    6 WINGS meal

This place is COOL. This location is right across from the LSU Tiger Stadium in Baton Rouge. You walk in & see nothing but cool, interesting sports related decor. I can easily see this being the go to place to eat and hang out during sports season. Chad assisted my boyfriend and I when it came to what to order. I got the Parmesan wing deal, which came with fries and a drink & my boyfriend got their pepperoni pizza slice combo that came with a caesar salad and drink. Everything was made to our personal specifications and was really good. I used to think Chic Fil A had the best waffle fries, but Fat Boys easily takes the cake. I have not one complaint. If you're in the area give them a try.

    Fat Yays, raw dough inside

I was excited to try this place, but it's awful. I ordered their 2x anniversary special and a side of fat yays. The pizza was absolutely abysmal, genuinely the worst I've ever had anywhere. When I opened the boxes, the pizza in both was all squished up like it was haphazardly thrown in. The crust is overly thin and hard, the cheese seemed to want to get divorced from it (it barely stayed on), and there was some leafy green topping I didn't order that was inside some of the slices. I was hoping the fat yays would be good, and they were admittedly until I had a second one. Raw dough in the middle. I really hope I don't get sick from that. Additionally, literally everything was just so soggy for some reason. This is my first and last time ordering from this place.

The best lunch special around! I got half a slice of cheese pizza, a full Caesar salad and drink for just about $10! It was such a steal and delicious. Fat Boys is located right near my work, so I thought why not stop in for lunch. I had no idea they had a frat lunch specials, so I decided to get that! I thought the half slice want going to be enough, but it was huge and actually filled me up. Same thoughts with the side salad, I thought it was going to be small, but no, it was huge! I ordered and within 5 minutes, my order came out and the pizza was actually hot, like it just came out of the oven. Fat Boys had a great atmosphere inside with plenty of sports games on and was very clean. I will totally be back for more!

It is HUGE! I'm sorry to say, but the size is better than the taste

I've been thinking about this for days!..... I don't know whether to be honest or say nothing. I have never really given a bad review. Forgive me. This is my own opinion and I am rightfully wrong on many things! IT IS A BIIIGGGG PIZZA!!! No lie, that's friggin cool!!! It costs $50 (at least). The toppings are sparse. That's NOT cool. It's not cooked enough. It's floppy AF. The crust has the flavor of a cracker. I've been wanting to try this for a year!!! I'm so disappointed. Little Caesars is better. I'm so sorry and apologize for this review. I had to ask every member of our family. No one likes it. My opinion. Maybe I'm wrong. I'm so sorry, but I'll never order again.

I just had to try the 2ft pepperoni & cheese pizza challenge and fail miserably. There was no way that I could have finished that in 7 minutes; how does the champion even finish the pizza in 39 seconds?? Overall though, it was a fun experience to test my limits. #batonrougela #lamchoponthegeaux #fatboypizza #lsu

Every slice I got was burned and tasted old. I get its thin slices but it was almost inedible to me. And it was extremely greasy.

Fat Boys Pizza is a good place to get one slice of pizza. I had the cheese pizza which the flavor was lacking. My husband had the all the way pizza which was better than mine. The garlic knots were lacking that garlic taste but the marinara sauce that it came with was really good. I would definitely give it another try. The ambiance of this pizza place is smaller and more of a bar vibe. The service is simple. You order and then sit down. Overall, this is a decent place to try out when on LSU's campus.

Flavor and quality: The pizza is big and has good flavor. My pizza was slightly dried out when I ate it, but that could be from me getting takeout and driving home before eating it (Even though it was a short drive). It does seem like the pizza is made from quality materials. Price: It is pricey. My family got three pieces of pizza (cheese, barbecue, and trinity) and ranch and ended up paying $25. I probably won't go here again simply based on the price. Summary: I would recommend going here simply based on the size of the pizza. If you are willing to spend the money, it's worth trying at least once.

Mozzarella logs with sauce. You get 4 huge logs...someone just couldn't wait.

Found it a little hit or miss. As a former Philly girl, mainly went because I heard they make their calzone with ricotta, many Baton Rouge establishments don't make their calzones correctly, and because they had hoagies. I loved the marinara sauce. The mozzarella logs are huge and delicious. The cheese calzone was also everything I could want. So, so good. However, it was only the size of a hamburger; much smaller than I anticipated. For only $6.99, it is something I would absolutely order again. Possibly tomorrow. I'd never buy the hoagie again. It was tiny and had hardly meat or cheese. Not worth the $9.99 price. The garlic knots were fine and unremarkable. Wouldn't get them again either.

Enjoying some pizza after lsu smoked Florida.

If your looking for a great piece of pizza for a decent price, check this place out. I'd give them a 8.7. The atmosphere is great, and so is the view. Be careful if you order a whole pizza, it's alot to eat.

Great pizza and wings. I got a slice of the meat lovers and a 6 piece Asian chili wing. I was really surprised at how good the wings were. School is out and I went on a weekday right when they opened so it was pretty empty, which was great. Between this and Torchy's that little strip is a solid food spot any time of year. But if the students normally scare you off, summer is a great time to go.

I looked around and saw that all of the tables inside were reserved and we were lucky enough to be seated on the patio, where there were also a good number of tables reserved. It wasn't too bad being outside because they had some space heaters, and the table we were at had a nice view of the sunset. There was also live music, which to us was a huge plus. Our server was Chloe, and she was great! Attentive enough that we never had to wait for anything, and very pleasant. We started with a mule for me and an espresso martini for my friend. She says it's one of the best, if not the best, espresso martini she has had in Baton Rouge. My mule was the just strong enough to hit the spot. As far as our food goes, we loved how fresh the bruschetta tasted and how the meatballs practically melted in your mouth. My friend preferred the Lil Peppa because she liked their red sauce a lot and I preferred the salsiccia con potate (mozzarella, Italian sausage, roasted potatoes and rosemary with a white sauce) because I found the flavor combinations interesting. I favored the tiramisu, while she favored the cannoli. We were both in agreement that we would come back and get all of these again, so they were all winners to us.

There's no organization to what anyone is doing. The dining room tables aren't bussed and about five walk-ins and me are waiting for online orders. There's nobody directing the kitchen and no front-end person catering to the three tables there. Now I've worked in restaurants for half my working life and some in grad school. These deficiencies are exacerbated by not having a firm managerial hand. It's what happens when everyone is in their 20s with little to no experience in the world reacting to a rush rather than being proactive. There's no reason why I should wait 20 mins for two pizzas when I get there after ordering it 15 mins prior to leaving my house just down the street and 5 or 6 staff working. There were enough people to handle the rush if they had more leadership and direction. That's the sad part.

The service was great and the vibe is nice. There are some menu modifications like the initial smoked wings now being fried and a slight variation in the wing sauces. The new pizza crust has too much cornmeal in the recipe. The old thin crust was the way to go with minimal cornmeal if it had it at all before. Cheese sticks were slightly burnt at the bottom and too much cornmeal in its crust also. Wings were good but my family and I prefer the smoked vs fried a hundred times over. Hot honey wing sauce was delicious. Decent visit overall but honestly not a huge fan of the food changes other than the location. Will try again soon.
