First time here on this beautiful day. Arrived at 10:30am and was immediately assigned a bay and provided with kid's clubs. Very clean facility. Gertrude was awesome and made us feel extremely welcome. After explaining how things worked, she gave my daughters some pointers. They love this place. Staff is attentive, and Gertrude constantly checked on us to see how we were doing. Ordered the Sunrise Burger, Everything bagel brunch pizza, and chicken tenders. Food arrived quickly. We were only planning on staying for 2 hours, but ended up staying for 4. The kids still didn't want to leave! We will definitely be back again soon! read more

Visited Top Golf Loudon as part of a conference group. I was given a ticket, which as a non-golfer, was terrific. The food, beer and service were all top- notch. The facility is well lit and very comfortable. My bay-mates were exceedingly gracious and coached me up. The whole experience has me thinking that not only will I return to Top Golf on my own dime, but may also take golf lessons. Kudos to Top Golf Loudon. read more

THE BIG: Fore! This top of the line driving range is located in Ashburn off of Route 7 and Loudoun County Parkway. 3 stories high with beautiful amenities that include a full bar with pool tables and arcade games. THE BLACK AND WHITE: I came here for a work happy hour and all I can say was daaayyyuuumm. This place is super bougie and nice. The reason why I call it bougie is because its so futuristic and expensive looking. Everything is automated and each ball is tracked. To retrieve a ball, you wave your club over a sensor on the ground... and VOILA, a ball comes out! You also do not need to bring your own clubs since every table has their own set of clubs. Unless you can't golf without bringing your own clubs, I say the clubs they provide are pretty nice. I hear this place can get pretty backed up on the weekends. Fortunately I came here on a Wednesday and the place was full but not crowded. I would say if you want to play on the weekends to call ahead of time to make a reservation. Cool Note: The prices get more expensive as the day progresses with nighttime golfing the most expensive (~$45/hr). However at night, the holes light up and produces this cool neon atmosphere. It reminded me of neon bowling, which is awesome! THE FINAL BAMBOO: At this location, you pay per hour while at the Alexandria location, you pay per ball. So this may average more expensive. I participate in a golf league here over the winter. Kind of keeps the swing in order before golf season starts. I really like Top Golf! It is a great place to go and just hit golf balls and have fun. If you have a group of friends, you can rent a bay and all enjoy hitting golf balls. They provide full service in the bay, so you and your friends can enjoy food and beverages. You don't have to know how to play golf to have fun here. They have several games you can play by hitting various targets. Mostly it is fun to wack balls. For a group of friends I think this is a great place to spend an afternoon and evening. You can split the cost of the bay, so it is relatively inexpensive. The food and drinks are comparable to any other local bar/restaurant in the area. Definitely will go back even after I finish the golf league. read more

Just had an awful experience. We signed up for a bay and got put on a weight list for an hour and half. We responded to every text message in the appropriate time frame, and when we arrived within the 15 minutes we were told we didn't respond and therefore had to wait another 15 minutes. Once we got another text in 20 minutes we went to check in and they said another 15 to 20 minutes due to our "lack of response". Just really disappointed of how rude they were to us, especially when we had done everything correctly and been waiting patiently and extra 35 minutes with kids. Do better we left with pretty upset children :-(. read more

What a difference 6 months make. Came back to hit some golf balls and eat some good food. Haven't been here in almost 6 months. The wait (1 hour) was surprising but hear from friends that this was the norm. However, after 2 hours, I was still waiting to get a bay and table. The registration was not pleasant. The host was short and abrupt and appeared to be offended that I asked questions. I was a returning customer and knew what was in the place so of course I would have questions on things to do as I waited for "1 hour" to be seated. They seemed more offended when I came back to ask how much longer I would have to wait...it was almost 2 hours. They must have lost of lot of the good, kind folks on their staff. The staff was not friendly today. Many I asked questions to answered with attitude and they didn't want to provide customer service, help, or answer questions. They were more into talking to each other and holding the walls up. Not sure happened to this place. But it appears busy and flowing with customers. So business must be good. It's been nearly 4 years since my last visit here and my most recent experience was very pleasant. I went on a Saturday at 2pm, I was looking for a family friendly environment since my nephews joined me for my birthday shenanigans. Check in process was easy and quick at the front desk and we were quickly assigned a bay. Menu was great a variety of options to choose from and the bar drinks were delicious too! I am very bad at Top Golf but it's fun anyways. The food is good and I like how the lanes are set up. I've only visited once and the service at my lane was pretty poor though. The guy came by once and then never came back again. We'd called him several times so we could pay and he was totally MIA. Disappointed in having to re-review this place but I guess good things don't last for a long time. This review is purely for service. I have been here multiple times in the past few years, both for work or personal. My family and I decided to stop in for some Sunday afternoon golf. We made a crucial mistake of not reserving a bay first but thought perhaps we would get lucky and not have a crazy excessive wait. I even tried to call this location before we arrived (like 30 minutes before) to see wait times then but through their answering service, this was not possible. We got there and saw it was quite busy so I went to stand in line to see the damage. The young girl working the counter said it would be a 1.5 hour wait. I asked "Can we still make a reservation for later today instead?" and she told me directly "No, you can only make reservations a day in advance?" Huh??? This is a blatant lie. Basically, by what this employee believes, you can only visit Top Golf and not wait hours on end, if you pre-plan your whole life and make a reservation 24 hours in advance. After leaving, we realized you could make a reservation for same day so confused on which employee hand book she learned from. I understand this place is popular, especially on a nice day but at least get your employees trained to give us customers the correct information. And have a direct line to the reservations desk so someone driving 30 minutes away can see if it's even worth to wait around for an on call reservation. read more

Top Golf has become a regular go-to during COVID. Came here as a "trial" run for something to do for the first time in a while-- ended up feeling very secure and they were taking as many precautions possible/necessary. There's a plastic-like divider in-between all of the seating areas. Limited spaces in the common seating for food/drinks. If you haven't gotten out in a bit and want to do something family oriented, I highly recommend trying Top Golf out. I'd say go during the day time before 5pm, mainly because it's more family-based and less of a crowd or wait time. Also cheaper per hour. But food was good, donuts and alcohol always hit. read more

We came here years ago for my husband's birthday (probably when it was practically brand new) and I have to say this location has definitely aged since. We went to celebrate my birthday but this location honestly lacks in comparison to the Germantown, MD location. COVID-19 Concerns: - The employees were not "socially distanced" and were giving each other hugs. - I had to request that our bay be wiped down again. The table and sign in computer screen did not look clean which makes me question if they even cleaned the golf clubs. There were crumbs on the ground scattered around the bay and it's just not something you want on any day and especially not when you are celebrating a special day. Location or Wear Concerns: - The music in the dining area was very loud, even for my liking. We have gone to places like Yard House in the past who are known for higher volume music but this level of volume definitely made it hard to hold any conversations. - The bays had dips on the grass pads which made it more difficult to keep the golf balls in place. - The computer was glitching and I had many swings that were not counted towards my score whatsoever, very frustrating. I was really looking forward to being at this location since they offered the new Angry Birds game which the Germantown location does not yet offer. I wish I could say better things about this location but for now at least, we will be sticking with the Germantown location as it is cleaner, nicer, kept up (of course, newer). read more

The WORST service I have ever had in my life. But first I want to acknowledge that the GOLF part of the place is really awesome. It is three floors and the driving range is huge. I really do think the driving range is a really good deal if you have like six people. It came out to be only 14 bucks each for like an hour and a half. It is a great place for friends to hang out and have a good time. However besides the golfing part, the rest of my experience was terrible. We got their at 7:30 and our reservation was at 8:30. So we decided to order some food and chill before hand. Believe it or not, our food ended up coming at 10:00. And yes that included the appetizers we ordered. It was taking so long that we told them to cancel our order. However they finally brought us our food. The manager came and apologized and he told us our food is on them. They still managed to mess up our order when the food came. I told them no bacon multiple times and my burger still had bacon on it. At one point they gave us the queso and thats it. No chips or anything. So we just had queso on our table for like an hour just sitting there. The only reason I am not giving this place a one star is because the manager was really nice and we got free food. These guys went well out of their way to make things right with me and my party of 12. Management and staff were kind and accommodating. My buddy opted to have his going away celebration there before starting his MBA Program with the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University. When my good friend made the staff at Top Golfvaware, they modified the dessert to make this feel like a special night. I personally experienced a couple minor delays and mistakes, but all in all they made it right again and I was happy and grateful to spend my Saturday night at Top Golf with my friends. No harm, no foul, memorable evening, a 5-Star experience. I definitely plan on coming back here again for client meetings and quality time with family and loved ones. I actually hate doing anything pertaining to golf, even put-putting. However, I've passed by this Topgolf location and the one in Alexandria many times and never had a chance to go :( until recently! Everything was a bit confusing to me at first, but luckily my friend was able to get me situated with my registration and everything. From there we were told our bay wasn't ready yet so we moved to the bar to order some drinks while we waited! I love how open everything is, even in the inside. You can see everyone doing their thing while you're at the bar just hanging out. Finally, we were ready to go to our bay and I must say it was quite spacious. The space made it very comfortable to relax and enjoy the games we were playing. I also love, how everything is interactive and you can pay for how long you want to play right then and there on the touch screen that's in your bay. - FOOD & DRINKS - My friend and I ordered the the mini chicken and waffle sliders and some wings as well as a pitcher of the Vienna lager. Everything was pretty good for the most part. Even though I sucked and didn't do too well, I still had lots of fun and will definitely be back. It is a bit pricey, imo, but I think it's worth it. My friend and I came to Top Golf yesterday night to celebrate my birthday. We were very excited. We just came by for a small dinner, a drink, and a short game of golf. It was a Sunday evening, I wouldn't say it was super busy, we didn't have a reservation and we received a bay right away on the second floor. When we got to our bay we first wanted to take a look through the menu. They use a QR code to access the menu online, as most places do. It was easy enough to use. We looked through our menu and waited for our waiter to come by. Our waiter finally came by after awhile, to finally let us know that she cannot accommodate at us at all until we start our timer in our bay (LOL!). I have been to Topgolf many times, to this location even, and always our server has been in our bay accommodating us and helping us get set up before we start our game. We did not appreciate this. Definitely made it seem like she was trying to get us out of there as fast as possible even though we just got there not even 10 minutes prior! We put on our time for our game only for 30 minutes. We ordered some food and some drinks. Food was fine, drinks were fine too. But like clockwork, with five minutes left of our time, she let us know that our time was ending soon. We let her know we didn't want to extend our game. She said ok but you will have to leave soon. We gave her a fairly generous tip (25%) but as soon as she got her tip she happily kicked us out of our bay even though we were still eating. She said we could pick up our food to the bar and eat it there. Our waitress was extremely unpleasant and made our experience here unsatisfactory. Topgolf is one of my favorite places, we have never been kicked out of our bay and especially not less than 5 minutes after our timer running out even on busy days. Ugh! read more

I recently returned here after a previously negative experience. We have been back several times since the atmosphere has changed and the service is much better! Tip: MAKE A RESERVATION! You can reserve bays online and this is so helpful during the weekends! Great for parties and groups, as well as dates! The food is a little pricey, but you are getting it served to you without rush to leave or any annoying lingering waiters. The waiters are laid back and ready to help when you want it, not the other way around! Talk to your waiter like a person and you'll be treated just fine. The price for the bay is per hour so it is actually a good deal when you're splitting it among a group! Overall, great time and great atmosphere! I've been to this location twice. The first time I went was a great experience! It took about an hour to wait for our bay but we didn't mind since there were so many other activities to pass the time. We spent some time by the bar but we ended up on the lower level playing some of their video games. I like that you can pay at your bay and the couches are super comfy. Unfortunately, my second time here wasn't as great. My boyfriend and I took our two friends here since we were raving about how nice this location was compared to the Alexandria one that they're used to. We were able to get a bay right away since we went a little after they had opened. We planned to spend two hours there but we really only got to play for about an hour. The customer service this time was rude and dismissive. Our bay wasn't working at first and nobody was to be found because they had a team meeting. They also somehow charged us twice and when we brought this to the attention of a floor manager, he said he would refund us the second charge. He wouldn't give us a receipt or some type of written statement for us to refer to - he just expected us to trust his word and to check our account statement on Monday. It wasn't until all four of us had to call on multiple occasions did we finally get a refund almost a month later. read more

What's not to like about Top Golf?!?! It's great. The food is solid, the drinks are plentiful, and the games are fun. I would recommend to get there as early as possible so you can take advantage of cheaper price and so you can reserve a bay. My only complaint is it's funny sometimes when they try to rush you out of a Bay when it's half empty. I have heard multiple times, you need to leave someone reserved this Bay. I always want to respond with, "can't they have any of those bays?" But alas, me and my friends will leave. read more

The bartender (men age 35-40, with dark hair) made me this cocktail with used slice of lemon !! This was disgusting I noticed that only in the end when I finished the cocktail !! Even you could see the bite , you could see the teeth mark omg !!! How could you do that? Fun place to be for golfers of all skill level. Recommend getting the top floor or at least mid floor for beginners so the ball flys decently further. Wait time was never ridiculously long even though it was busy. My group just gets a table at their first floor restaurant and grab a bite/drinks while we wait. You can also order food while golfing. I'm not sure why I haven't ever written a review for this place because it's one of my favorite places to go for a great evening! The atmosphere is amazing and the activity of golfing meets bowling is also quite amazing! The bays are heated so it's also nice for winter activity and the food is also quite good. If you come on the weekends however you will need to make sure to allow time for waiting because they get quite busy but there is plenty of other things to do such as Foos ball and sometimes they even have life-size connect four and life-size Jenga. Top Golf serves its purpose. The pros are obvious: you can golf and relax in comfy chairs with friends and drink beer or other beverages. They have a limited menu of other options as well... Appetizers, sandwiches, wings, flatbread etc. but not a ton of super healthy options and not ideal for vegetarians. The service in the bar area wasn't the greatest. We had to wait in there because it was an hour and a half to wait for a golf bay to become available (no reservations same day). While waiting we ordered drinks and appetizers and they never came. We finally had to go back to the person and remind him. At that point the drinks came but not the food. The drinks were just okay. I had a mojito and I literally had to add my own sugar from the packets on the table. So then I tried the coconut mojito and it was almost exactly the same except with white foam. The Mai Tai colada drink was good though. As far as the golfing goes, it depends on your bay assignment. If you are on the bottom and you don't get some good height on your swing then the ball will just hit other balls scattered around and never go in a hole. Also if you are off to the side then even hitting the ball straight will send it into the sand pit, so aiming in general is a lot harder. For pros none of these things should be an issue but for the novice golfer this impacts the ability to score points. read more

Wanted to book a bay for their NYE event. We have family coming into town and this WOULD have been perfect. Unfortunately, it took customer service THREE days to answer a simple question. I was unable to call the location because I was at work, but clearly should have followed up. I had no idea that they would not bother getting back to me on 12/23. After they FINALLY got back to me they tell me NYE reservations were gone. Well, no kidding! I understand not answering on Christmas, maybe even Christmas Eve, but pretty sure there isn't some secret national holiday on the 23rd that shuts down customer service. Very, very disappointed. This topgolf location is amazing. I've been here a few times before even writing this review but I thought I might finally write something. First off the staff, so awesome and helpful. It wasn't my first time, but my group's first time. They asked questions about the topgolf cards and how to pay for it and every question was answered with a smile. The bartenders are awesome and the wait staff was attentive. When I come to places like this that focuses on golf/drive range itself, I don't expect too much from the food or drinks. Let me tell you, I love the food options they have and the full bars they have. It's a great place to go and have fun with a good group of friends. Even if there's a long wait (which can happen on the weekends) there's still the upstairs outside patio with games like life size connect 4 or Jenga!
