Great home cooked country grub done right. Cinnamon rolls are out of this world. Wonderful lunch buffet.

This place is more like a 3.5 out of 5 stars…read more this is kinda sad, but before coming to OKC, i really wanted to check out a place that serves an onion burger. I read about them on wikipedia... and apparently Oklahoma was the first one to create them. they were made during the great depression, were the owner would mash onion with the beef patty to stretch out the meat.... and back then, burgers were 5 cents. Fast forward to almost 100 years later, my burger was about 11 bucks. Don't get me wrong, the burger was decently sized, but it was just alright. I mean, if i wanted to get an onion burger i could simply go to in n out and get a burger with grilled onions and raw onion as well. so, while the burgers were good, it didn't wow me and maybe it was too hyped up and it didn't live to its hype, is the reason i only gave it 3 stars. The fries on the other hand were great. The parking lot right in front is really small, but there are plenty of seats inside and outside.

So we settled for an onion burger from here after seeing this location featured on a YouTube video of Route 66 travel in Oklahoma by a couple. What their onion burger looked like verses what ours was, is laughable. Theirs had onions piled high, ours had a thimble full of onions. The burger still had a great flavor and the fries were next level yet I kept thinking about the one we saw on the video and how ours compared. The service was great and the indoor dining was clean and comfortable. I would give this place another try, making sure to order extra onions just to make sure it lived up to my expectations a bit more.

Located in the Parlor, a pretty open area and interior dining grounds with many tables and chairs - also next to the bar if you want to go there later or afterwards to get alcoholic drinks. I just returned here after years since Parlor is outside of burger-driving-range from my house…read more The menu had changed a lot with plenty of new additions, which is awesome, but I was worried that the core burgers may have changed too. While some of the wording was different, I was able to order the exact same burger I fell in love with years ago and the flavor instantly sent me back to the first time I tried it. I ordered the MOB XL Burger Basket with Jalapenos, avocado, and loaded fries. The jalapenos here aren't just regular jalapenos. They are flavor country (also very hot). If you like spicy food, these are the best burger jalapenos in the city imo. My gf ordered the regular single with jalapenos and was annihilated by the spice. She's kind of a wimp when it comes to spice but she trucked through it because the flavors are so good. Long story short, this is still my fav burger in OKC (by a long shot). The fact that this place isn't always highly-rated in a state where people worship Whataburger and Braum's borders on absurdity. MOB is similar to Tucker's but better in every way. It absolutely annihilates S&B and the Garage in flavor. The only possible downside is if you want a tame burger, then sure this isn't the place for you. But if you are big into flavor, this place will take care of you better than your mama. Now that they have delivery options to my house, I will definitely experiment with the other menu items. Thanks Marco!

We found only a brunch menu until 4. So about only option that wasn't breakfast type was fried pickles and one hamburger. Yelp, ordered them and hamburger was pretty good. I really wish now we had waited for dinner. We did get to watch line dance lessons while we ate today. This place is set up to hold larger groups to dine and party together. The major neg was the flies! Lots of flies! Not even any of the garage doors open ? They have lots of outdoor seating too. Huge bar inside goes all the way around the oval bar station. Room to back has several pool tables and of course the riding bull. Rugged place good for drinking, entertainment nights. Love to come back on a Tuesday evening for karaoke.

The rolls look dense and heavy but they're surprisingly light and sweet. Mac and cheese gives a 'queso' vibe which is addictive. Okra is hand breaded. The steak was ok. Honestly not a fan of the jalapeño glaze so even in the side it was a bit hot. If the steak was seasoned, it was bleak because the meat was extremely bland. But it was hot and fresh and Mikayla, our server, took the best care of us!! We will be back! Wifey tip- the drinks look impressive! Everyone around us was partaking. Yummy!

I really wanted to try the pink fries, but the pink sauce was very underwhelming. i don't know, i still couldn't pinpoint what the exact flavor "pink" was supposed to be. Online it says garlic, but i definitely was not getting any garlic flavor with the pink sauce. I also got the california burger and it was decent, but nothing really special about it. for 10 bucks, the burger was just alright. I think the best thing about this place is that its located right next to the Scissortail park, where you can pick up food and eat in the park.
