I found a hair in my empanada this morning 3/15/25 @9am This is so disappointing, they need to do a better job at keep up with protocols to insure this doesn't occur. I had high hopes, based on reviews, that this place was comparable to Valley panaderias, but not so for my taste. The concha was dry, like 2 days old dry. A turnover I thought was filled with cherry or strawberry jam had a burned/odd taste and couldn't distinguish what flavor it should be. Not all bad, since some pieces were okay (but just okay). I've never felt so embarrassed! My family and I were so excited knowing we were going to the cute little bakery shop after church. Once we got to the check out stand they totally embarrassed me shouting out "decline" on all my cards. I was telling her "no, this got to be some mistake"..I even went to the extreme of pulling out my credit card and she still yelling "decline"..I was furious at that point and got my kids and began to leave. My husband still trying to give a different form of payment but come to find out our card had a chip and she was suppose to insert the card and not swipe it ..then it went through ..I felt like she did that so intentionally. Everyone else before me smooth sailed out of there but she made it seem like our payment was no good when that never was the case ..It's bad enough we weren't even acknowledged once we entered the business.
