Late night stop in for some tacos. Set at the bar. Great service. We ordered the taco of the month - The Tailgator. It was good, maybe a lil too much bleu cheese for me but i liked it over all

It's just Torchy's honestly, if you're from Texas you already know and love your order. Something's that I tried that were different than usual were the "damn good tots" and the churros. The churros were too sweet but the tots were AMAZING:"they really are that damn good."

Crossroads

The food was definitely a 7.5 out of 10. I would definitely be going back to try some more tacos. The trailer park was good. Had a little spice to it. I like the sauce that they give you as well. The crossroads was also good. They give you enough meat so you can be full of two tacos and they're not corn tortilla there flour. The service was really good. The lady at the register was really nice. The ambience is whatever you make it. They have a bar in there. You can also bring your family. Kids can come as well.

I don't dine here too often, so do when I do come, it's because I have a particular craving. I usually have a pretty positive experience, but this time was a little bit rough. I stopped by on a weekend afternoon. The restaurant wasn't too busy at that time. Parking was easy, usually it's pretty crazy in this area but I found a spot as soon as I pulled in. I didn't really encounter any extra friendly staff members, but the person that took my order was nice. Can't say that I won't be back, maybe I just will try another location as I've typically had a good experience with this restaurant. Democrat (3/5) - I ordered this with no avocado, but they put avocado on there anyway. It also had a hair in it. Trailer park - trashy (3/5) - it was fine. Nothing spectacular, but it did the job. Scallywag (4/5) - This taco of the month was a pleasant surprise. I really enjoyed the flavor of the coconut shrimp. My only note would be is that they put a lot of pickled onions on it. Easy fix though I just took most of them off. Churros (1/5) - the biggest disappointment. I don't expect food to look just like the photos, but these were like the light skin version of the picture online. They were chewy in the middle, most of them split apart, and most of the cinnamon sugar was at the bottom of the bag. After a couple bites, I them away. I was excited about them, especially since I asked the cashier their thoughts, and they told me that they were really good.

A different vibe of the traditional Tex-Mex soft tacos are served at this taco shack. Our party of three ordered various proteins in our tacos. All were served in soft flour tortillas. We had barbacoa, smoked brisket, pulled pork, beef fajitas, and fried avocado. There were generous amount of proteins and cheese in each taco. With the exception of the beef fajata, all were nicely seasoned and cooked. The beef fajata was just a touch under seasoned, but cooked well. The flour tortilla itself tasted just ok. It didn't feel, look, or tasted like it was freshly made on site. We also ordered refried beans for our side. The beans were smooth and tasty. Prices were higher than the traditional taco shacks and tanqurias, but the quality and quantity justified the higher costs. Counter service was friendly and foods came out quick.

A friend and I stopped in for tacos and happy hr. I had the sangria with was $2 off, and it was super yummy. Aome sangria can be dry, but this was ia sweet and refreshing. Brushfire 9/10 jerk chicken and mango combo absolutely delicious Wrangler: 8/10 breakfast taco Mr. Orange 10/10 salmon taco yum I love their hillbilly queso, but I didn't get it this visit. This location I really enjoy. It has fresh parking, nice seating options, and a pond. If it wasn't raining, I would have sat on the patio.

It's a solid taco, but a little pricey. The queso is great and quite filling. The Baja shrimp is a classic staple, the crossroads is light and cooked well, and the trashy trailer park is a smidge greasy. A great taco spot, but the price is a bit too much for me now. Cheers!

Baja Shrimp & Trailer Park tacos.

If you are in the mood for good tacos, then you have to visit here. Had the Trailer Park, Baja Shrimp, Brushfire, and Chicken Fajita tacos and they didn't disappoint. All of them were delicious.

Torchys is a gem! I got the trailer park trash, shrimp taco and crossroads. The crosssroads with the brisket was my favorite for sure! Maybe the best part was having the play area for the kids to run around after dinner. They all 4 ran around long enough to be drenched in sweat!

Great food and a beautiful location by the lake at LaCenterra at Cinco Ranch. Favorite items for us at the trailer park chicken taco and the beef fajita. Fast service but always busy though we had no trouble getting tables.

The food was phenomenal -- specifically, the carne asada. There is usually a line to order and then it's first come first serve for seating, making it a bit challenging but very worth it! Once you sit down, they bring chicharrones to your table and they'll yell out your name when your order is ready and you raise your hand for them to bring the food to you. We also enjoyed some aguas frescas on a hot summer day and the churros were a perfect dessert! I will absolutely be coming back next time I'm in town, and hopefully the weather is a bit cooler so we can enjoy the patio.

While visiting family in Houston we were excited to come across a "real" Mexican (as opposed to Tex-Mex...iykyk) taco shop. As soon as you walk in and see the Tijuana and Baja Mexico signs and decor you know you're in the right place. There's an open kitchen, allowing you to watch your carne being grilled on the open-flame grill. That charged meat smell is heavenly! Their guac is chunky and simple (nothing too fancy), hot sauces are tasty (and they have a kick!), tortillas are thin but strong -- holding the goods in just right. It's also nice that they have complimentary tasty, crispy pork rinds -- as opposed to the standard chips & salsa. Portions are ample! They definitely don't skimp -- tons of meat and guac in their tacos and huge, meaty burritos! Prices are fair, especially for what you get! Their dining room is a tad small, but it's very clean and the a/c is good...there's also a nice patio outside. Service was swift and friendly. Food was good. A/C was poppin'. Parking was plentiful. All in all I have to admit that Tacos Frontera comes as close to good San Diego Mexican food as you can get...they would definitely be able to hold their own in San Diego!

Definitely a taste of home outside of San Diego and Tijuana. Finding authentic TJ flavor in Texas (not Tex-Mex) was a welcome surprise! Juicy carne full of flavor, thin but strong and tasty tortillas (they really held everything together well), perfect chunky guac (not too fancy or full of fillers--IYKYK), and a variety of delicious salsas and hot sauces! An added bonus was the complimentary chicharrones! I'll take those over tortilla chips any day! The dining room isn't very big, but it's clean and has good a/c....there's an outdoor patio as well. Unfortunately, my experience yesterday was so unacceptable that I will never return. When placing my order, the employee taking my order appeared intoxicated. His eyes were drooping and closing, he repeatedly paused, mumbled, and seemed to struggle entering my order. Although this was concerning, I chose to overlook it and waited patiently. After about 10 minutes, I simply returned to ask whether my order had been placed and if it was ready. I was not upset, in a hurry, or complaining. I only wanted confirmation that my order existed because the employee kept responding, "No orders, no orders," despite me showing him my receipt. Due to an apparent language barrier, I called my Hispanic husband and handed the employee my phone so he could ask the same simple question in Spanish. Instead of helping, the employee began yelling at my husband. Another employee joined in, and both started yelling while walking away with my phone. When the phone was returned, I still had no idea what had happened or whether my order was being prepared. The situation escalated for no reason. The employees began yelling at me, aggressively slammed the service windows shut, ignored me, and treated me as if I had done something wrong. I remained calm throughout the entire interaction and repeatedly stated that there was no problem--I simply wanted to know if my order had been placed. Eventually, the food was thrown together carelessly, shoved into a bag, and handed to me with obvious hostility. The food quality was terrible, and the customer service was even worse. What disappointed me most was that this entire situation was completely unnecessary. I was respectful, patient, and simply asking a basic question. The combination of an employee who appeared intoxicated, the aggressive and unprofessional behavior from both employees, and the poor quality of the food made this one of the worst customer service experiences I have had. I cannot recommend this location and will not be returning.

I've gotten the food here a few times over the last few years but the service my wife received today was ridiculous and unprofessional. Antonio was present and can vouch for what happened. My wife approached, looked at the menu, and called for my order. At that time the man in the truck pulled the tip jar in behind the window and then moved away from the window when my wife tried to order. Another person (antonio) had to take my wife's order. Bad enough. After she ordered and went to wait in the car a hispanic young man arrived, the same guy put the tip jar back out and took his order with no issue. We won't be back. We go out of our way to support food trucks and the birria ramen is good enough. The guys in the truck are even fighting, slamming items, and throwing things at each other in front of customers. This is at 3:20 PM on June 16th. One of the guys is/was bleeding and this is just a bad day all around. The food is good, the meat is always savory and juicy. Really depends on who you get cooking. Either way I don't appreciate how my wife was treated and I want to believe this was just a bad day. Things to consider. Good atmosphere and solid food truck experience.
