As a family, my husband, daughter, and myself, we visited this interesting spot. It was a bit pricey to get in but with the fee came unlimited game play. They have a ton of pinball, fighting games, and even an area with a couch to sit down to play Nintendo or a pc game. We love to find hidden gems or quirky places and this one is most definitely both. We wandered in half way through a cosplay drag show which was a ton of fun and silliness. Our daughter is 18 and I hope these are the sort of places she will go. Reclaim Arcade is located in a small building that's part of a larger shopping center, if you have trouble finding it look for the Quality Inn. Road and parking lot could be in better condition. Check your hours when planning a trip here, as hours during the week are more limited. Entrance is through the doors with the Reclaim Video sign. $15 for unlimited play. Inside, the initial rooms are very retro with shelves full of VHS tapes and LaserDiscs. There's an area with a couch and TV setup to watch these that also included an old computer loaded with classic computer games. They also have a bar and grill area, with appetizers, burgers, pizza, and other items. Alcoholic beverages are also available and there is seating. Machine lineup is almost totally stand-up arcade cabinets and pinball machines. A few of the pinball machines needed some work like Evil Dead as it had problems with errors, and it felt like it was leaning. Pulp Fiction, Pokemon, and World Cup Soccer all played well and were enjoyable. Most of the arcade cabinets seemed to be in good shape with a few needing screen work, but sadly Spy Hunter was totally out of action. The mix of cabinets without question leaned towards older games. Overall, Reclaim Arcade is absolutely worth a visit. read more

This place is so cool! We stopped by on a whim and were very pleasantly surprised. The front person was very nice and let us look around before paying $10 for unlimited game play! I just love the scroller games like TMNT, X-Men, and The Simpsons. They had Street Fighter, Mortal Kombat AND lots of pinball! We ended up eating here, and split the loaded fries and pizza burger. The burger was a bit bland, so I would recommend maybe a different one. It did come with fries though, so plan accordingly. I really liked the loaded fries, but we had left overs. read more

This was an accidental find. We were looking for a comic store and saw reclaim video and looked it up. Curiously we walked in to find out there is a really cool retro arcade in the back. $10 per person for all you can play. It was fun and they had a lot of pinball machines and retro games such as X-men , time crisis , mortal combat and street fighter . They do have food and drinks. Their food serving sizes are very generous. Love their loaded fries . We tried their special pizza burger and it was ok. I would recommend the loaded fries. Hubs and I went to Reclaim Arcade on a Sunday afternoon. It was fun. There were so many pin ball machines and video games, I couldn't get to all of them. There were a lot of people there that resulted in some waiting for popular machines. There are other machines to play while waiting. There were a lot of kids there and it was noisy. If you are sensitive, that might be an issue. I was able to simply ignore it. The outside space was used as the smoking pad, so I avoided it. There is food available but we didn't get a chance to try it. We will go back. It was good, clean fun that reminded me of a simpler time. read more

This place has become one of my absolute must-dos when I'm in the Fredericksburg area. Love the "play all you want" approach for a flat fee. The employees are very kind and customer-service oriented. The food and drinks are good and now include beer, wine, and cocktails. The wide range of games are all well maintained, and if you note any repair needs, there is a way to report them with a QR code so they can be addressed. There are fun themed nights and events that draw different crowds and offer social opportunities for guests. It's a special place. Wish we had one here in SC! read more

Came here a day before Halloween and I can't reiterate how exciting and fun this place is. It was $15 for two people and totally worth it. Everybody from the cashier man in the front to the DJ and the Personnel in the back for all cordial and helpful if you need any help with anything. Not one person looking like they did not want to be there or staying under phones like you find at other places. Lots of different types of arcade games as well as current pinball games. If I only had one miniscule gripe it's that some of the flippers need a little bit of strengthening on the solenoid side as far as the flippers because sometimes they do not really make it up to their target but it's wear and tear it normally everywhere so this is not out of the norm. Everything else okay This place sells food and alcohol so no need to go anywhere. Definitely worth the hour drive to Fredericksburg Virginia where I'm staying and hopefully this visitors thrives and expands. read more

Fabulous date night destination for Gen X and ppl who wish they were Gen X. If you miss old-school arcades, you'll love this place. My husband loves arcades so much he married one. Ha! (yes my name is Arcadia). The vintage games at Reclaim Arcade are still so fun. There's a ton of popular names here but for my money it doesn't get any better than Burger Time, which I sat and played until I conquered 4/5 of the high score slots (I couldn't get rid of the 3rd place initials, grrrrr.) There's also a living room set up w a tweed couch, coffee table, TV & various waves of pre-Internet media players/consoles, including VCR - which is how my husband & I watched "Thelma & Louise" on VHS tonight. There is a room that looks like an early 80s living room with an Atari to play and then you walk through that to the arcade. A lot of the classics here. Most of the games are in good shape. A few needed a reboot and Qbert's panel needed some tightening. We played Gauntlet forever which was a lot of fun. 80s music is piped in as you wander around searching for the next thing to play. They offer sodas and movie theatre type snacks for sale. No alcohol. They have a good selection of pinball machines mostly not from the 80s. Sooooo good. Brought me back to my childhood days. Many games that i had forgotten about. So here is how it all works. You walk in. They have a wall of vhs videos. Can you sit and watch them....Absolutely!!!! You pay 15 bucks to get in... that covers all your games. All the games are quarter free. Just push one player or 2 and start your game. You walk through the front entrance and then into another room. This room was set up like a living room. With all the systems. Nintendo, supernintendo, Sega genesis. You just sit on the couch and pick your poison to play. They had a wall of records. Not sure if you can play them. Once you leave the living room area you walk into a hall that holds all the video arcade games... They had Galaga, Mr and Ms Paxman, qubert, frogger, mortal Komatsu, pinball machines, super Mario Brothers, asteroids, the list goes on.. They had a food truck in the back. The food looked pretty good. Unfortunately no pics. Nothing extravagant but notheless it looked good. They had differnt beers, fancy and not so fancy. Sodas and gatoraids,, and water. The music they pumped was excellent. They had a little party room to throw bdays. This place was a treasure trove of childhood happiness... If you don't bring your kids no worries. If you like pinball and old school arcade games, you will love this place. We have been to a few similar places in other parts of VA and this one is one of the best we have been too. The theming is awesome, the staff was very friendly and the best part is that the games work. We always go into these types of places knowing that the games are old and that there will be some issues, so we expect that, but we were very surprised at how well the games worked here. We love going to reclaim arcade. The games are all set on free play you can stay and play as long as you want. They recently started serving food and beverages.
