Very disappointed with this cake. It looked nice for pictures, but that's about it. The kids were so excited to eat the birthday cake, but after blowing out the candles, nobody could even enjoy it. We ended up throwing the whole cake away. The cake tasted old and stale like it had been sitting in the store for days. The cream was hard instead of soft and fresh, and the cake itself was dry and unpleasant. It honestly felt like a display cake rather than a fresh cake made for customers. It was upsetting seeing the kids excited for cake and then unable to eat it. For the price paid, this quality is unacceptable. I knew I would get more than one pastry when I used the tongs to get the first pastry. The tongs melted right into the almond croissant, which led me to get the Pain Au Chocolate, the Pizza, and Milky Bread. Now the Milky Bread was a first time for me. So, I got the idea to make it a bun by cutting two slices for a mini hamburger later that night, and it was good. The following morning, I made a breakfast sandwich and another sandwich for lunch. I can say this was the best bread I have ever had; it's a very light bread, too. So, now I want to try more of their breads, sandwiches, coffee, and teas. I saw the Iced Caffe Latte and the Iced Lavender; I would like to try them, too. Also, this place is very pleasing to the eye, with the color scheme being mostly light. I like the see-through-closed glass doors to the pastries. I think this area is heated, which is why the pastries are so fresh. There is also plenty of room to sit, bigger and smaller tables. We purchased a couple Croque Monsieurs and they were horrible. The bread was thick and there was a single small piece of ham that covered about a third of the bread. The tiny bit of cheese sauce tasted like american cheese spread. The ham looked like the cheapest chopped ham you can get. The macrons were bland and doughy. read more

I am somewhat surprised that this bakery does not have more reviews. Is it is a quaint style bakery in a store, but don't let the store front fool you. It is definitely on par with the fancy bakeries, that have baked goods that look like they are straight off of Instagram. I came here on my birthday, because I have been meaning to stop by and I was in the area, so I may have gone a bit crazy and bought one of every item that I saw and tasted on the drive home. My favorite thing was the half covered chocolate croissant, it was beautiful as it was delicious. The only thing that I did not like was the marmalade lemon aid because it was extremely tart and bitter chunks in it that that I did not care for. I would like to try some of the caffeinated drinks. I am looking forward to coming here again and trying more of the baked goods because I truly feel like I found a gem in this bakery. read more

Love this little bakery. For a place so small and tucked away in a corner, there are quite a number of really delicious options that you can't find anywhere else. Red bean donut: If you had red bean bread before, the donut has a similar flavor profile. However, I love how soft and chewy the donut's brioche-like bread is. It has just the right amount of red bean filling with the right amount of sweetness. To top it off, the granulated sugar on sprinkles on the donut adds a nice crunch. Sweet potato pie: The pie crust and sweet potato filling ratio is just right! The crust itself is super flaky and the filling was very delicious. I just wish the whole pie was a bigger size. Yuzu pie: The crust for this dessert was EXTRA flaky! The yuzu filling had a nice subtle tartness and bitterness, just like how the fruit is by itself. My main concern was the filling to crust ratio. I find that there was definitely not enough filling for the size of the pastry. Sesame donut: I liked the overall flavor of this one. The sesame really comes through which is something I loved. However, this one was very tough to eat. If your jaw isn't strong, I don't recommend this one. But once I got a bite, I liked the chewiness of the donut. Cheese toast: The toast was very buttery and soft. The cheese flavor had a nice subtle sweetness to it. I think they also added kewpie mayo to the toast which adds a pleasant richness. Very satisfying Green tea croissant: The croissant was very flaky and buttery. However, I think the cream could've had more matcha. Most of the green tea flavor came from the sprinkled matcha powder on top of the croissant. Curry croquette: Loved the crisp and soft chew of the bread. We ordered again the cloud cake #3 for a birthday party and it was literally just a lots of whipped cream with thin layers of cake. My girlfriend and I had never been to H-Mart before so we decided to check it out. Tous les Jours was an unexpected bonus just inside on the left as you walk in. We did our exploring of H-Mart and on the way out stopped in to see what they had to offer. It's not a large shop so the selection was somewhat limited but all of the things we tried were really good. One of the first things we noticed were the macaroons. They had several different flavors to choose from, we tried the Blueberry Lavender and the Raspberry, they tasted amazing. A few other things we tried were the Yuzo Pie, Sweet Pumkin Donut, Soboro Pastry and the Spinach Feta Danish. Everything was really good, we will be back for sure. read more

Not a great first impression, I know they are new but they can learn a lot from this review. There are 4 tables total in this bakery, one was occupied by patrons and one was empty but had some bread wrappers and bread bags on the table, this table would have been the most convenient table for myself, Mom, toddler, stroller and cart to sit at(yeah full circus mode). I park the stroller and my cart at the table, two female employees don't notice and don't give up the table for my family to sit. I would think they want paying customers to sit here but I guess not. They have decided to use this table as their work station. Nbd I'm fine with it, I can't be upset for what I assume customer service should be. We will take the corner table where another male employee is swatting fly after fly-gross!!! We sit down, the 2 female employees start bagging fresh bread. My mom notices and goes over to ask for a loaf. The employee is quiet, very hesitant, I'm getting very upset at this point. If she would have said "no", I would have packed up and took my business elsewhere. If you don't want customers to buy your fresh baked bread because you are trying to sell your 1-2 day old bread then bag your bread in the kitchen and out of sight from your paying guests. So I'm eating my $1.99 pumpkin doughnut that is terrible (see attached pic) next to my 2 year old son who is screaming "bugs bugs bugs!" I couldn't wait to get out of there and not come back. Call pest control or get some fly strips (amazon). The melon bread is sooooo good y'all. I didn't even eat it until the next day and it was still extremely moist and super fresh. This bread has a slight chewy texture but the flavor and texture worked very veryyy well together. I also highly recommend the macaroons here. They are hugeee in size compared to your typical macaroon. Although they were big, they were super light and fluffy. Perfect if you're craving something sweet but don't want to overindulge. I also got the cream cheese bread - this one was ok, I ate it three days after I purchased and it still was fresh but I guess in comparison to the other items I would probably not get this one again. I also got a pastry with bacon and egg , it was also tasty, def a nice option for a quick breakfast that you could pair with some coffee. I like the varieties and quality of the Asian pastry. The cakes are especially delicious and suit our taste. However, my only complain is that the chocolate cream cake always sold out so quick.
