Terrible customer service from the older men and they take their smoke breaks at the entrance. The only nice employe is a younger woman. Figurines are bootleg, nothing with official seals but will range 200+ dollars! INSANELY overpriced pokemon cards, scalper pricing!!! Not a safe space for women, I will not be returning.

They had a large store with clearly labeled although crowded, aisles of comic, anime, cartoon, manga, clothing, and other items. This store is clearly a comic book lovers dream with a library of new and vintage ones that were for sale. They even had a basement area filled with comic books to purchase in bulk and video games to play. All in all, if you are looking for a specific comic book, manga merch, anime merch, Funko Pops and the like to add to your collection, this store is a must visit.

Nice sized selection, including a lot more slabs than I've seen in most comic shops. Definitely a must-stop-by if you're in the area.

I was rudely told, actually ordered, out of the blue, with no warning or previous interaction, to pick up the 4 vinyl records, a CD and 2 books that my husband and I wanted to purchase, because they were temporarily placed on top other records as we were getting ready to pay and leave the store. I asked if the woman was the owner of the store and I told them that the attitude was unacceptable and uncalled for. She kept being rude and at that point I got upset and told her to f**k off. Well, instead of apologizing we were told that they had the right to refuse service, and we were asked to leave. I see, from some of the other reviews I've read, that this is common and acceptable behavior at Second Story Books. I've always believed in supporting the local businesses over the internet, but there is no way in hell that I would ever walk back into that store.
