Such a fun place to take the kids! But obviously not just fun for the kids... I originally came here to have the kids play and I definitely ended up playing more than my kids haha. They were hoping I would win items better! Even watching them or them watching me was fun! Shout out to the awesome worker DINO!! He was so awesome and kind to my kids, explaining how these claws worked, even explaining what might help to win items! We spent so much on one machine he gave my kids chances and was rooting for them to win!! My kids couldn't stop talking about the kind worker who helped them win a stuffy they spent a lot of tokens to get! So to say the workers there are awesome is an understatement! Or maybe just that awesome dude Will definitely be coming back read more

: I don't really go to claw machines, but this one was a really fun experience even if it's kinda small! Would go back for the friendly atmosphere itself. Ethan really helped us out and made sure everyone left not empty handed. (Even if collectively spending $180+ lol...) Felt like talking to someone you are already acquainted with haha. read more

Meow Claw - Video Game Stores Near Me - Rockville, Maryland

Like another reviewer said I really wanted to like this place and add it to our roster of places to check out in Rockville. I'm always down for a claw machine (a regular at Round 1 back home) and love trying out new ones. Unfortunately this one failed to make the mark. First the prices arent unreasonable. We spent about $24 + tax and got 23 tokens. Staff were pleasant which is why I tacked on an extra star otherwise it would be a one. Where I took off MAJOR points was the grip on the machine. Most times the claw would clearly grab the prize, get within an inch of the drop point then just drop the prize so it toppled back out of reach. OK once or twice thats the fun of the risk involved but EVERY CRANE did this. Somehow we hit the algorithm right and left with a hello kitty key chain and some off brand cat charm. They also sell figures but I would be weary. Prices seem ok but I did see some bootlegs floating around, esp in the cranes themselves. I wish I'd seen this place before it moved. Seems like management got cheap or greedy and now rigs the machines so you constantly need to call staff over to "fix" something. read more

Came by to check out Meow claw and this place is a kid's dream! There are some games on one side, "gumball" type prize machines in the back and plenty of claw machine. We struck out after $30 so the store associate was so kind and gave us a couple extra tokens and helped my daughter win a large and small prize! I could not appreciate him more! A fun experience for sure! read more

Meow claw is so fun!! my boyfriend and I always have a great time here. I brought my coworkers here once too and they had a blast. There's a huge variety of claw machines including plushies, keychains, and figurines for things like Pokemon, Sanrio, anime, etc. They also have a variety of arcade games. The staff are so friendly and awesome - shoutout to Ethan, Aidan, Dino, Lena, and Hao!! They're always available to help adjust the claw machines prizes if needed and give helpful pointers. You can spin a prize wheel for every $50 spent, and you get a pillow if you spend over 200. Overall, it's the perfect place to bring friends, family, a date, or even by yourself! read more

Place looks clean and upscale. Didn't try the claw machine but their cafe. Of all the surrounding milk tea places, 'twas my least favorite. But they have bingsu, photo booths, outdoor bench with huge strawberry, and it's in a mall area with free parking so I'm giving it a 4. read more

We drove from Hagerstown, MD to take my baby girl for her 14th birthday. Totally worth the drive the vibe was amazing, the employees were so helpful and went out of their way to make sure my kids went with prizes. I will be going back it was a so much fun AND they went home with prizes... not like a traditional arcade where you have to rack up 1000000 points to win a small little thing. 10 stars. And Ethan the employee that helped us was absolutely amazing!!! read more

Just a fun time. You want stuff you don't need and have fun getting it?! Meow claw is for you. Had a great time here even though I had to ban my partner from ever coming back lol. Staff were great. And just a fun time read more

Super cute spot! I usually come here after a meal, as the surrounding area is mostly restaurants. It's a small space, so it can feel cramped when it's busy- but otherwise I think the ambiance is very cute! The staff is also super helpful. A lot of claw machine spots really only want your money, but the the staff help you and give you tips if you are struggling, and will even step in and help you themselves if you spent a lot of money on one machine and need assistance! A lot of familes go there, so it's a great spot to bring your kids- and the prizes are also super cute! read more

This was a very new, and very cute claw machine place. No one, in our party of four, won a single prize. Needless to say, this wasn't very fun. We don't have to win the big prizes, but no one walked away with a prize. After our claw experience in Las Vegas, when we had so many prizes we were giving them away, this was a big disappointment. read more

Love this place! All the staff are very helpful and friendly! Ethan helped with showing us how to win and made the day special! Stopped into Meow Claw in Rockville just to check it out, and it's definitely a cool little spot. The whole place has bright lights and neon everywhere, so it feels really fun as soon as you walk in. It's set up kind of like a mini arcade with tons of claw machines lined up. They also had drinks and slushies available, though I didn't grab one this time--I was more just looking around. From what I saw, it seemed like a fun place to hang out for a bit, especially if you like those claw games and the whole neon arcade vibe. Overall, it's a cool, unique spot in the area. I'd probably come back when I've got more time to actually play the machines or grab a drink. read more

I happened to be in the area for this spot and just decided to check it out. My brother had been to the smaller location before but this is the new location! I think they just moved so I was glad to be able to check out the new location. This place is huge! We played a couple games and actually won a couple small prizes. The smallest ones were the easiest but after that they were kinda hard. It was fun activity though to be able to do with my brothers that wasn't typical like bowling or something. We might go back but you'd definitely spend a good amount of money here. All in all we had lots of fun and now I have a cute new keychain. Definitely check out their new location! read more

came here after a disappointing dim sum experience in the area. I figured it was my birthday and the kids needed a treat. we purchased $50 worth of coins for them to play. we won a few things here and there. the employees were the best though! they were so sweet to my kids and let them swap the items for what they wanted. I won a few things I wanted (the smaller claw machines are the best IMO). the pay out on the small claw machines was better than the bigger ones! read more

So we all know that claw machines are filled with treasures that, in a nutshell, most will not obtain...and that's OK. You win some and you lose some. It's the experience. At Meow Claw you pay for shiny tokens that can be used in adorable machines which require 1-3 per play. You have a bright area filled with pretty colors and the aesthetic is unmatched. It's like stepping into a different world! The employees are the SWEETEST and did a great job of making sure people were happy. I saw families, groups of friends, and an adorable couple on a date. Everyone was laughing, having a good time, super excited when they won and cracking up when they didn't. Think of claw machines like playing slots at the casino. Sometimes it's skill and sometimes it's luck. Keep your expectations in check and you'll have an amazing time :D Bonus: there's plenty of dining options in the area, so it's easy to pop in before or after for a quick session. You might win something! read more

Very fun place! One of the employees, Ethan, was kind and taught us some cool tricks for the claw machines. Will be coming back soon :)

I had such a great experience at Meow Claw in Rockville, and a big part of that was Ethan!!! He's veru kind and genuinely makes the whole experience fun. You can tell he wants everyone to win and enjoy themselves, which makes a huge difference when you're playing the games The atmosphere was welcoming, and I felt comfortable thanks to how friendly and attentive the staff were. Ethan especially stood out to us.....he was patient, encouraging, and made sure we had a great time!! Highly recommend stopping by if you're in the area. It's such a fun spot, and people like Ethan make it even better :) read more

We had fun last time so we came back. So disappointing. The machines just dropped the toys even when they were securely in the claw. Pick up, bring to the chute, then entirely open and drop the toy. This makes it a game of chance. It's much larger than it used to be. I asked for $10 worth of coins, which listed as 11 coins. They charged me $11.09. That's not how tax works. It was a ripoff. Don't waste your time. read more

Great japanese style claw machines in the area! All of the stuffies weren't packed in like more claw machines in the area. Meow claw just opened and was great in spreading out the toys. Lots of different toys to choose from. Most of the games require two coins to play. There's a slight discount when you buy the coins in bulk. read more

The staff is amazing and super friendly. I honestly do not understand why so many people have negative things to say. We manage to get a couple of wins without an issue. So I think it's more on the player than the machine the problem. It is well-maintained and very clean read more

Meow Claw has a great variety of claw machines ranging from 1-3 tokens per play. The odds of winning are higher than most claw machine arcade. They have a great selection of figures for sale, as well as the coveted Labubu's. The owners ever tipped us off that they will be receiving the Coke Labubu's next month. If you spend $50 or more you get to spin the wheel for additional prizes. I won a 10% off of next token purchase and two Meow Claw keychains. The coupon was redeemable same day. Meow Claw - We won!!!! - Video Game Stores Near Me - Rockville, Maryland

I really wanted to like this place, but unfortunately it was a huge disappointment. We spent around $50 trying multiple machines. The stuffies and keychains were positioned in great spots -- several times the claw grabbed them perfectly -- but they either slipped out or didn't drop properly. After all that money, we walked away with just one small stuffy. Compared to other claw machine arcades we've been to, the win rate here feels extremely low and honestly pretty scammy. The most frustrating part was when one machine clearly grabbed our prize and carried it to the drop area... and it just didn't release. When we pointed it out, the only response we got was, "Keep trying." No help, no adjustment, no refund -- just spend more money. The whole experience felt rigged and disappointing. We definitely won't be coming back. read more

Meow Claw is so much fun! They have probably 20+ claw machines with a variety of prizes of different sizes! Cute spot with a variety of claw machines and prizes. It's $1 per token and most machines are 1-2 tokens per play. It's a small space so it does get a bit crowded. And like most claw machine places, the prizes appear deceptively easy to win but of course that's not the case! read more

Meow Claw is such a fun experience! I spent about 20 dollars to get about 20 tokens. The machines range from 1 to 3 tokens per play. The claws actually grab the items unlike other claw machines. The prizes are cute and you can exchange the prizes if you don't like yours. The workers are so friendly. They put the prizes in a position that is easier to grab which I appreciate. Can't wait to come back! read more

This is a claw machine fun land. Not a big place. Lively atmosphere, bright and vibrant lighting coming out of the machines. Friendly staff. Took my 2 young sons there yesterday. They had a fun time playing nearly every claw machine. While on the pricey side for tokens and the small toys they win, the employees-Ethan and Dylan- were extremely friendly and gave us tips of how to deploy the claw. They helped to make sure we walked out with a prize! They were fantastic! I agree that the claw will grab the toy and suddenly loosen its grip as it approaches the chute... but I suppose that's part of the fun (and frustration). The place was clean and tidy. I would bring the kiddos there again. Thank you Ethan and Dylan! read more

This place is awesome... like super kawaii awesome fun time awesome... staff was really friendly. But what's weird... as I let my 6 year old chug coin after coin to fail and I'm wondering if this I'm helping inadvertently enabling childhood gambling... I... I... I don't know where I'm going here. Anyway... this place is super kawaii and I took a bunch of pictures and posted it on my Instagram. Man... I'm sorry. I was trying to go for a weird oddly fun vibe but it just now felt super sadly depressive... sad face emoji. read more

This place is adorable. It has a small section of anime merch in the back and when you walk in your greeted with brightly lit machines that tease you with tons of cute prizes.
