A really cool claw machine store! Each game is two tokens ($2) and fairly easy to get a prize after two times. If there is a prize you would really like but can't grab, you can ask an assistant to have them place it in a way to make it easier to grab. They also have a point system which is cool and also sustainable. Each little plush you collect you can trade for a larger plush or other neat item they have in the store. Everything about this place SCREAMS cute all the way down to the pink shopping baskets and brightly colored golden coins you use in the claw machines. Kako Claw is a little kids dream come true. I have stopped by many times without winning anyhting, so when my husband happened to stop in with my two littles he (and my daughters) were surprised and delighted when an arcade worker took pity on them and helped them manipulate the claw so they each could win a stuffed animal of their choice. This place recently opened up in Fair Oaks so I decided to try it out. It's right next to The Guild and Dick's Sporting Goods on the 1st floor if you can't seem to find it. Surprisingly I have never seen a place where it's just entirely filled with claw machines. We have places like Dave and Busters & Round 1 that do feature those machines but not purely just those cabinets by themselves. Inside you'll see a touchscreen monitor that you can pay to get coins to use to play the claw machines with. It's like 1$ for 1 play pretty much. You get more if you spend more of course so essentially the best option and costly too. The claw machines feature lots of stuffed animals and some were really cute. I wasn't there for too long but I ended up getting a cute plush after playing a cab for a few minutes. It's a great spot for kids to enjoy since the sheer excitement of just winning one is convincing alone. I can't really say about the staff because I didn't interact with them but they seem really nice and was able to be helpful for the people that went up to them. Would I come back? I don't see why not. I would love for them to add some Sanrio products to the claw machines. I'd spend the whole day getting one of each. read more

My daughter thoroughly enjoyed this place. We happened to stumble upon this gem about 2 or so months after it opened. Both of us were so happy and in heaven playing the claw machine and after spending $40, she walked away with 6 items! This place is not rigged, and I feel you have to be somewhat good at this. The employees are very nice if they see a child struggling so many times, they'll give a little assistance. My son on the other hand doesn't have much luck. But still will have fun with 1-2 items. Pro tip: go for the one closest to the hole so you have a higher chance of getting the item. Pure luck: my daughter just randomly picks one and gets them. As far as clawmachines go, these are pretty fair. I LOVE clawmachines and I stopped by the Fairfax mall just for Kako Claw. I was worried about rigged machines in most malls, but these were great. I spent $20 and got 3 plushies. I would definitely come back if I am ever in the area again. The free bag was also really cute and convient if you want to keep walking around the mall. read more

This place is so cute! It's right by The Guild, Dick's Sporting Goods, and Coldstone Creamery. I saw some videos on social media and decided to stop by here to check it out. You can purchase tokens to play the games- some are 2 or 3 tokens each. As someone who usually sucks at crane/ claw games, these ones are super easy to get! I got one on my first try. Some claws have a lot of rocking back and forth when moving towards the drop slot, so keep that in mind when trying to get some of the plushies. The more tokens you get, the better deal. $10 for 10 tokens $20 for 20 tokens $50 for 55 tokens And more! Check it out if you can. You also get a complimentary drawstring bag to carry your plushies, and the staff are super nice. The main issue that I have with this place is that most of the plushies aren't the "official" plushies of certain brands, like Pokémon and Sanrio. read more

Claw machines in the DMV?! Sign me up! I saw this place on TikTok, and as claw machine lovers, my partner and I had to stop by while in NOVA. There's a decent amount of claw machines with cute plushies ^w^. Things I liked about this store: - they have a point system where you could trade small plushies you win for bigger ones - the staff are friendly and helpful, giving you tips and even rearranging plushes if you ask or they notice you struggling - they have little pink shopping carts to help you hold your plushies and tokens - the tokens shoot out of the machine super fast when purchasing - they provide free drawstring bags to help you bring home your wins We spent $50 and were able to score 3 plushies. The management should really check out the prizes at other claw arcades like Round 1 or watch some YouTube videos. The machines should also be kept filled and the plushies should be fluffed so they look more appealing. People would play more if these slight improvements are made. read more

If you like claw machines its fun, most machines cost 2 tokens so $2.00. You get a discount if you buy 50 or more tokens. Most times when I've come in the machines have been pretty full, Only 1 time came by and the machines were empty they had a sign out front and employee said shipment was delayed because of weather so it was understandable. I went in today and was pulling tokens from my change purse and was told that were not allowed to take the tokens with us when we leave, we can give them to an employee and get them returned when we come back she wasn't rude just informing us. The employee didn't really know the reason why but they said they had other stores so maybe their indepetendly owned and want to go to their location. That being said sorry I'm not putting $20 into the machine, spending $5 and leaving the rest of my coins just not going to happen. Makes me not want to return in fear of being stopped when I'm leaving because they know I didn't use all my coins. Everytime we've gone in the employees have been polite and always willing to switch out stuffies from the same machine. Again only downside is them wanting us to leave our tokens, that rubs me the wrong way. read more

I absolutely love this place and come here often. The atmosphere is really reminiscent of our trip to Japan; the fond memories of the claw games always brought a thrill whenever we visited them. The machines are fair and the employees are always willing to help and answer questions. There is a great selection of prizes that include anime figures (Dragonball, One Piece, Naruto, etc.) from Banpresto/Bandai that are placed in 3 machines. We had an okay experience at kako claw, but don't think we will be returning. This is by far our least favorite claw arcade that we have visited. We didn't have the same experience as the other reviewers when it came to attentiveness of staff. They just sat behind the counter the whole time. Didn't really welcome us, offer suggestions or help, even when the kid was struggling. The claws would come up hard, jostle quite a bit, and open then drop the prize repeatedly. More than any other claw arcade we have visited. It's also on the more expensive side, 2 tokens a play (about $2) so your money doesn't go as far. The prizes are just okay, so it's not like the extra cost per play goes into better prizes. On the plus side, it's pretty clean and well lit and they give you a cute drawstring bag for your prizes, if you win. read more

I love claw machine and this place definitely caught my attention when I was at the mall. The display that was by the window, not every single design/character was available to grab inside the claw machine but most of them were. They also have bigger prizes where it's worth 8-15 points. Each stuff animal you get inside the machines are worth 1 point only. So to me the bigger prize isn't really worth it. My husband and I split the $50 deal and we left home with 10 stuffy ! Each claw machine per play is 2 tokens each. The prizes were very cute and different. It does seem pricey but to be honest I think it's more worth it than those random claw machine you play outside of supermarkets or the malls that you usually don't get anything at all. The only thing I didn't like about the machines were sometimes it glitches. I did mention that to the staff and they said maybe it had a glitch or lagged and she did refund me the 2 tokens I used. read more

I never knew about this place till my sister showed me.So today I went to try with my sister. Tons of claw machines with different plush toys and other stuff like snacks those anime figuring. So I tried it wasn't easy for me at first. When my sister tried she won. But when I tried one Claw Machine I was successful! Its very fun to play and to try. The tokens are pricey though my suggestion check the plush toy you win. Because one of my plush the thread was almost loose. Lucky my Mom sewed it back. This is the worst claw store ever. They had blind boxes on display that you were unable to win after cashing in the small prizes. This bullshit and a waste of money. You can win the plushes on display but the blind boxes you couldn't I'm pissed and no one should waste their money here. They said they were display however it said all blind boxes are 6pts and we had 6pts. If you can't get it then it shouldn't be on display. You'll waste a lot of money on really cheap prizes. Also it's very limited selection of stupid stuff. read more
