As you can probably see by how many reviews I've left on here, I really don't like giving places bad reviews because I know it can really impact their business. However, this place really rubbed me the wrong way. About a year ago, I bought a used early 90s Ford 460 engine from them with a warranty on eBay that it was guaranted to be in decent running condition. They stated in the ad it is probably good to change the oil pan gasket so I dropped the pan and immediately found water in the oil pan. I called the owner because I thought this was strange and he stated it was probably beause they just powerwashed it. I found this unlikely, but took their word for it. After installing it, it had a badly blown head gasket on the passenger side that would shoot puddles of water out of the exhaust. So I pulled the heads and had them resurfaced and installed pretty much all new gaskets. After I got it all back together, it would still immediately put water in the oil, but not nearly as bad as before. However, I knew the block had to be cracked where the head gasket blewn badly on the passenger side. I tried contacting the owner on eBay, but they started completely ignoring my messages. I tried to get my money back through PayPal, but because they said it was over 30 days, they said no. So with the original purchase price plus redoing the head gaskets, I'm out about $1,500, a lot of time, and just have to get a whole new shortblock. Some communication about how they could replace it or a partial refund, and I definitely wouldn't be writing this review. However, after this experience, I'd definitely stay away from this place. read more

I was very disappointed in the way they handled my sale on the phone for a part that is available at their location by me!They were quick to take my payment but never disclosed that it would take 3 days to get the part. I was stopped by the police and almost got a ticket for no break light! I was let go with a warning but if they catch me again its a ticket. This is the second time that we've had an issue with B & R. This time we waited in line for over 30 minutes and once it was our turn the guy said to hold on because he also had people on hold. We were then received by the other cashier and we provided the quote number and they found it. We had spoken to them over the phone and they told us that we can pay in store and also pick it ourselves when we arrived. The cashier told us that we can't go back there because it's a private area. I have credit card number fishing site concerns with AutoWrecking.com, aka D&B Auto Wrecking. They are NOT Better Business Bureau accredited and have BBB complaints on file. Almost 2 weeks after placing the order, they canceled the order for unknown reasons and never sent the part - but they still have it advertised online and on car-part.com ... Very suspicious, Please use caution. I ordered the part via phone through employee David S, and I provided all credit card info VIA PHONE. 10 days later, I asked for a status (if it shipped). After no responses, I sent additional emails and my calls not returned. Supervisor later said that isn't how they do business, and would contact me. They never contacted me either. I called back and was told my order was canceled for unknown reasons, and David S should have notified me, but didn't, and it will take 3 days for a credit card refund. I called and ordered a fuel pump. This was on a Saturday. Monday I get a call and they had to run my payment again because the guy couldn't figure out how to do it. He then says your part is ready for pick up. I drive all the way across town. Just to find out that it wasn't even pulled yet. The customer service. Sucked. They don't say anything except. Not ready. He said it would be ready the next day at the end of the day. So I didn't go back that next day I gave them a extra day. Went in and the same guy says it's still not ready it not pushed to the back. This was on Wednesday. Call Tim the sales guy he says. What they aren't even backed up over there. He then says I'll send them a email so we can get it pulled. No reply from Tim. So I call today Friday. And Tim says I I got your message and just emailed them. Still two hours later. No call back so I called again and again they said sorry they still haven't pulled the part. Keep in mind when you go to the yard there are people pulling parts. So I don't understand why it takes a week to get me my part. They are not understanding of you're situation. And it's like it doesn't matter. So I asked for my money back. Now I have to wait 3 to 5 business days to get my money back whit a 2 week old child and no car for her dr appointments. Total joke. If I would have known they didn't take their customers needs seriously. I would have just ordered on line like I just did. I trust Casey Anthony running a daycare more then I trust this company. I trust licking the door handles of every 711 for 24 hours thinking I won't get the corona virus. Before I believe they will even give me a call back. So we called the phone number looking for a part. We were on the phone for about 20 minutes until we were told there was one in Henderson for $45. We received a confirmation number and the next day headed to their shop. But their computer was down so after waiting about 20 minutes for it to come back up we decided to go back the following day. That day we arrived and gave the confirmation number. The clerk spent 20 minutes or so trying to find the part to no avail. He said there was one in Washington though and could have it shipped to arrive in a week. When asked how much, we were told $117. Of course we declined. Now we know this part may have been in better condition. But that much??? So then we called snd talked to Gaspar. He said he was in the Vegas location but would leave a note for his manager to call the other manager in Henderson to see what they could do in discounting it due to the 2 hours of time we wasted over 3 days. He said he understood. We asked him for a direct line to the Henderson store but he said they don't have one. But he assured us he would have his manager contact that manager and get back to us. I was very disappointed in the way they handled the issue that they messed up with my order...i went to this BNR auto Wrecking at 1701 Athol St Henderson, NV 89011. i order 3 items/parts. the lady Rey said the items will be shift and ready to pick up in 5 days( tuesday) and said there will be $10 xtra charge for shipment later i realized after i paid that i was charged $30. i assumed $10 per part..i paid upfront for 3 items/part..i came back after 5 days nothing ready.went back next day i got only one (1) item.the lady said the other 2 items/part are not available to sell. so they issued me a refund check (Wells fargo bank) same time i went to wells fargo to incash the cash. the bank teller CANNOT incash the check because BNR refund account is not updated in the system or is not set up..same time went back to BNR the manager named MAT who seems he doesn't care about costumer issue.he said i have to come back to the back next day ready to incash the check .same time i told MAT that the amount is not correct coz they did not include the 2 parts shipment fee they charged me.he issued me another check adding $10 (suppose to be $20) next day i got it incash.. now 2 days after the other part i received found out by my mechanic is not working/broken ,i waited 45 minutes to get my refund check. MAT finally gave me the check went staright to wells fargo again .bank teller said BNR refund is not set up again and my name spelling on the check is not correct.so i went back to MAT to get another check..WARNING!!!!Stay Away from this company!!
