I recently purchased a 2024 Telluride SX-Prestige X Pro. On my first visit I test drove the SX X Pro with the Prestige package. It was equipped with the digital rear view camera mirror and upgraded head liner. I didn't purchase on the initial visit. On my next visit I drove the SX X Pro without the Prestige option. After the test drive I asked about the one with the mirror and headliner upgrades and they told me that was the Prestige. The Prestige is the one I wanted and they brought it up front to see. I asked about all of the option differences between the two models. Salesman told me it was the mirror and headliner. I asked if there were any other differences, and was told there were not. We had the sticker from the SX X Pro in hand. I wasn't shown the sticker to the Prestige model, and continued with purchase. A big difference in the two models I drove is wheel and tire size. The initial sticker I looked at says 20" rims. The model I purchased has 18" rims. I was led to believe by the uninformed salesman that they both had 20" rims. I failed to check before purchase. While at Discount Tire to purchase a wider tire, they pointed out the 18" rims and I was surprised. I called the salesman and he went to work to see why my vehicle had 18" rims. Told him I wanted 20" rims. He called me back and said my model was supposed to have 20" rims. I asked if I were purchase a set if the dealer would reimburse and they take back the 18" rims. He called me back and said that he had cleared that and told me to move ahead with the purchase. I would have not made the purchase without the dealership giving me the go ahead. After the purchase, I was then informed that the standard model came with 20" rims but they added to/in place of, standard 18" rims. I kept all the correspondence telling me to how to handle the discrepancy. After telling me that they would make it right, they then told me they wouldn't. The salesman just wanted the sale. I know I should have paid closer attention to every detail and compared both stickers. That's on me. Trying to double check with the salesman, and him telling me to move ahead with the new rims/tires I believe is on the dealership. The dealership continued to say they would work something out. They won't. They screen calls and don't return calls. The typical dishonest and scamming stereotype attached to car salesman and dealerships applies when dealing with Towbin Kia. I even had TrueCar give me the numbers. The only thing missing on TrueCar was the residual value (65% for those wondering). I found a website that was able to give me all the numbers I wanted all while they had me sitting around for an hour 'working the numbers'. How interesting that a dealership has to 'work the numbers'. I mean, it is a dealership that sells new vehicles. They didn't open up yesterday or last month. So you would think that selling new vehicles they could get you prices as fast as the dealership I found online and respect your time. Towbin Kia was such a pleasure to work with. I was looking for a specific color and trim for a 2023 Sorento SX. We visited the dealership with our 2 boys (1. 10 Week old & 9yr old) on a Friday. Marcus helped us out to show us what features the 2023 Sorento SX had, explained the difference between hybrid, 2.5L Turbo, & plug in versions of the car. Unfortunately at that time we wasn't ready to buy and we didn't see the trim/color we wanted, so we left that day empty handed. Friday - Tuesday we continued to look for the color/trim and called other dealerships with no luck. Tuesday evening we seen the exact one we wanted on their website and called in to see if they actually had the car in stock. Roberto took the time to look up the stock # and physically checked the lot to see if they had the car. Which they did! You could approve on your ethical behavior. We purchased a Kia Niro EV and it won't charge properly. We have documentation for a year now. Kia service refuses to admit anything is wrong with it. We can't take this vehicle out of town because it takes over 30 hours to fully charge. My husband travels around town for work and can't do that many days because it doesn't charge or have enough miles on it. This company has an "F" rating with the Better Business Bureau. We should have looked at that before we purchased from this company that rob's people. Stay AWAY from this company! The panel under the rear side window is cracking, You have to almost be standing on top of it for the fob to work. Towbin Kia refused to repair these issues obviously caused by poor quality workmanship and material. It also had 3 recalls already and the fuel system needed repaired. On 05/09/2024 I decided to look at the website "TowbinKia.com" to look for another vehicle to hopefully purchase and to trade in our currently "2021 Kia Niro FE/LX in Deep Cerulian". I entered my phone number onto the website and a Sales Representative named Evan called me to schedule an appointment for the next day on 05/10/2024 @ 8:00am. So, I spoke to my husband because, we were thinking of getting a bigger vehicle as having a little vehicle "Kia Niro FE/LX" wasn't sufficient with not enough space to take my dogs, luggages, walker (elderly), and ourselves. My husband and I went to the dealership at 8:00am and we spoke to Evan and he said that the original Sales person wasn't going to be there until later that day, so he gave us another sales person "Joseph Vargas as Lead Manager". Evan took us to the vehicle on their lot and we were to look and view the vehicle in full. I have done some research regarding this "2024 Kia Carnival EX in Astra Blue" prior to going to this dealership. I am absolutely disgusted with my experience at this place while the salesman was nice he must have thought I was an idiot. I walked in and said I was looking for a car between 20 and $25,000 the salesman said it would probably be best to get a new car so he can negotiate the price and have more wiggle room. So he showed me a Kia Forte. One was the sport one and it was a little bit out of my budget it was upwards 27,000. He advised me he probably couldn't get the payment that I wanted with the more expensive one and to go for it the cheaper one which was around 23,000. The first time he comes back he tells me they're going to give me 3000 for my car for a trade-in I told him I previously went to Honda and they offered me 6000 for the car so he comes back and says OK will give you 8600 for the car. That was a major red flag because that was a HUGE leap. They truly try to make it seem like I was getting a deal of a lifetime but in reality they just added the additional money they said they were willing to give me for the trade in- to the price of the vehicle I was going to purchase. A SCAMMMMMMM!!!!! So the vehicle went from 23,000 to 27,000. Anyway... The real kicker is at the end I was just kind of like you know what I'll take a car that's around $15,000 that you have on this lot you said you'll give me 8000 for my car and I will attach a picture below I said I was gonna put $2000 cash down so that's 10 grand so now I only have to finance $5000 right easy I'm thinking. This man looked me straight in the face and says to me you wouldn't get approved for that car "you need like a 720 credit score that's like what parents buy their kid for a first car" ... So you mean to tell me I just got approved for the Optima and for the forte but you're gonna sit here and say I'm just letting you know your approval rate is probably going to be very low for that like I was born yesterday. Let's be honest the truth is you said you would give me $8000 for my car even though you knew it really wasn't worth $8000.... but you thought you were gonna get one over on me by adding it into the price of the car like I wouldn't notice. Like WHAT? So when I switched up and said I wanted something cheaper ...that $8000 wasn't gonna work for you anymore and you were going to do whatever it took to make me feel like I would be an absolute idiot to even try to purchase a cheaper car cause It would have been a loss for y'all. read more

When we got there, we were told it wasn't available anymore by Daniel, mind you, this was a couple of hours after we got texted the special & Zachary would show it & take care of us but Zachary wasn't available either. We were shown a 2026 instead of 2025 like the special for 12,000 USD more! I kept telling Daniel we wanted a car priced similarly than the special we were told but he seemed to ignore me every time I'd ask . Daniel took us to a table & would go to his manager to get us what we wanted... right! He'd come back & it was never the same price, always more, & their compromise was to give add more time to the loan to pay less monthly & wouldn't tell us what interest rate they were using. Terrible, uncomfortable, pushy experience. We ended up going to Findlay Kia on Sahara and buying a 2025 for even less $$ than the special and a very good experience over all. read more

SERVICE DEPARTMENT I used to like bringing my car to their service department but they have become too unreliable to use any longer. The last few times have been an aggravating experiences. You are lucky if you can make an appointment a month in advance. So when I do make an appointment for a simple oil change and you tell me two hours I really don't expect to wait 5 hours. If you call a service rep, they don't answer, and they don't call you back when you leave your number. If you have an emergency with your car good luck! You can drop it off and maybe they will get a chance to look at it in a week or more. They are too busy to handle my business so I have to stop bringing my car in until they expand and grow their business. It no longer makes sense for me. read more

Im sure that they sell decent cars, my main issue is the maintenance center. Over priced for anything you want done. I did a side by side comparison between their pricing/work completed compared to other shops. My conclusion was that it's a waste of time and money to come here because they are usually higher and have, on avg, higher wait times. Additionally, no complementary services such as fluids and tire rotation is ever given. Even if its promoted and encouraged, they wont do it. If they are not getting paid even more money, they wont do anything. Business is business, sure, but you may be better off saving elsewhere for any work thats needed. read more
