I was very surprised by the selection and quality of the cupcakes smallcakes had to offer!! I've heard of the place before but don't ever recall coming here. Moving forward, I will definitely visit when I'm in need of a sweet treat. I had to wait just a few minutes to get assisted as there was only one worker who was on the phone taking an order. I checked into Yelp and received an offer for a free cupcake, but when I showed it to the cashier, he couldn't honor it because it "wasn't in the system." It was fine though! They seem to have the buy 5 get 1 free promo everyday. I thought the cupcakes would be on the pricier end, but they were just $3.95 each! I came a little past 7pm on a weekday, and I was worried they wouldn't have the flavors I was looking for, but they had it all! I tried the strawberry one and was amazed by how moist it was for being out in the open like that. So good! Also, I brought the rest of the cupcakes to school the following afternoon for a group of friends, and they were still in pristine condition. Everyone enjoyed the cupcakes woohoo!!! They serve ice cream as well but I didn't try it out. Plenty of indoor seating and parking. read more

So I needed to buy some cupcakes in a flash for a office and did a quick Google proximity search and this was the top result. And easy to see why. Walked in, greeted immediately, went over the specials (was around valentine's day) and asked howany I wanted. They were running a 12 for the price of 10 so that's exactly what I got. I only eat sweets once a month but the office I left them at texted me how delicious they were and asked which location I went to. The rating is based off the customer service. The young lady working around 2:45pm on September 21st had the least desirable customer service. She did not greet us upon entering nor thanked us for our purchase. I wanted my friend to just leave but he came here just for the red velvet ice cream. It will not happen again. read more

So disappointed. I love the smallcakes franchise. All locations I've been to have been great! However today I visited the katy location and was very confused/upset. I got the lemon drop and wedding cake flavors, my top two favs. When I opened the box I noticed that they looked a little smaller than usual. I haven't been in a while so I was t sure if they had decreased the size of their cupcakes. They were the size of a regular cupcake maybe even smaller! Cupcake liner wasn't filled! Went I to the store last night around 6:45pm and was going to order 6 cupcakes and then decided to up it to 12. the girl behind the counter turned around to get the box, came back over and then disappeared into the back room. My daughter and I waited and we could see her going back and forth like she was on the phone. We didn't hear the store phone ring and figured it was a personal call. anyways she never came back and we left after about 5 minutes. This is not the first time we have issues with this store. Happy we gave this place another chance! We went once and the cupcake was somewhat dry. I ordered a birthday cake from here and it was delicious. My only negative thing would be is that the cake decorations were not stuck on securely, they were sort of placed on and the cake moved from the circular board. We only drove 3 miles after picking it up. However, I was able to make it work. Cake was moist and frosting was good! I will be back. read more

Sweet service and sweet treats! We stopped by after dinner to grab a celebratory cupcake for me 13 year old's birthday, but they only had three cupcakes left from the day. Kelsey offered us a voucher if we wanted to come by the next day. Totally took her up on the offer and had some yummy ice cream in the interim. We strongly recommend the salted caramel ice cream! We got three flavors to try out between us as a sampler lol. Lemon drop, sprinkles and carrot cake. The carrot cake wasn't very tasty in our opinion, kind of terrible tasting. Sadly we trashed it. $3.75 in the trash. The lemon drop was a bit too over the top sweet. Could've used a bit more depth of flavor. The sprinkles one was the best one in flavors and balance of taste. What a cute coffee shop! We found ourselves here one morning as we had an appointment close by on…read moreS. Mason. Traffic wasn't too bad along Mason and the location was easy to find using GPS. The coffee shop is part of a shopping strip that includes other popular businesses like Aji Ramen and Hoodadak. The ambiance and decor are quite lovely! The cafe is much larger inside than I expected, and it was super clean with good, reliable WiFi. We just stopped by for a few minutes and were recommended the honey nut latte as one of their more popular drinks. We got it hot. It was perfect! Not too hot, definitely not cold, great flavor, strong coffee flavor, and not too sweet. There's also a wall of fancy teas that's definitely worth checking out. (See my photo.) Service was also good! Nice, kind employee and the drink came out quickly. Luckily there wasn't a line when I arrived and only 2 other people in the cafe chatting at the time. If you find yourself on S Mason in Katy and wanting coffee or tea, check out this place!

There are so many options of boba to choose from and you can even customize your own! I ordered their passionfruit green tea medley. There was a lot of coconut jelly which I enjoyed and the bona tasted fresh and bouncy. The service was very quick and the staff were very friendly.

The menu can be a little overwhelming but they do have some popular options for you. I got a recommendation from a friend and tried the red bean jelly milk and it was delicious. I've never had this at any other tea house before. But surprisingly the flavor combinations were great and I loved the rich flavor of the red beans as a drink. The service was quick and there were lots of workers around who were patient in taking our orders. Would definitely get this drink again in the future!

Wanting to give Wanpo the benefit of the doubt, I asked if it could be remade because it was a $8 drink. The worker, whose name I believe is Eric, SNIFFED my drink through the straw and said that it's Sugarcane and gave it back to me.....He then said he wouldn't remake it because it smells like it...Huh..? I walked out in shock because, what? Out of all the boba spots that I have been to, never has anyone smelled my drink. In fact, I used to work at a boba shop and never has it occurred to me to smell a drink and not remake it for a customer. Like, I don't know what methods you use to confirm ingredients but you couldn't even take the drink to the back to smell it? You did it in front of my face? I don't ever ask for drinks to be remade unless it tastes nothing like I ordered, I just go about and let it be but this genuinely appalled me. I go to Wanpo and I enjoy their Mango Sago drink but this experience has led me to never come back because... are you serious?

Well, today, I came in the morning to work from here & to give it a try and wow! The place was non-stop busy from 8-1 pm with a line to the door throughout the morning. The breakfast croissants were delicious and unlike anything you have likely tasted before. The pastries were simply phenomenal! Presentation & taste. Service was outstanding. The ladies came around often and the food & drinks came out pretty fast. The space is a bit small for how crowded it gets and it's a bit too loud to work from here if you have to take calls. The outdoor seating spaces are nice, especially on a pretty day, but the tables get filled pretty quickly. Overall, I highly recommend it
