As I pulled up to the store I noticed KOURTNEY cleaning the windows so all of those special cakes can be visible from outside and make you come inside. As I approached the door, she stop cleaning, greeted me with a smile and kindly open the door for me. I was very impressed and could not help but get excited. As I approached the counter, then the next angel ANABELLE was present at the counter and greeted me with a smile as well. She helped me make a selection of choice and told me HAPPY BIRTHDAY. What impressed me the most was KOURTNEY continue to work but noticed while ANNABELLE was helping me another guest walked in. SHe immediately stop what she was doing and assisted them as well. KOURTNEY AND ANNABELLE work well together and they surely represent this store well. It was very clean, fresh and smelled great in the inside. Customer service really goes a long way for me and I was impressed with how well they managed to make the customers feel so important. Whoever are the owners you all do an amazing job training your employees. Now in regards to the cake itself. I choose the ReD VELVET. I really love this one sooo much. It is my favorite, then lemon, then classic vanilla, cookies and cream and then confetti. It was so moist and fresh. The icing is a bit much at times and I really don't like the chocolate chips in the inside but HONEY, I ate them DOGGONE CHOCOLATE CHIPS LIKE THEY WERE CANDY. I'm from Chicago so I love these Bundt cakes . I remember them coming to Orland Park mall and selling out. When I moved here, I had no idea that they would have these. They are still my favorite. Very reasonably priced. The ambience is like a regular bakery, very nice, clean and tidy. The service is OK I won't say great.. There isn't big smile. Welcome when you come in like I'm used to back home. However, I am there for the cake so no big deal. My favorite is the strawberry and cream . It was my sister birthday, and we were on our way to the mall. I had a taste for a Chocolate Chocolate Chip Bundt Cake. Just so happened, we were literally 2 mins away. I'm sooo happy we stopped by. The young gentlemen who helped us was so friendly and polite. My sister wasn't in the system to get a free Bundt cake, but allowed her to sign up that day and walk away with a cake. They have people just standing around inside like they don't know what they are doing. I've never seen soooo many upset people waiting for a small little cake. Purchased 2 minis Saturday. Go to eat them on Sunday and I'm floored at the size. BOTH minis were half the size of the container. I emailed the store. Of course they apologized but their solution is for me to bring them back in w/receipt info. My gas costs more to return those cakes. As a person that is expected to offer exemplary customer service myself when I deal with the public, this wasn't the answer I expected. I would've expected a coupon for a future mini or just come back in and we'll make it right. Do better. The store was empty and the person waiting on me was very patient while I decided what I wanted. I decided on White Chocolate Raspberry because it sounded amazing. It was delicious! Of course the cake was perfect! Wasn't dry at all, very moist. As far as the flavor, a great combination of both white chocolate and raspberry, neither one too overpowering over the other. If you don't like really sweet desserts this place might not be for you because there cakes are pretty sweet, but damn they are so good. I was so upset when he got home because they were closed by then and tomorrow is Father's Day and they are closed on Sundays. My first visit here. Wanted to buy gift card for anniversary gift. Server, Sydney R, was extremely rude. She asked for my phone number. I politely told her it was private and unlisted and I don't give it out. She said I can't sell you a card without your number. I said that makes no sense. I gave her a made up number for being so rude. Then she said I need your name also or you can't buy the gift card. Again I questioned her about that. Rudely again she said No name, no card. This is one of my all time favorite places to go for dessert. Their bundtlets are perfect to take home for yourself, share with a friend, or give to someone for a special occasion. My mom traveled to Houston for her birthday, therefore I wanted to get her a cake that she'd enjoy. The pecan praline cake wasn't prepared, so the cashier offered to prepare one if I have 26 minutes to spare so that she could prepare. I went over to Trader Joe's and picked up flowers to add to my mom's cake. The cake was nicely packaged w/Saran wrap covering to keep it in place and fresh. There were also instructions in the box on how to keep the cake fresh. Thanks for great service and a great product. This place has horrible customer service. I purchased two 8 inch cakes and what I got was two 5 inch cakes. I couldn't believe how little these cakes were. I contacted the manager and her solution was for me to go back and buy another cake since the cakes I bought were too small. Nothing was done to solve the problem. Don't order from this place. False advertising. There is a huge difference between a 8 inches and 5 inches. They should call their 8 inch Bundt cakes, Large cupcakes for two. I give it zero stars. Cakes are good but prices are ridiculous. Mini bite sized buntinis were $28.00 for a dozen that they preselected. Then $11.00 to add tiny bday hats on them was over the top. Sent my sister to pick up the cake I ordered here since it was more convenient. The parking lot was full so she asked if someone could bring the cake out .. (mind you we are still in covid times, & curbside pick up is very well still a thing), the lady told her no and then when my sister entered the building there were several workers (estimate of 10) standing around.
