To recap, I previously made a trip to this location to purchase some Yugioh singles. Prior to making the trip, I called them and they told me they went by the market prices listed on TCG.com. When I got to the store, they were quoting me prices that were much higher than the TCG.com market prices and that threw me way off. If they weren't going to honor the prices they told me over the phone, why make me drive almost 20 miles away to be told something else different. I left and decided I wouldn't buy anything from them if they were running the ole bait and switch tactics. About a month later, my cousin wanted to see what they had in stock and I decided to drive him to TCG. To call them out on their bait and switch tactics, I asked them straight up why I was told one thing over the phone and when I came into their store, they told me something else different. The store manager/owner gave me a good explanation and said their card prices are sold at a minimum because the customer is paying something like an organizational fee. He said if there was a particular card someone was looking for, they could locate it under 30 seconds and won't be looking through boxes and boxes of cards for several minutes because all of their stuff is organized and in order. I understood that concept because it's very rare that someone can go to a card shop and the product is well organized. I wish they would have explained that to me during my first visit. It actually makes a lot of sense. Other than that, their place is very organized, its very clean, the playing area is very cozy, and they have almost everything that you might be looking for. Their prices for singles may be a little high, but they'll definitely have what you're looking for and it beats buying your stuff directly than taking a chance with an online vendor and possibly getting scammed.

I don't collect/play cards and/or play tabletop games, I just go there for the retro video games…read more So, keep that in mind. They have GREAT stock with plenty to choose from. But all the staff is always by all the cards, there's never anyone by the games to let you look at things in the case, etc. It's a little annoying finding someone every time you want to look at a binder of loose games or see the quality of a game in the case. But they're always friendly!

Best retro shop around by far. Easily the largest selection of games with everything from common to…read morerare titles. The staff is courteous and knowledgeable. It was also great to see Matt and John from the previous Frederick location work here now. The pricing is accurate to current market rates. My only critiques are that I would like to see some of the games cleaned up more and the regional variants marked clearly so customers know if their product is not an original US release.

I even found Utopia with the box, manual and plastic controller overlays for Intellivision! That game is classic! Surprisingly, the prices are amazing. On my last visit, I walked out with about eight Xbox 360 and Xbox One games and spent about $65. I honestly don't know how they do it. The shop is small, but they pack a surprising large inventory. It's definitely worth a visit.

They had a large store with clearly labeled although crowded, aisles of comic, anime, cartoon, manga, clothing, and other items. This store is clearly a comic book lovers dream with a library of new and vintage ones that were for sale. They even had a basement area filled with comic books to purchase in bulk and video games to play. All in all, if you are looking for a specific comic book, manga merch, anime merch, Funko Pops and the like to add to your collection, this store is a must visit.

Superbit is a retro gamestore and may accept some popular game consoles and rare games. I was greeted and was helped right away. The store employee knew exactly why I was there. He noticed the bright green color of my Pokemon leaf green and stopped everything to assess the value of my total trade in. If I had known how much Pokemon would have blown up in the past, I would have kept all of my cards and games and sold them here. Fun fact: The game box/packaging is worth more than the game itself. If you have a mint condition box that the game came in, it could be worth a lot. I thought I ended up with a good bargain because of the quick trade in and knowledge base of the employee. I am glad I got rid of my childhood games for some cash. I learned that retro stores like this is considered like an antique store.
