This store is always clean and gives off great vibes. The staff you can see as busy as bees and always helpful. The food is amazing! I love the Pesto Pollo pizza. My experience today at the Juban location was extremely poor. Walking in no one working seemed to want to be there. Not even the MOD (or who claimed to be the manager. Not sure it's appropriate nor sanitary to be wearing a septum piercing on a food line as a manager). Whole staff had unwelcoming attitudes and seemed to be upset we were holding up their cleaning duties. My girlfriend and I were very excited to try the POM, but honestly the staffs attitudes made me lose my appetite. My girlfriend wanted extra lime and Vera de sauce for hers, and when asked the gentleman stepped off the line while saying I have to ask my manager and see if we can do that. Comes back and tells me "we can't do that" I asked him, sorry? He then repeated that his manager told him that we can't do that" I then asked to speak to said manager. Personal claiming to be a manager comes out. I asked her to step off to the side with me as to not make a scene in front of her staff. I explained what happened and she then tells me we could have those items but at an extra cost. I explained to her that would be fine, but I was never offered a chance to pay for the extra items and that I was just told no, I couldn't have them. I also told her that I thought allowing her employees to have drinks on the line was also against health codes and is extremely unsanitary. My wife has wanted us to try Lit Pizza for quite a while and today, we got our chance. Right off the bay, we could see the this pizza place was different than any of the others we had been to. We chose the 2+ toppings pizza for $8.50. It appears they only have one style and size of crust. You pick the sauce you want, the cheese and the toppings. Everything was where you could see it being placed on your pizza. The setup is very similar to the way Subway is when you order your sandwiches. I liked the setup. Everything appears to be fresh. For our pizza, we chose hamburger, red onions, and roasted red peppers. We fixed our drinks and sat down. In about 5 minutes, our name was called to come get our pizza. We thought we were going to have leftovers, but knew after the first slice, there would be no leftovers from this pizza. Hands down, one of the best pizzas I've had. read more

I visited this restaurant for the first time today. Wow! I was pleasantly surprised! Usually I settle for one or two toppings at pizzerias to prevent the crust from getting soggy, but today I was starving and decided to be ballsy. My date got a more simplistic pizza than I did (first picture, mine in the second). She said that the only thing she would change is: trade out habanero honey for the basalmic glaze. I didn't try hers because mine was too yummy, but she thought mine was delicious. Haha. Ingredients for both of our pizzas are listed in the description of the photos. I may be impartial to the roasted garlic and habanero honey glaze because I'm a sucker for both of those, but they were my favorite part of my meal - along with the perfectly crispy thin crust. Highly recommend this restaurant. Additional review: I didn't know whether I wanted a calzone or a pizza, so I asked the older gentleman behind me in line what he would choose. After we both made it through the line, I made a joke about how many toppings I got on my pizza, and he smiled and told me that it wasn't silly to get seemingly random ingredients. That's the fun of it. He told me that every time he visits the restaurant, he gets something different and promised me that after trying their food, I would frequent the restaurant as often as he does. I love some Lit. I love the name Lit. It's a good name LMAO. Anyways.. this particular location has been on the up and down with me. Months ago, they wouldn't make my son and I a pizza cuz they said they were "already closed" yet the front door was unlocked, other customers were still waiting for their orders, employees were still making food ffs... I mean yeah I walked in at two minutes to close but The Door Was Unlocked. The "little man"ager said some bs about company protocol and they can't lock the doors with customers still inside. Well I work in a restaurant .. that excuse was pathetic to me . Okay so fast forward to present day and I went back to this location and I can't not say how much eating this pizza made me feel like I was somewhere other than Baton Rouge. It was delicious and had all my favs on it... cuz I picked them out of course lol. Pepperoni, ground beef, bacon, minced garlic, fresh mozzarella, basil, parmesan... ALL GOOD THINGS. So Lit is new in DS but I have water here before outside of LA and in BR. I knew the concept of the place. Of course it was packed. I mean the line was around the restaurant because it is so new in DS. My family and I went around dinner time 5-6 pm. The line had the potential to move a little faster but some ppl needed explaining on how this works. There were others who had to call ppl to ask what toppings they wanted. I love lit pizza but, my wife and I went in to the Denham Springs location 45 mins before they closed when we placed our order they asked was it for here or togo we both stated for here. When our pizza's where done they placed them in boxes as I expected because they closed in less than an hour, so we sat down at a table with the boxes to eat and what I didn't expect was for one the the workers to start sweeping the mats on the floor by the drink machines across from where we were sitting and she threw the mats on the seat next to where I was sitting after she had shaken them off a couple of times to get the remaining dust out of them( how ridiculous and rude to do such a thing in the immediate area where folks are eating) maybe this and other locations should look into closing the dining area an hour before closing and only do togo orders if it's going to be a problem, that way staff can have time to clean before they close. We as customers pay to much money nowadays to be treated substandard, this was a very unpleasant experience for me as well as my wife and businesses need to start understanding that we do have choices as customer's. read more

They're finally open! I'm so excited that they came to Denham! I came on opening day at 11:30pm and beat the rush. But they managed the line extremely well and were very well staffed. I got the pizza of the month which was enchilada and super tasty. I loved the Crema & Cilantro, and I added habanero honey and a little ranch. The fresh jalapeños weren't overly spicy, just right. They cooked the cauliflower crust perfectly (it's easy to burn.) They have great salads, drinks, beer, wine, and cookies too. 10/10 will be back! Also free wifi! Staff is still wearing masks (5/5/21) but guests don't have to wear them. read more

Been to this location many times so a review is necessary. Staff is friendly and service is quick. Pizza here are good. Only complaint is that they need to provide the oven staff more help or reduce the number of pizza they can bake at a given time by a person. The reason is that some of my pizza tend to be a little burnt, especially when it gets busy. read more
