It took 40 mins to get our drinks out after ordering, the beer was flat by the time we got here and the server Sophie never came back within the 40 mins not even to bring the waters we asked for at the beginning which we were greeted with an attitude so not much to expect there. They also charged us for a member fee when all of us have been before. The service should've been better since we are paying for our time which got completely wasted just waiting for drinks that we didn't even order food. My sons birthday was celebrated there. Everything was actually pretty good. Devon was our server and she was very pleasant and respectful while telling us the rules and protocol. We were told a manager would come out when time was almost up to add or remind us our time limit ended. I had requested a separate check for me and my fiance earlier to Devon. 1 manager came out first and we told them we were seeing if we wanted to add game time or not etc etc we we told them give us like 2 or 3 min and we were deciding thats when a second person came out with our checks we said we did not want to play. The person handed me my check and told me it did not include gratuity. Well I was a little shocked by that being said to me because I KNOW that and I thought it was tacky to even bring that up. It was insulting because he doesnt know me and my perception was he felt I would not tip or didnt know to tip. Very Rude. Topgolf was so fun! It was around $53 for an hour for up to 6 people per bay so a bit expensive but you get unlimited balls and swings. They have various game modes, from regular golf to angry birds. My friends and I had a blast playing angry birds haha. You can also order food and drinks with the waiters. Overall would recommend! read more

I have been here twice, once with friends and once on a date. Both times have been super fun, however I wish there was some sort of way to "pause" the game while eating. If you have a smaller party, I recommend waiting until you play out all of your time to order food, if you want to eat together. Otherwise the game clock continues to count down as you eat! Overall they have an okay selection of food and both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks although it is mostly bar/pub food. I definitely recommend giving it a try if you've never been! read more

A friend registered us to play at Top Golf and got profiled likely because of her young age or appearance. We ordered food and drinks like we normally do. About an hour and 30 minutes into a 2 1/2 hour session they asked me, not her, for a credit card. They also never returned to check on us after receiving the credit card. We did change waitstaff mid shift as our first waitperson, who was awesome, left. Frankly, this was the first time that they had asked for a credit card mid-game. ...and not the one that we close out with but any credit card. I asked the waitperson and they noted it wasn't her asking but she needed it. I asked if it was the manager that asked and thought we were going to walk off. She just giggled and walked away, likely uncomfortably, and could not get out fast enough. This was kind if offensive. Maybe they have had a whole lot of walkoffs recently. Walkoffs who register their name, email address, DOB, and phone number to that bay....? Walkoffs who drive up and park on camera? I am guessing the nice young lady our party of 6 was a guest of was profiled. The waitperson was nice as well but apparently was on a mission from the manager. I have removed my previous 5* review. Edit - she did return 34 minutes later to check on us near the end of the game to see if we were continuing. At 14 minutes she came by to ask if we were still OK. No asks for more drinks or anything else at 34 minutes. This confirms that she had been profiled and the manager wanted the group out because they thought we might walk off. Why? Because of the person who brought us? Who knows. All 3 kids and all 3 adults were behaving well and following the rules AND the manager never came to speak with us. We will put out the normal tip for good service. It's not her fault the manager didn't trust our host or us to pay our bill. Additionally, at 2 minutes left the game stopped working. A horrible experience. From the moment we arrived, we said we were celebrating my son's birthday. In the end, I reminded the server that's what we were there for. What if he brought me the donuts and they sang Happy Birthday to my son? He said he'd add 15 minutes while they brought the donuts. I said yes. Time passed, and he never came back. Someone brought the donuts, left them there, and walked away. I was still waiting. Suddenly, a man came and grabbed everything off the table. My son was eating the donuts. He said he had to take everything because someone else was coming. My son just stood there watching. So I told him we were waiting. I explained what was going on. He still took everything but said he would call the manager. He showed up with the manager, just to tell me he was sorry, but we had to get out of bay He kicked us out, leaving us wandering around near the bar with no idea where to go. We hadn't even received the check, and the manager, Dave, went to talk to the other employees like he didn't care about us. We were standing there, but we couldn't leave without paying. I drive my son 45 minutes to join friends for a birthday party .. and figured thrown my clubs in car and play an hour while there if there's space. Arrived and was told 1.5 to 2 hour wait... although 1/3 at most... maybe 1/4 of bays are in use. I don't have that kind of time so figured I'd just hang at the bar and have a beer. 20 minute wait to order a beer after multiple bartenders walk around looking away from sitting customers. There are 8 of us at a 40ish seat bar. Topgolf is all about protecting their interests in running up food bills parallel to the expensive golf. read more

This is a cool place to visit if you're looking to do something different. For the longest time I thought it was hitting a golfball into a simulated screen, but that's not it at all! It's open air, swinging golfballs to a shooting range with different targets. I kind of think it's like a bowling alley, but instead of lanes, it has golfing tee off boxes, and they are on 3 levels. The balls have a tracker and you can see where they go on the screen. The point system is a little off on some of the games, but it's overall very fun. If you can snag a 2nd or 3rd level lane, that's ideal. The food is better than I expected. I liked the hummus here a lot. The doughnuts are a great option, and $1 of each purchase of doughnuts goes to charity! The reason for 4 stars, is like many places, it was understaffed when we went. It took 30 minutes for the waiter to ask for our drink order, and there weren't that many tables. There are several promotional deals including a current deal for if you're in healthcare. Looking to go golfing (not necessarily real golfing), and never having tried TopGolf before, I decided to give this place a go. Golfing - There is a huge area where you golf. There are different size clubs and different types for your choosing, and you are on one of the 3 floors where you shoot. There are multiple, huge holes at different distances giving you different amounts of points, with the farthest ones giving you the most points. You can compete with your friends or family and see who got the most points. Parking - They have a free parking lot outside Overall, this place is great. Took my son and some friends to celebrate his 18th birthday. Something different. My wife had been there before for a company event, but this was my first time. Pretty cool set up. You have your own "booth" with a tee and seating. Think lanes at a bowling alley. You can choose your game - Angry Birds for one - and away you go. You have a host(ess) who gets your food and drinks. Even though it was a bit warm, they have fans to keep you comfortable. While his friend played, my wife and I sat inside and watched. Food was good, service too, and the fact that Tuesdays are half price sealed the deal. It can get expensive on weekends or at night, so look for weekdays or weekend mornings. I think we'll be back. Nice, large venue with plenty of booths available for use. On the day we went, it was rather dead, so we had the whole bottom floor to ourselves. The staff was helpful and friendly and the food was really tasty (the Buffalo Chicken Dip and the Pretzel Bites were awesome!). I came here recently on a Friday night with some friends--it was an hour and 20 mins wait time before a bay was available--okay, not too surprised since it's a Friday night. We added our name to the waitlist, and then went to grab food and drinks in the bar area (there's a full bar at this Topgolf!). By the time we finished our food, the bay was almost ready for us--by this time, more people were starting to leave. FOOD: I ordered the "short rib bao bun tacos"--the buns were over burnt (very visible too) and dry, and the short ribs was way overcooked and really chewy. However, their tater tots (side dish) are so good and very crispy. The service was fine. BAY AREA: The bay area has comfy couches at each bay for your group to hang out while you play, which I really like. Our drink order took FOREVER!! We ordered a few shots and pitcher of beer from our server, and it took 33 minutes before it came out to our bay! (Yes, I timed it because I was super annoyed especially because there were not many people left.) Our server was great though, he added an extra 15 mins free game time for us (thank you!). read more

I didnt like the fact that the top golf membership is specific to each location. So even though we already had one somewhere else we had to get another one at this location. We had a good time our server serena was attentive and friendly. I think the food and drinks took longer than expected but it was all good. I had a baileys and hot chocolate however it was tiny and I was done in like three sips. The food was excellent. It was a really nice location with clean bathrooms and beautiful finishes. Top notch professionalism! I booked a reservation for one bay, didn't cancel it, and booked another reservation for two bays instead and it was the wrong time. I'm the mess. Top Golf and I figured out my confusing problem at the moment of my son's party, cake in hand, friends coming in, and was so accommodating to get me two bays together right away. Then, while playing, they researched further and applied both of my reservation deposits to the bill, not just one, so I didn't pay extra even though the blunder was mine. The server was super attentive, brought a happy birthday sign for the bay (didn't know that was a thing so I wouldn't have known to ask) and checked our water was filled every 20 mins (hot day) and quickly brought us a cake server and forks for the birthday cake we brought. Honestly, I just felt they were looking out for me the entire time and made it so smooth. My now 7 year old and his friends had a blast. I've been here before with my husband or adult friends and enjoyed the outing/experience, but this felt beyond accommodating and kind! read more

We visited for the Tuesday promo and it was so much fun! I had never been to a Top Golf before and I had a really good time. To begin with, they have tons of parking and space. The location itself allows for social distancing as players remain in and are served in bays. We didn't feel too pressured on time during the game and I liked how we were able to choose the game and handle everything ourselves. Their menu is surprisingly full of great beers and drinks. We didn't try any food, but I may do that the next time I come here. Tuesday seems to be a really great option for anyone who wants to try Top Golf or play for a lower price. read more

The reservation process and antiquated systems are a nightmare the second you have to make a change or cancel. You must book a reservation online but you can't actually see it in your account after you do and in my case I did not receive a confirmation email. For that reason I called the day before to confirm the reservation. Twenty minutes back in forth with central guest services trying to contact Loudoun to find the reservation, they confirmed. Father's Day morn dad is sick and asks to cancel. I call at 11 am for another 15 minutes on the phone packing my patience. The gentleman finds the reservation and cancels. I ask twice if he is sure and he assures me he canceled and has also added in the notes a request for a one time refund under the circumstances. Around 5pm I start getting notifications from Topgolf followed by a request to check in to the Bay at 610. I call back again---dreading it--they don't see any cancellation or notes. What the heck. Now...I'm getting in the car and driving over to go talk to a manager. I have zero motivation to do this again anytime before a corporate announcement that there is a new reservation system in place. I was on the waiting list and got a notification from their system to come in, only to be told at the front desk that my bay wouldn't be available for another hour because they had closed the other floors. I always have a good experience when I visit this Topgolf location. The staff is friendly and have always maintained the necessary COVID precautions. Masks are required on entry and whenever you leave your bay. Every bay is divided by a clear screen. It's a nice little outing for those who want to get out and be active but not in a crowded space. The drinks are weak, and the food is okay but that's my only complaint..if you can even call it that. Highly recommend making a reservation if you plan on visiting during the weekend! read more

I have been to several different Topgolf. I love this place. It seems that everything is newer than some other Topgolf. It is a fun place to hang out with friends and family. The downside is slowness in service. Most waitresses are college kids or younger. Every time I ordered something, I had to wait for 30 minutes. This is across all the top golf that I've been to. This was my first visit here. I've heard quite a lot about this place when it first opened. It's definitely good for large groups to just have fun and let loose. They have an interesting system for booking the bays and setting up customers. I love how the staff wait on each Bay and they're very prompt with service. The food was....MEH. I ordered the quesadillas and my friend had the nachos. I wasn't a huge fan of either. We actually ordered at the bar, where we sat for about 5 minutes and no one approached us with a menu. After we finished eating, two hours had passed and we went to check our status. We were told that Platinum members had come in and we were bumped down the list and it would be another hour at least. So - we were expected to wait three hours to play golf?? This is NOT OK! But ... at this point Top Golf had already gotten our money for the food and drinks - so they win! It was already late and we could not wait any longer. We were looking for a fun family night that turned into mediocre, unhealthy food and NO GOLF. A group of us had gone and it was so much fun! There's a dj playing music and the place just has a fun atmosphere. This place is great for families, groups of friends, dates, etc. Food service and alcoholic beverages/service is available and you play a round of driving golf with each other. We went here on a whim today to try out the food (I can't even play goofy golf much less the real thing hah). The bar area is first come first serve and it's packed but everything moves quickly. Most groups are there until their spot opens up on the green. Since we were merely there for the food we tried a cheese flatbread pizza, the chicken and steak tacos (dos tacos per the menu), and the brisket grilled cheese. I'll give the pizza a 10/10 because my toddler nearly finished the entire thing. The tacos were about a 5/10 but still tasty. They just need some work on their flavor profiles. The brisket grilled cheese was delicious (9/10) I just wish they would have toasted the bread longer but they were probably rushing the kitchen to get the food out. Also, they asked us to pay up front - not sure if that's standard because people skip out on their bill and go play golf and they can't track them down or what...but I found it to be a little odd. We didn't mind though and actually prefer it that way so we can bounce as soon as we're ready (or in case of an unexpected toddler meltdown) Maybe that's how they turn over tables quickly too.... The more I come here with my family the more I question WHY I keep coming here with my family. Maybe I'm hoping the way they do things will change. Or maybe it's because, at the end of the day, my family has fun here. But that's in spite of their system for operations. First, during Covid they decided to go to this all QR-code scanning method of doing your ordering. Which made sense at the time. But not now. So you have to scan the code, get the menu, and place your order through the app. There are a few problems with that. 1. Your food is linked to where you order, so, say you have to wait for a Bay so you grab a seat in the restaurant area and order food and drinks.. While you're waiting your Bay is available so you figure you can transfer your tab to your Bay. Nope. You have to close out that one at the Bar area and open a new tab at your Bay. What's worse, if you don't take your drink cups with you, they'll charge you AGAIN for drinks at your Bay. And don't even get me started on if your Bay becomes available while you're still sitting for food. You can either choose to wait for the food and hope they don't give your Bay away or take the chance of never seeing your food until it is cold because the idea of getting it and taking it to your Bay seems beyond the comprehension of the Staff there. The orders are linked to the table where you scan the QR code from so, minimal thought expected on their part. 2. There are items on the PDF version of the menu that are not listed or available on their online ordering system so I guess you have to know a secret handshake to get those since you are expected to use the QR code to order from your Bay as well. Now for their reservation/waitlist system. I don't know who you have to pay off to get a Bay on the 2nd or 3rd floor. Either that or everyone who DOES get one has waited 1-2 hours... even AFTER putting themselves on the Waitlist through the app and checking in. There is no option to state a preference in the app so it's a crap shoot if you don't want the basement, I mean, First Floor. Because let's face it, the first floor is a second rate experience. Even though the charge the same rates. You feel like you're excluded from the "cool kids." Even the seating isn't as comfortable or inviting. No Bay separation or feeling of being just with your group. You literally spend time having into other people's chairs as you try to scoot in and out. I'm offended that they charge the same rates down there. It should be discounted. Oh, and when you get your Bay assignment, if you don't like the floor they put you on and ask if you can wait for a better Bay option, it's not as simple as just skipping over you. They make you go to the BACK of the line and start your wait all over again. Oh, and if you're going to have kids clubs, maybe invest in a few more sets so that families don't have 4 year olds trying to use adult clubs because you "ran out." Meanwhile a quick walk through the area will show you more than one set of kids clubs in a Bay because you decided to hand out two to one group. Bad policies, bad management, bad systems but, unfortunately, we'll probably keep coming because our family likes to golf. read more
