If I could give this place zero stars I would, I normally do not give out reviews, but this experience was so horrible. We were a big party and already had reservations for bays when we arrived. We were told it was going to be a two-hour freaking wait. Next, our bayhost, Shelia, was very rude to our party. I did not appreciate her snarky tone towards my children. Onto the service, or lack thereof. It took an eternity for anyone to acknowledge our presence, and when they finally did, it was with a half-hearted grunt. Our server, Shelia, seemed more interested in looking off to space than taking our orders. Once we finally managed to place our orders, the wait for the food felt like an eternity. When it did arrive, it was cold! Not to mention, my order was completely wrong as if she didn't bother to listen to a word I said. When asked for a refill she rolled her eyes and mumbled something under her breath. Our food was cold as well and it was disgusting. The atmosphere of the place was not at all very family-like. To start, I am not a golfer. My husband is. Our daughter rook us doe his b-day/ Father's day the 19th.The establishment is set up really nicely it's clean they have enough staff to take care of everything. It was efficient as far as coming in & signing up and play! we had a great time spent an hour and a half had water is ice tea and a really good non-alcohol bloody Mary. I have to say I had a really great time it was so much fun and the different games that you can play against each other was very unique. I did hit the ball pretty well I came in third out of three but that was to be expected. Topgolf is great! It's like bowling but golf. It really shows how hard golf can be, which I didn't have an appreciation for. Now I do. It's more to go for fun with friends. You're able to get a bay that fits up to 6 players. You can seat more than 6 people at a bay, but the program can only keep score for 6 for the allotted time (usually 90 min or 2 hours). If you have a party greater than 6, you can get two bays next to each other. The service is pretty good at topgolf, they take your order, bring you drinks, and serve you food. They can also bring you left handed clubs if needed. Overall, good experience just a bit pricey. read more

What a seriously cool place. I was extra nervous that we arrived at the wrong place because I was expecting like more of a virtual experience with screens and stuff. But, it was even better than I could have imagined. I know is being built in Germantown, MD and I'm super excited about it. Its a perfect place. Ill be able to get to that one more frequently. When you walk in they have guest services greet you and give you a little bit of guidance. Then you check in and reserve your own bay. Our wait for two people was about 30 minutes. That wasn't too bad - but I do know you can call ahead and reserve. They have a lot of options on the inside - pretty full sized sports bar. You can sit and eat in a booth or sit around a bar. I will go back and try that Golf Bag drink. However, I do recommend the Spring Sangria. Its easy to feel bubbly with you by me. They text you ahead of time to close out your tab or bill and then they meet you at your bay with another greeter. That person is your own personal assistant through all things i.e., setting up game, getting your drinks and food. There are multiple types of games and time limits you can choose from. The best things ever were the view ;) and the personal heater that ended up heating the couch so you were toasty when it wasn't your turn. Probably my favorite place I've been to thus far this year- totally ignorant to this place or what it provides. Set in a up and coming developing area, it may seem a little overwhelming and intimidating at first, but they do a good job of having greeters meet you upon entry which is huge for first timers (we were). *** NOTE: CLUBS ARE PROVIDED OR BRING YOUR OWN!**** How it works is you check in and get a private driving range area. If they are busy they place you on a waiting list which for us was 35minutes. What's good is there is a large bar and foodstaurant inside the same building that you can use to kill time before you get contacted to take your place via text message. Outdoor place but- heaters that warm the area even on colder days. Couch seating (L shaped) at the driving range set up. Would be great for a group, double dates, etc. Food and beverages are delivered to you right there, and you are given your own waitress/expert who helps if you have any questions or if you need to add tine(we needed both). There are games that you can choose from and get interactive where there are a variety of targets you can hit into and play against one another. Easily can spend a couple hours here- which we did. Base price is $35/hour, and $5 a person to sign up. I really really liked this place. Food wise we ordered chicken and waffle sliders which comes with gravy and syrup- VERY GOOD! And pretzel bites that come with cheese dip or horseradish mustard dipping sauces. Both were really really good! Having heard of TopGolf and also had some experience on the driving range I pretty much knew what to expect. What I didn't expect was how much fun this would be! My gf along with family and friends were in town. It's hard to find something fun for 7 people in the middle of winter and golfing would be the last thought. None of us are golf enthusiasts but lounge like feeling and sense of competition made this a great time. There's 3 levels with multiple bays where you tee off from. Each bay has a large sectional seating with an overhead heater. Clubs are provided or you can bring your own. Areas of the range are lit up with colored lights and the music has a club vibe. You do have to purchase a membership card for around $5. But not everyone has to if you're just planning on competing in teams. You can also order food and drinks right at the bay. Topgolf is a fun spot for friends and family, but it sure is expensive. On any given evening, pricing is $47-50/hour for a bay. For a group of 5, this comes out to $10/hour, which isn't bad, but within an hour, a group of five was unable to play two full rounds of gameplay. Pricing during the daytime isn't too bad, but it's such a big difference between the daytime and evening hours. I noticed that they have an unlimited gameplay on Wednesdays for $15 per person, but this is only truly worth it if you intend to stay for more than two hours, with fewer than 5 people per bay. I like that they have foosball (which is free) and billiards as well, but I'm not sure how much that costs. The food is beyond mediocre - I would seriously consider coming here more often if the food was better! It's a shame Topgolf isn't truly within the confines of OneLoudoun, because then it would be easier to hop from restaurant to bar to Topgolf at ease! Their alcohol is also drastically overpriced. They have pricing on buckets, but the pricing isn't always as advertised. On one page of the menu, local bottles and cans are advertised as $6-6.50 per bottle, with an option to make a bucket of six. On the following page is a bottles and cans mix, starting at $33. The bucket pricing doesn't truly save you any money, because the higher price of any item you select prevails, and you just get your six selections in a physical bucket. You also can't mix between the local bottles/cans and the regular, which doesn't make a lot of sense! Topgolf is fun option for a group, but it isn't always cost effective! This place is so much fun! I've come to this location a couple times already, and everything was spectacular. They have several different games you can choose in the beginning (i.e, more or less challenging, different point systems, etc), and it's a fun and new experience. Recently had a bad experience at Top Golf at the Loudoun location. Our group consisted of 14 people, and we had booked two bays for 12 people, with 6 people assigned to each bay. Two individuals in our group were elderly and not planning to play. However, the floor manager, who identified herself as Pura, insisted that two people needed to sit outside the bay near the bar, citing a maximum of 6 people per bay, regardless of whether someone was playing or not. To compound our frustration, Pura revisited this issue multiple times, trying to enforce her decision even after our requests for reconsideration. To make matters worse, after coming home, I checked the Top Golf website, which clearly states that up to 8 people can be in a bay, with a maximum of 6 playing the game at once. This directly contradicts the information provided by Pura. She also mentioned that contacting corporate would yield the same response, which I believe is inaccurate based on the FAQ from your website. Such employees actions significantly diminish the experience for customers who visit Top Golf to enjoy and have fun. Please beware of this and fight it back to them , if they push so unwanted restrictions on you . Faq: How many people can play at once? Our bays comfortably accommodate 6 people with a max of 6 playing the game, but up to 8 people can be in a bay. we came tuesday mornings half price, it was good value for the golf itself, but friends wanted food, i really didnt want to, but i folded and got a chicken sandwhich with tots, the portions were good, food overall was like 6/10 in the moment, but i didnt feel that good later in the day, not like sick but just like not ideal compared to if i ate better quality food somewhere. our server was super nice and helpful, 9/10. overall it was nice, i usually have been at night or evening so it was different playing in the morning, didnt feel as top golfy without the lights and stuff. but its mid january and super cold, their heaters were surpassingly pretty good and kept it fairly warm for the most part. overall was a good experience, but to be honest avoid the food, probably the fried stuff, maybe i shoulda gotten a pizza. read more

This place is year-round fun! Each bay is heated so being there in the winter months is still an option. There are 3 levels of bays and they do a good job of getting people accommodated. We went on a busy Saturday evening. We were told that our group of 7 had a 45-minute wait for one bay. However, we barely had time to order a round of drinks at the bar before we received notification that our bay was ready! Their food is really good and we had excellent service! This is NOT an inexpensive outing, though, so be prepared to hand over a pretty penny for your day of fun. Our group was there for 3-hours. We ordered 3 appetizers, a couple rounds of drinks, and a round of shots. Our total bill (including the 3-hours of bay rental) was just under $450!!! Ouch! First time at this location and wow it's well thought out and beautiful. We used to go to the Alexandria location. Here, they have hourly rates and the clubs and balls are right there at the bay for the convenience. Seating is comfortable and gives people enough private space. We had so much fun and the server was great! The burgers were good. It got a little busy past 7pm on Thursday and our fries made it to us way later and cold, that was my only complaint but again they were getting busy. read more

First time at Topgolf and it was really fun! I was here with a group of 4 and played for 90 mins - we enjoyed drinks and food under heated lamps on the top floor (third level). We went on a slower day, but you should definitely go online ahead of time to reserve a spot. If it's your first time there you can register for a "lifetime membership" for $5. When you return you can search by your phone number or email. All my friends were right-handed, and they were able to accommodate my left-handness with lefty clubs. We played several games (TopGolf, TopChip, TopScore) they all were fun! The food and drinks were good, average prices for the area. The Top Golf scam It costs $$ to make a reservation ahead of time but when you walk-in without one there's no way to make a reservation, even if trying to pay. So you get thrown to the bottom of an arbitrary waitlist. Not to mention the scam of having to buy a card just to play their games. We came to Top Golf for our team luncheon and our visit was ok. We sat in the bar area and took up about 3 tables. My Moscow Mule tasted like a Lime Ginger Beer than a mule. It tasted as if the ratio of alcohol and ginger beer was wayyyyyyy off!!!! However my food was fantastic!!! I always stay true to my good heart and get the Fried Chicken Sandwich with the slaw on the side and I was given tater tots even though I asked fries!! I eventually got the fries I asked for. The barbecue sauce today had s extra kick to it but I was totally there for it!!! Dipping my fries in the BBQ was pure excitement!!! I've been to Top Golf in Loudoun One many times. Every single time I go the server service is terrible. Today on Tuesday 7/18/23 I booked a 1/2 off bay which is $26 (it use to be $22) and received my bay on time which is great. My assigned bay was between bay 200-225. I know the servers name but I don't want to call her out only because she wasn't unpleasant. She was extremely forgetful even though she was not busy. I asked for water and beer. I received my beer but I had to flag her to get my water. Ordered some food, and I didn't receive my tater tots. We also had to hunt her down to get utensils! I also asked her to put the bay bill on a separate bill other than the food and two drinks. Did she? No she forgot that too. If you want to play Golf, game on Fun spot. If you expect reasonable food and drink service from Teenagers you can simply forget it. I gave her a small tip for her substandard service. This top golf is better than the one in Alexandria! It is definitely nicer and has an automatic ball dispenser. There's also 3 levels and a bar/restaurant area. I would say the usual wait time is around 45 minutes to an hour, which is annoying because there is not much to do around the area. When you play, you don't need to bring your top golf card because the system can look up your account using your phone number. If you don't have an account, you can make one on the spot for $5. The seating area in the bay is very comfy and spacious! I would say 5 people can sit comfortably. I wouldn't recommend going with a group of more than 6 people in one bay (i would get 2 and split if there is more than 6). There are different games you can play so I really like that about this location. Also, you pay by the time you play, and not the ball (unlike the one in Alexandria). With a group of 6 people, we played 2 rounds of top golf game in 2.5 hours. Each person hit 10 balls at a time to speed up the game (we also played each person hits 5 at a time before). If you don't have golf clubs, they have a set at each bay area that you can use! You can also order drinks and food while you play so it's a good place to go hang out with friends. This place is kid friendly so it's a fun family outing as well! There is a huge parking lot so no need to worry about finding parking. read more

About 2.5 weeks ago, I reported a problem that occurred a week earlier. It related to food and service. Top Golf's Hugh D responded on Yelp, saying to reach out so he could "make things right." I reached out, and eventually someone left a voicemail on my cell number. I called back, leaving different ways to contact me (cell number for text, home number for voice calling, and email address). I have done that 3 times. No response. I did get an email (auto-generated) that asked how they did in resolving the issue. I responded that it had not yet been addressed at all. You can make reservations online but you can't call ahead for some reason. No reservations available so we waited and we did not feel safe and went someplace else. Price per hour/game is reasonable especially when splitting with a group of friends. During cold months, heat lamps keep the bays warm.
