    Loaded Nachos

Ambience and service was good. A decent place to entertain the kids with bowling, arcade, etc. Food was sub par. Ordered the appetizer sampler which came with southwest egg rolls that were good. The loaded bake potato was dry. The sweet potato fries were soggy. Ordered the loaded nacho platter. The cheese sauce was bland and I couldn't even tell it had cheese. The ground beef was not seasoned. Seemed like they just crumbled left over hamburger meat on it. Both items seemed like it was sitting under a heat lamp just drying up. The only descent food was the pizza the kids had. I did tell our server and the manager came over to offer us a whole pizza to go for the issues. Even that they manage to screw up. They said it would be waiting for me when the family finished at the arcade. 30 mins pass by and it was time to leave. They just started the pizza in the oven. Very disappointing to say the least. I'd say skip the food and eat somewhere else in the mall. It would have been more satisfying to eat the bourbon chicken combo they sell in the food court.

Overall, the places is huge, but rather on the expensive side for the arcade with each game running on average eight credits which makes a $10 purchase of 40 credits. Only five games. The food was subpar pizza didn't even go to the edge with a huge crust and our nachos were cold. Overall the service was good but refills on soda were not included, and at four dollars for a 12 ounce soda with lots of ice doesn't seem worth it. I would not recommend this to groups.

this is the worst bowling alley I have ever been to, trash all over the ground, ground was to slipper, also the owner is very rude.

Let's go! I was sad when the Columbia location closed down, but Gaithersburg is still rocking and I think this arena is far more interesting than the Columbia one. The arena is the right level of dark with fog machines running too. There are several platforms with various access ramps. My favorite details is that a few platforms have a grate where players can shoot down at others below (watch out, they can shoot up at you too!). There are always rapid fire and mega power Gems for upgrades and a third that rotates by game (invisibility, invulnerability, dark thief), so definitely sign up for 3 games if you can to experience the full rotation. The prices are reasonable, especially in today's economy. There is a water cooler to refresh yourself between games, because you will work up a sweat between the crouching and quick moving around while wearing a phaser pack. It's our favorite workout, to be honest. There is an arcade with a variety of games, including prize games, driving games, and shooting games. The main area also has concessions to snack on. Overall, if you want some workout and fun, check out Shadowland.

The laser tag area and equipment looked good and was approved by the kids. They played two rounds and ate in between. It was a very successful party and according to my son his favorite one. As we walked around, I saw several arcade games that instantly brought back memories from the early 1980s -- the same kinds of games I grew up playing. The highlight for me was the new Star Trek pinball machine. Even though it's not one of the older classics, it quickly became my favorite. Watching the Enterprise light up and move up and down was just awesome, and sharing that moment with my kids made it even better. I also want to mention how impressed I was with the bathroom. It was very clean and surprisingly private -- the stalls have walls that go all the way from the ceiling down to the floor with no gaps, which you rarely see in public restrooms. It made the whole visit feel even more comfortable. Spinners is a great mix of nostalgia, modern arcade fun, and thoughtful details. We had a fantastic family day.

We were greeted as soon as we entered and the staff was friendly and personable. Very welcoming. We visited on a Saturday night and it was not too crowded, leaving us with plenty of options to roam around and play any games. My old childhood favorites brought back memories...Galaga and the finger blistering Track & Field. They are located in the back area next to the movies. There is plenty of parking available. They currently sell soft drinks and I was informed they will soon have their liquor license to sell beer.

So... this was an interesting experience in customer service!…read more I used the FANZO sports bar finder website (fanzo.com) to determine that a pay-per-view boxing event was "confirmed" (per the website) to be showing at Dave & Buster's Fairfax this past Saturday afternoon. I called the location ahead of time that Saturday and spoke to a D&B employee, who put me on hold to check with her manager. She returned a short time later and confirmed that the bar would be showing the boxing event. I drove 20+ minutes to the location and, after waiting at the bar for a while, was told that no, Dave & Buster's would not be showing the event--even though it had been listed as "confirmed" on the sports bar finder website and despite management apparently confirming it over the phone less than an hour earlier. Later that night, I emailed Dave & Buster's Guest Relations (corporate) to explain what had happened and express my frustration with the experience. To my surprise, they responded promptly the next day (on a Sunday!), apologized, and credited me with Dave & Buster's gaming chips as a gesture of goodwill. (I did have to pay a little out of pocket to purchase the Power Card needed for Guest Relations to transfer the gaming chips, but I nonetheless very much appreciated the goodwill gesture.) So I'd definitely rate the initial experience at the location a 1, but I'd rate D&B Guest Relations' prompt response and gesture of goodwill a 4 or 5. So they get a 3 overall from me (higher than their current Yelp average). I'll say that my experiences at this venue prior to this past weekend have generally been good. I just don't think I'll feel comfortable relying on watching any pay-per-view sporting events at this location anytime soon, and - given the experience I had here - would warn others to independently verify any pay-per-view event before making the trip, even if Dave and Buster's staff confirms it over the phone.
