This has become my 10-year-old son's favorite retro store. We have visited about 10 times since…read morediscovering it this past summer. It has very good pricing and a great selection of games and consoles. Consoles generally range from the Atari VCS (2600) to seventh generation (360, DS, Wii, PS3). Consoles come with one controller and the attachments needed to hook the system up to a TV. The console software is pretty extensive, starting with the NES and running up through 7th gen. Most of the handheld is Gameboy and DS. Once again, their selection is rather well rounded. Some of the more premium titles are located in the display case back by the register. There are also some rare curiosities in the collection that were pleasant surprises ( I never expected to see a full catalog of Virtual Boy software on display anywhere ). Something to be aware of is that any retro purchases can sometimes not work out. We have had one GBA cart and an XBOX cd fail to start when trying out the software at home. The store has a very generous return policy. I believe as long as you bring back the title within 10, they will accept returns and exchanges. The staff is very friendly and will always try to help out. In our cases, the store gave us a direct exchange on the scratched XBOX disc after trying to repair it instore, and a full refund for the GBA game. The store also has other typical collections (Trading Card Games, Funko Pops and other figurines). These are not my area of expertise, so I can't comment on the selection or prices. Several arcade machines are set on free-to-play mode at the store entrance to round out the experience. If vintage video games are your thing, then Retro Loot is definitely worth checking out.

They had a large store with clearly labeled although crowded, aisles of comic, anime, cartoon, manga, clothing, and other items. This store is clearly a comic book lovers dream with a library of new and vintage ones that were for sale. They even had a basement area filled with comic books to purchase in bulk and video games to play. All in all, if you are looking for a specific comic book, manga merch, anime merch, Funko Pops and the like to add to your collection, this store is a must visit.

I'm always down for a claw machine (a regular at Round 1 back home) and love trying out new ones. Unfortunately this one failed to make the mark. First the prices arent unreasonable. We spent about $24 + tax and got 23 tokens. Staff were pleasant which is why I tacked on an extra star otherwise it would be a one. Where I took off MAJOR points was the grip on the machine. Most times the claw would clearly grab the prize, get within an inch of the drop point then just drop the prize so it toppled back out of reach. OK once or twice thats the fun of the risk involved but EVERY CRANE did this. Somehow we hit the algorithm right and left with a hello kitty key chain and some off brand cat charm. They also sell figures but I would be weary. Prices seem ok but I did see some bootlegs floating around, esp in the cranes themselves. I wish I'd seen this place before it moved. Seems like management got cheap or greedy and now rigs the machines so you constantly need to call staff over to "fix" something.

Superbit is a retro gamestore and may accept some popular game consoles and rare games. I was greeted and was helped right away. The store employee knew exactly why I was there. He noticed the bright green color of my Pokemon leaf green and stopped everything to assess the value of my total trade in. If I had known how much Pokemon would have blown up in the past, I would have kept all of my cards and games and sold them here. Fun fact: The game box/packaging is worth more than the game itself. If you have a mint condition box that the game came in, it could be worth a lot. I thought I ended up with a good bargain because of the quick trade in and knowledge base of the employee. I am glad I got rid of my childhood games for some cash. I learned that retro stores like this is considered like an antique store.

The really neat thing is that they offer a subscription service that you can manage online and just come in and pick up your comics.
