The SIMPSONS arcade game, I remember as a kid
    Leigh D.

I know this moved locations from north Frederick to the westside to a bigger location. I've only been to the old location, but the new one is even bigger, so I imagine is even better. I went 3 times in March 2023, July 2023, & January 2024 with a Meetup group based in my county, Anne Arundel, a far cry from my home just over 50 miles, but worth the drive out here. The 2 times I went in 2023, I carpooled with others. The time I went in January 2024, I was already in Gaithersburg, so a lot closer. The group that went is a games Meetup group, which posted to do a shorted game day and leave around 6:30 PM from Glen Burnie at that time in March 2023. I rode with this very tall chick who I had some interest in. Unfortunately, on that over hour drive out there, the conversation with her was pretty stagnant and realized she probably wasn't a good match for me. We arrived and you paid $15 to get in. I was nice and paid for hers since she had driven the over 100 miles roundtrip. This place was cool. Unlimited games, lots of varieties of pinball machines from 1950's to now, skeeball, 4-way air hockey table, & other arcade games like Mortal Kombat, Simpsons, & more. The group mostly stayed until closing time at midnight on that Saturday night. The woman who drove said she was very tired about an hour before closing time to coordinate me riding with someone else back. They sell drinks, alcoholic & non-alcoholic as well as snacks. The group had ordered pizza from Papa John's in the same center, which was could The Meetup group decided to do this as separate event on a Sunday in July 2023 & again in January 2024. I had a girlfriend from the group for a few months in spring-summer of 2023. There was some miscommunication with her as I had thought we were carpooling together, but she had assumed we were just meeting there. But when I texted her that afternoon, she said she didn't realize, but was at Walmart by Arundel Mills and to meet her there. I had bought her chocolate at Walmart as an apology for the miscommunication. She was kind of cold & expressed she was pissed about it. Sunday, January 14 was my friend's birthday, where we had a lunch for her, and then we went to a movie in Gaithersburg. I had gotten to the Meetup a little late and told that it was at capacity and we'd get a call when we could get in. Some were in there already enjoying games. But someone else from the group who arrived at a similar time as me walked in the bitter cold to explore the area. We got in after about 45 minutes of walking around. We enjoyed the games per usual. I look forward to trying the new location at some point in the future.

Was looking for a pinball arcade for my eight year old son and found this gem! -You can stay as long as you like, leave, and come back -Pay one fee to play all the arcade games you like -Come on a weekday to take advantage of their deals -The place may look small but has a larger room in the back -Filled with old school pinball machines, new touch screen virtual pinball, old arcade games (air hockey, time crisis, Daytona USA, DK, Assault, Pacman, DDR like) -Sells sodas and some adult beverages -Food places all around the arcade, You can grab a bite somewhere nearby and come back -Not crowded and family friendly (my five year old daughter loved it) Would definitely return again!

Really cool spot and what a deal!! $15 all you want play and you can leave and come back that day! They are a nonprofit, which is great. They also seem to do parties. Parking can be a little hard, but we found a spot. Way more areas than just the front room. We had lots of fun. You can order alcohol as well.

Great place to spend an afternoon! It's inexpensive (we spent $50 for unlimited play for 4 people; staff even said we were welcome to leave and come back if we wanted). We spent about two hours playing all our favorite games and had a blast! We were never without a new game to play in that time, but should note there were a number of machines that were out of order and during the time we were there, all the skeeball machines unfortunately broke down. Still, all in all, it was really fun and would happily go again!

This place is so much fun! Don't be fooled by it's meager exterior. Pop right in, and you'll be immediately forced to say, "Wow! It's a tardis-- so much bigger on the inside!" There are pinball machines, old school button mashing machines, skeeball, air hockey, and the coolest game may have been the 3D TV with various versions of pinball. We (a family of three with an 8 year old) spent 5 hours playing, and my daughter definitely plans to go back. The way the games are laid out, it doesn't feel crowded. We got there early-- with hardly anyone else there. By the time 3 or 4 rolled around, there were plenty more people, but I didn't feel scrunched (it's covid-times people, this matters). They do sell beer and soft drinks, but I highly recommend walking across the street for a brew from Midnight Run. And then come back. They stamp your hand so you can leave and come back. For $15/person, this was awesome.

Donkey Kong Junior! Not as fun as Frogger, which they also have, but definitely more photogenic.

This place may be in a super sketchy strip mall, but the place is amazing! The front desk staff member was super friendly, they've got games galore--including old school consoles hooked up to giant TVs, you can go in and out as much as you want and play all day for just $15! The most surprising thing to me was the lady going around, sanitising all the games. Definitely do not miss this amazing little hole in the wall!

Really a hidden gem in Frederick, unlimited play and it's actually fun, they even have tv's set up for classic consoles and all types of different games other than Pinball!

Pinball machines are great, huge selection. But the many of the arcade games need their joysticks and buttons repaired.

We all agreed prior to the event that we would work together and split the profit three ways when it sold. The sheet was stored at Tournament City Games for the time being. Three years later I wake up to a facebook post of the same, one of a kind, sheet being listed for sale by a guy named Landon Artherholt. After some digging I learn that they sold the sheet out of the public eye to avoid giving us a cut. When nick made his distaste about the situation known they messaged him privately and paid him (sounds a lot like hush money) to try to stop the noise around the situation, yet nothing has been said to me. I've known the owners of tournament city games for years so none of this surprises me. The talks of not giving me my cut began shortly after we won the sheet because Robert had put in more tickets towards it than I did. I do think it's worth noting that the reason for this is that I actually competed in side events to earn my portion of the tickets whereas he (against Konami policy) purchased his tickets from participants at the event. So.... what an adventure to drop in here way far away near the Walkersville area of Frederick. The rink itself looks like it could be from any era in the last 50 years, but really, what do you want from an ice skating rink? Parking is easy. Finding the location is easy. Going to the register and paying for your pass and rental (if you don't have your own skates) is easy. The cost is incredibly low - I feel like they were cheaper than when I was in high school back in the day in a land far far away from this place. Anyhow, getting your skates, also incredible easy. They have lockers for your stuff that cost you, wait for it, 2 quarters! So cute! They have a few vending machines, mostly ice cream, and a snack bar where you can get some cheap food and beverages. It is not expensive by any measure. They have teams and others who train and play here, but they have open skates. The open skates are usually on the weekends. And, again, wow, I could not believe how cheap. We had a great time skating, but since we're not 12 year old children, our bodies were a little less flexible and a lot more sensitive, so we didn't even last the whole 1.5 hour session. Ha ha! We still had a fabulous time, and will probably go back winter holidays 2024 for a new tradition. In other words - highly recommended for a cheap, short adventure!

I don't remember the gentleman's name, but he was incredibly kind and attentive. He came by our table multiple times to check on us and make sure we didn't need anything. At one point we spilled something, and he quickly came over to help clean it up. He even asked if it was okay to spray the table before doing so, which I appreciated. We've had some not-so-great weekend experiences here in the past -- overcrowded, no parking, long food waits (once we waited almost two hours for pizza and they ran out of items). Weekends can be chaotic. But this weekday visit? Much smoother, pleasant, and enjoyable. If you're planning to go, I highly recommend going during the week if possible.

Much easier to have them do the cake, it was $24.99, it was the larger cake. Pizza was good, the slices were TINY, but it was a good size for kids! The table had party hats, cups and plates. We had two hours for our party. The package I got comes with 2 slices of pizza per kid and a pizza for the adults, kids drinks are included and it came with dippin dots ice cream. I believe it was the best value package. They allow for 2 no shows, meaning you can get reimbursed if 2 kids don't show up. I wish I had thought of doing a kids party here before. The place was clean too. Having to pay extra for the trampoline was extremely disappointing. I had paid for the package and it should include all the games/activities. That's the reason I picked Chuck E Cheese instead of Urban Air. It would have cost me an extra $180.00 to pay for socks and admission for the trampoline for all the kids that attended the party. I did not want the parents to have to pay.

Where else can you see blue ribbon tomatoes from local gardens, taste wines from the vineyards all around Maryland, see a concert with a relevant country artist, ride the rides, and eat the latest deep-fried desert deliciousness? For eight bucks? We were seriously blown away. Daughter and I found parking for five dollars within 100 feet of the main entrance. There were acres and acres of rides and games and all the usual carnival stuff! There was a fun house that looked like the one in "Grease", and of course the old standbys like the giant Ferris wheel, the zipper, the tilt a whirl, and the octopus. There were many many more. You could spend the whole day and go on all the rides. And of course there are arcades of all sorts that you can win anything from a live fish to a giant low-quality stuffed animal. And they had all the deep-fried stuff. We had a funnel cake with ice cream and sprinkles that was the size of an apple pie. But we could've tried the deep-fried Twinkies, or the deep-fried Snickers bar had we had it in us. Perusing the agricultural barns was really fun to see the winning zinnias, tomatoes, and senior art projects. For a moment I felt like I was in 1917 not 2017! At night the fair lit up with all the moving parts of all the rides in with huge crowds and the country singer in the background and it really was a feel good old fashion way to spend the evening, dazzling the senses on a warm Indian summer eve.
