh. Now don't get me wrong it would taste good when you get home but I like super hot and fresh. Next up was their North Blvd. pizza. This one was made with the garlic sauce instead of their tomato sauce topped with chicken chunks, mozzarella, artichoke hearts and spinach. This one was ok not my favorite. This needed a little more love for some flavor I didn't taste any garlic and the artichoke hearts were bigger than the grilled chicken. If this one had the garlic flavor from the garlic bread and the artichokes were either shaved thinner and less I think would've been perfect. I will be back to try out other pizzas from their menu. The staff is super nice and they were very friendly and helpful. Now don't worry if you are vegan they have options for you too. Two types of vegan meats to choose from and they also have vegan cheese to top your pizza off. read more

I firstly want to say that this pizza was a 10/10! It was very fresh from the meats to the dough. I could not complain one bit. However I'm not sure if it's because it's a newer business or improper training but their system needs to be worked on. I wasn't sure if I pay first or receive my order first than pay. If it's the second option that's very risky because you never know who has the funds to eat. Something else about the service was just off. When I was working downtown many years ago there was a pizza place and oh I so enjoyed it---there must not have been enough like me as that place did not make it and then no more pizza---within walking distance that is. I no longer work downtown and do not get there often but when I was there recently I had the pleasure to try this place---it's good and filling and something different to choose for the folks downtown---the only downside is that this not like the current cafeteria style pizza joints where you get a 2 cm crust pizza---no this is more like a pan pizza place but because of that it's not fast food! You go inside, there are several pizzas on the menu or you can make your own---the pizzas on the menu have a downtown theme description which confused me but for the imaginative makes for good talk. The workers have always been polite and helpful but you cannot rush the pizza. There are 4 tables inside and a few tables outside for outdoor dining. I really like this place but if I only have 30 minutes or less I will have to go somewhere else so that's why it's a 4 star instead of a 5 star rating read more

Tired here for the first time today. Overall, the flavor of everything is good but the execution needs some work. The crust has a lot of potential, and maybe if you eat there it's better, but it quickly turns into a sloggy mess when taking to go. I could barely pick up a piece without everything sliding off. That being said, some of the toppings need to be cut smaller and not left in such huge chunks. I'll try again in a few months when they've had a chance to work out the kinks. read more
