First of all, I am not a golfer and my experience is limited to an annual summer game of miniature golf. So I was apprehensive about my ability to perform and enjoy an outing here. To my surprise, it was a really fun time with no pressure and little athletic ability required. The staff was friendly and helpful, from the moment I entered the lobby until my exit. The place is beautiful, with multi levels of bar and gathering places. The outdoor bays were well heated in this brisk November day - so much that we actually asked they turn down the overhead heaters. After brief instructions on how to log into the system individually, we ordered drinks and food. We were left to play on our own, with plenty of staff nearby if we had questions or needed assistance. It was pretty much a driving range deal, our progress tracked by large video screens. We took turns hitting balls out onto the "green." All levels of skill were able to enjoy this, from avid golfer to complete novice. We set our own pace while enjoying lunch and conversation. The food was delicious and served fairly quickly. I had the nachos with chicken. On the menu, it's described as an app "for the table." But it was just the right size for a hearty lunch for one. There was lots of chicken, cheese, jalapeños and beans. Little mounds of salsa and guacamole decorated the plate, along with a smear of sour cream. A more generous offering of sour cream would have been ideal. But everything was hot, fresh and delicious. Friends ordered a burger with tots and the shrimp tacos. I sampled a tot and it was everything a tot should be - crispy on the outside, nicely firmed shredded potato on the inside. There were no leftovers and no complaints. The drink menu was extensive, but we were a group of work colleagues, most of whom were on the clock, so soft drinks prevailed. The spacious lounges were very inviting. I came here for a work outing and had a fun time with my coworkers. The building looks very scary from the outside, but it felt a lot better once we got in. The merch is kind of ugly. The food was lowkey mid, but their drinks were very, very strong, which made for an interesting night. I liked now accommodating the staff were with our large group, and that I was allowed to run a dominos game on our table for the whole night. read more

Topgolf is TOP. NOTCH. The outside is very cool and they have a little hopscotch adventure where you spin and jump, definitely reccomend. When you walk in it looks like a crazy cool golf store, and there's so many floors! (NOT wheelchair accessible I think) Once we got onto our floor, the staff member immediately reccomendations for our golf clubs. You get to choose the type of golf game you want to play. The pizza was amazing! They also have fries and veggie cups! Best golf place ever! read more

First off you will get charged a fee on top of what you already paid for a mandatory membership for 1 yr. That per person no matter what age. Then they steal your information the require phone numbers for each person. This place literal won't let you golf untill they steal all your data. Have you ever gone there before? It's ~$65/hr. per bay, then you pay ~$5 a person for "accounts". Don't you dare make a mistake because Ricardo will scold you and stand off against you! What a train wreck Ricardo was! That's right. This guy had the nerve to tell me, in front of my 12-person extended family members and kids, that I was being rude to him because I didn't understand the account system. He made everyone feel uncomfortable, and he scared my wife and kids. I didn't want to tip this guy, but I did anyway because I am a decent person. He was not. What also strikes me as odd is that the venue itself is premium quality for a premium price, but then you have to deal with staff who look like they just stepped off the prison bus and have to interface with customers. They don't know how to act. The manager was sweet, and she apologized for his behavior. Tell you what, though, it's not worth it! when we arrived at our reserved bay we were not greeted , we weren't even sure who our server was for at least 15 minutes into our arrival, finally when she did come over our server did not even tell us her name give us any recommendations and walked away before we could put in everyone drink orders , me and my friend went to the bar and the bartender is a friend of ours Rich is amazing. However we returned to the table and our friends waiting said our server had yet to return to the table to put in our food order or checked on us, then we put our orders in and it took over an hour for our orders to come out. My friends order a Caesar salad no chicken and it came out with chicken and my other friend ordered wings and wanted ranch and got blue cheese however we were not offered sauce options . Then I ordered ranch and it took 20 minutes for that to. One out. Our server did explain at the end that the kitchen was making a lot of mistakes. But while we were waiting for our our friend to finish her food after her remake came out we were asked to leave because there was another reservation. I was excited to try an east coast establishment and was disappointed. The service of the front is not great and not well organized. The service up at the bay was great, but that was it. Went 12/24/23. First time going and had a great time. I had booked a bay online and when I went in, super fast check in and bay was ready before reserved time. Waitress was excellent. There was only me and my husband. We played all different games, had a couple of drinks and tried the steak nachos (small portion, but very good). I was a bit hesitant about going as I don't golf. It was our first time at Top Golf. It was a great experience to say the least. We had a blast with the kids!! The establishment is beautiful and our waitress was great. The only downside while entering the building is the swamp smell which is not great at all!! Most of all I didn't realize that the booking online in advance for the bay area wouldn't be applied to our bill at the end of our two (2) hours of play and/or food.. This wasn't the case at all we paid $38.75 to hold the bay area for 6 people which seems to be a booking fee and then had to pay separate for food/drinks/play memberships which I truly find ridiculous!! read more

I will keep it short, our experience was not great. walked in place smelt of sewage ( staff claimed building was not built right and smells of sewage often) wasted 20 mins of our allotted time because they dont let you know what floor your on ahead of time so they tell you to wait on main floor. get up to proper floor now the 15 min talk on rules ect. never show you how to use the games and that took 5-10 mins to figure it all out. food was mediocre at best and overpriced for what you get. our waitress was excellent! time went by way to fast for us (5) esp after wasting 20-25 mins getting started. 2 hrs is good for 1-3 players 4 or more will definitely want more time. we all left rather disappointed not sure any of us will return. read more

I am a 76 year old man with a heavy set of clubs, for some reason they gave me a bay on the 3rd floor, at a time when it was not very busy and there were plenty of bays on the 1st floor. Staff was overly patronizing wanting me to buy drinks and such @ 10:00 in the morning. Are these folks in any way connected to golf?? Seems to be a trend where non golfers are working around golf venues. The music was too loud, do you ever hear loud noises on a golf course?? Music was distracting. Problems with getting golf balls, when they finally showed me they seemed condescending and as if I was stupid. The tees were too low, I usually use a much higher tee the tee was about 1" off of the mat. The top tracer golf feature was really nice, but not sure I will ever go to this party venue where you can hit golf balls again. read more

Went online to book two bays, applied a gift card and paid the remaining balance to find out days later the entire deposit was taken from my bank account. I no longer have the GC since it clearly stated on the website the amount was deducted from the total deposit. Called to find out there is nothing they can do! It seems that this review may not be for the local Topgolf, but for the business overall. I'm reviewing the Cranston, RI location. This facility is brand new, with (mostly) excited staff people to help you out. Our lane attendant was amazing, ready to help us with whatever we needed. We had one minor hiccup with a round of drinks, which my husband brought back to the bar. The SUPER snarky bartender told him "I'll remake them, but I'm just going to make them the same way." Tsk Tsk guy. I'm not sure where you came from, but you should definitely go back there... this is unacceptable. We let our lane attendant know, who sent the manager over immediately. He had the drink remade by a different bartender, took them off the tab, and assured us that he would ensure this type of service error is not repeated. This round was PERFECT. The second floor bartender killed it. I expected it to be chillier at the lane than it was, but the heaters keep it nice and toasty. The games were so fun, that we added an hour and a half to our time! Another nice bonus was the 10% off for healthcare workers! I absolutely love the concept of Top Golf. The ones in Florida are amazing. HOWEVER, this location could use some work. Its very clear its everyone's first time managing/ waiting tables there. Ive been twice since its opened and theyre ALWAYS running out of food! Not that the food is great, its overpriced generic bar food. Their drink menu is longer than their food menu too. But I'll think twice about visiting because something i did not pay attention to the first time was that there is an online booking fee to reserve a bay in advance. I was under the impression that the booking fee was a deposit to hold your spot, and then the deposit would be applied to your bill. NO!, thats not the case at all! The $85 booking fee (for 2 bays, $35 for 1 bay) was just that, a booking fee. And then we had a full bill for play and food on top of that, which is ridiculous. I also attempted to modify my reservation, which you cant do. They make you cancel the entire booking and rebook again, but of course you cant get a bay at the same time, it'll be a whole new booking under another time frame. Id also love more than 2 hours here. Other Top Golf locations dont have a time limit, but i understand the limit since theyre brand new and have long wait times. But I'll definitely wait a while for this place to work out all their kinks before i try to return again. read more

Came in this morning to play a round with my girlfriend and her father and had so much fun!!! We had never been before and boy was I blown away by how cool it was. Our server was Troy and he was just the absolute best! He walked us through the entire process and made sure we understood how everything worked and checked on us regularly to make sure we were having a great time. I've heard this location has only been open for a few weeks, but let's just say rough start. Servers had the vibe they have no previous experience in the in industry. Management was just as lost. The venue and location was beautiful. Drinks were good but inconsistent. Our server let us know they could only ring in 6 beverages at a time which is unheard of especially for venue this size. We felt rushed out when our time was up. Our food was thrown away when we asked for boxes. You would think there would be a grace period between reservations. Definitely quantity over quality. top golf is a scam! Already extremely expensive to go for an hour-2 hours but they charge 5 dollars to sign up. I joined the waitlist 3 hours before coming, I called as well because it didn't say on the app the time there would be an opening so when I called I was redirected twice and placed on hold 3 different times, they finally told me I could come in an hour and 20 minutes. So I showed up and was first on the waitlist just to have to wait another hour. It said no where how long it would take on the app and I drove 45 minutes to come just to have to wait another hour! huge inconvenience, bad customer service, overpriced food, will not be coming back! We are currently still at the venue. We visited for their half off special for something to do with the kids on the day off. The previous reviews were a little worrisome. However, we did not experience one negative thing. Parking was easy. Mostly all the pre-check in aspects were handled via the app. We were greeted right when we checked in and easily found our bay. The ground level was perfect for the kids. Our server, Michelle, promptly came over and explained everything for us and brought clubs over for the kids. There was zero pressure to order anything, which in turn made us more relaxed and we ended up ordering drinks, lunch, and dessert. Previously we heard stories of customers being overly pressured to order drinks and food, so we were going in already planning on eating somewhere else. The ease of everything changed our minds. We ordered from the kid's menu and sandwiches for the adults. Everything was spot on and was great quality for the price. Definitely looking forward to our next visit! read more

I had a wonderful experience during my scheduled golf lesson. I have been struggling with a terrible slice when hitting with my driver. Ryan, Top Golf's pro worked with me to apply simple technique adjustments which resulted in great results. Ryan is very friendly and patient. Without getting too technical or "scientific" he had me hitting the ball much straighter. I am looking forward to hitting many more fareways. read more
